The GROSSEST Callout Yet…Added:
Sue has just sent me a job in Coolum Beach for I don't know what type of snake it is. All I know is it's a snake in a bunch of pipes at a plumbing place. Is that correct?
She knows more than me. I kind of just I just put the address in and I just go.
So, anyways, that's where we're going and hopefully it's something that's still there because that's usually >> [laughter] >> Hopefully this snake is still there because I could imagine a whole bunch of pipes would be so tricky to find something that's quick and venomous. So, hopefully it's like a carpet python or something.
All right, you ready? Yep, let's go.
So good.
Well, I might actually yellow tongue might come in handy.
I might be able to coax him down, [clears throat] but he's going to be asleep, so he's not going to be the happiest to be working out. Did the birds actually attack his body or they were just swiping?
>> I didn't see that happen. You didn't see? Okay. Just checking because I want to know if he's had any injuries or anything.
No.
Come on.
Let's go down.
>> [laughter] >> Come on, buddy.
Oh, he's so warm. I'm I'm not surprised he's sitting here. This is such a good spot.
It's It's not like there's like a whole entire bush for a snake right there.
Like, come on. Come on.
Is he poking his little noggin out?
Nope.
Come on, sweetie.
Come on.
Look at his little head.
>> [laughter] >> He's so cute.
Come on, dummy.
Come on, sweetie.
He's just a little one. He's just a little bub.
He's just a little bub.
He's a good size when they stretch out, but it's not huge.
Thought it'd have something in its belly, but no. Don't bite me, please.
Please bite.
>> so warm.
Please bite.
So, it's just a baby? It's not a baby, but like it's small compared to how big they get. It's probably around like 4 years old. All right.
>> Yeah. Babies are so like So, they're like that little? Um But yeah, when I say baby, it's just cuz he's like small compared to how big they can get.
So.
I'm glad he was there and not in one of Yeah, I know. [laughter] He'd be taking the whole park. Yeah, literally.
All righty, what's your favorite snake to catch?
>> [laughter] >> My favorite snake to catch is a brown tree snake. Come on, Sneaky.
All right, let's do it right here.
All right.
The time has come to release the little plumber coastal carpet python that was hanging around the piping area. He wants to get out from the wrong side of the bag. Come on.
No, there we go. This is little hey.
My shadow.
So, I just got home literally about 10 minutes ago and Stu sent me another job.
I was just getting to the social media, but snakes come first. Actually, wait no, this isn't even a snake. This is a rat or a mouse in an engine bay, but it's deceased. So, it's going to be nice and warm and smell great. So, I'm not excited, but I thought you guys would love to come along for the journey to see cuz we do quite a few different things sometimes.
Um so, let's see how we go. Wish me luck.
I was thinking wouldn't come out.
Oh, they don't do this type of stuff?
I said, "You don't have to touch it. All you have to do is just remove a couple of items, you know, like maybe do that and that maybe so that I could actually get in there and do it myself." Yeah.
This is nice and warm.
It's really warm.
Thank you for doing the torch.
I'm sorry.
Where do I do that from? Can I do Can I get it off? He's really jammed in there, isn't he? I'm better off using my actual hand because I'll pull that to the side.
Sorry. If I can get Can you get your hands past me with that or is that in the way?
It's going to be easier without my gloves.
Just have to wash the crap out of my hands.
>> [laughter] >> Hang on.
Oh my god, you're going to wake him.
You're actually the goat, bro. Like, seriously.
>> Oh, HE'S GOT LITTLE HAIR. [screaming] TAKE DOUBLE BAG.
PUT THAT IN YOUR I'LL try that.
I'm going to get slimy stuff on He's so little.
Six.
Do it again.
I don't know what we'll do double. I do maybe triple.
Maybe quadruple.
>> [laughter] >> That's I'd say go back and tell Stuart that that's above the pay grade.
Actually, your hands are a lot smaller than mine, too. Yeah, maybe that's Yeah, and I kind of wanted it in a different angle. Yeah, you did. You did good.
Okay, one more and that should be fine.
Moo.
Hello.
Oh, he doesn't care. Where are your brothers and sisters? There's usually like so many on this road. Like, I used to have to honk to get them off the road.
Hello, sir.
>> [laughter] >> Well, hello, everybody. This is our first night time call out together on the YouTube. This is Snake Catcher Wally, he's my father. Um hold it a little bit further back.
>> [sighs and gasps] >> There we go, that's better. So, we're going to a job in Nerangba, so not too far from our place. They're supposedly has a carpet python eating something. Hopefully, it's not a possum, but that is the What's it called? That is mother nature. All righty, so we're going to try and film the catch for you guys. Hopefully get some close-ups and then we can go and release him.
Oh, he's ready to strike at anything that comes past. Oh. That's generally what they do when they're in that position. All right, so maybe he hasn't eaten.
Or would he be? No, it doesn't Oh, get out the light. No, it doesn't look like it. I think he's just the way he's laying.
Um he's basically ready for literally anything to run past and he will just go whack. See how he's just in that mode?
Yeah.
But we do get we do get um rats that come out.
Oh, you do? Yeah. Yeah. I mean, probably not. I don't know. Oh, I'm sorry. That's all right.
Okay, he's being reasonably nice. There we go.
Yeah, they're usually more active at night times.
[ __ ] All righty.
>> Drop it. Do you guys want to get any photos of it?
Oh, yes, please.
Well, it's looking at you.
All right, I'll try and get it in the light. Let me see.
He thinks he's a baby, is he? Yeah, I'd say probably like 5 years old. That's okay.
Um yeah, cuz they do you I'm sure you've seen them, they get way bigger than this. You got to get a photo of it as well?
He seems like very nice. Oh, yeah. He's pretty cool.
I I expected him to a little bit be a little bit more aggravated because he looked like he was hungry, but he's just like, "What is going on right now?"
All right, get him in the bag.
But yeah, they get they can get up to about 3 m, more if they're well-fed out in the bush, but around suburbans generally around 3 m.
>> maybe even the one that So, one up in the shed probably a couple of months ago. Wee, get away from my face. Yeah, you reckon around similar size? Yeah, I didn't have a great look at him, but yeah, cuz he was underneath the like uh like sheet metal type of uh >> Oh, so it means so nice. That's a wall.
It's all under and uh it's staying everything up there. So, we probably need to get it out. If you've got room there's no reason for it to leave.
>> Yeah. I've just finished with that catch. Um they thought it was eating something but it wasn't. Anyways, I didn't realize but the entire time I was catching that snake, I had dog poo on my boots. Let me know if you noticed it but oh my gosh, it smells so bad. So, I've got my boots in a bag, plastic bag at the moment um and we're on our way to release it.
So, I'm just getting Dad to release the snake because my boots are in well, I've got other boots there but they're old.
And then my poo covered boots are in there. So, Dad is on release duties.
And this is probably the worst filming you'll ever get.
But there it is. Beautiful snake.
Straight back out into the bush. We found a really nice little opening here.
He's struggling to [laughter] get it out.
There we go. Gorgeous.
Hopefully it can find something to eat out here.
