MP TEARS Into Keir Starmer in the Most POWERFUL Speech Parliament Has Heard in Years

[00:00:52]And then she asked one devastating question that the Prime Minister couldn't answer. A question about Peter Mandelson, about vetting, about jobs for the boys at the very top of British government. This MP told Parliament, and I quote, "There's a stink here, and the public smell it."

[00:03:18]And yet we're expected to believe from those benches that it's nothing to see here. We're going to do some process here and there.

[00:03:26]It's a bit of a hoo-ha, as if there's been a bit of opprobrium around an appointment of a local rotary club.

[00:03:34]But don't worry about that. It seems to be jobs for the boys going great guns over the road there.

[00:03:40]Instead of a meritocracy, it's a chumocracy.

[00:03:43]And that is at the nub of this.

[00:03:46]We cannot get We cannot get answers as to why this was done.

[00:03:54]So, what I'm asking today, will the real Prime Minister please stand up?

[00:04:01]Is it the man who wanted to tread lightly on our lives? Is it the man who promised a decade of national renewal?

[00:04:08]Is it the man who said that he was going to do things by the book and better?

[00:04:13]Because in my nearly 2 years here, I have not seen that.

[00:04:18]This should not be about party politics.

[00:04:21]This should be about doing the right thing. And I'm here as one member of my party.

[00:04:27]So, I'm aware that I'm speaking from a place of privilege myself.

[00:04:31]But believe you me, there's a stink here.

[00:04:35]And the public smell it.

[00:04:37]And if we're serious about getting better in terms of making our constituents' lives better, in terms of proving that this place can deliver, well, every single person here today has a choice. Make the right one. This speech should be everywhere.
