Tessie’s method exemplifies the intellectual beauty of delayed gratification, turning a small plot into a masterclass in long-term resource efficiency. It’s a refreshing reminder that true sustainability is achieved through strategic patience rather than high-cost consumption.

Little Land, BIG Living | Mini Farm追加:
Welcome everyone to Homestead Tessie.
The chicken coop is taking shape and form. It's starting to look like a chicken coop.
Today is Sunday and I hope that you are all doing well and I hope that you are inspired by our work here on our little homestead.
Let's get watching and see how this coop is going to finish.
And then all we have to do is the door yet, which will be in the next videos.
These are my daily video diaries, what we do every single day, 365 days of the year.
Gathered all of my stuff together. It's really chilly this morning >> [music] >> and I'm going to go into to the greenhouse because it is probably 70° in there and I'm going to do all my work inside there.
It's really nice that I have everything organized now. So, we are going to go ahead and we are going to repot some of these rosemary.
I'm thinking I'm going to use these or maybe I'll just use the bigger ones.
So, we have these and we're going to use these for the rosemary.
And let me go get my dibbler. I love this.
This is great for planting things.
Absolutely love it. And let's go ahead and get started and get these rosemary plants all repotted.
And I just love it in here because it is so much easier to find what I'm looking for because everything is organized. It's a little bit cold yet, so what I'm going to Peekaboo.
I'm not sure how many have rooted.
All right, so they're all rooted. I'm going to go ahead and put them in the house right away and get them in the sun.
All right, so the next thing we're going to do is we're going to plant some of these. This was given to me by a friend and she said these are flower seeds from the Amish.
She doesn't know the name of them, so we're going to have fun.
We're going to find out what they look like.
My perennial flowers, I always like to start early in the spring.
Now, usually they won't flower the first year, they will flower the second year.
But perennials are really expensive when you buy them in the store and you can buy you can actually plant them by seed.
Just takes a little longer.
My husband is still working on the chicken house and so that's what you hear in the background and I'll show you that in a minute.
Okay, this is perfect.
So, we'll see what they look like.
All right, so now we're going to work on the peas.
And I'm not sure how many of these we're going to use.
So, let's see how many it's going to take.
Oh, well. That's not good.
So, we'll put one here.
One here.
One here.
One like this.
Let's do a couple more.
All right, so I want to show you a little tip. If you love the seed packets, but you know they get wet from being in the weather, you can put them inside a jar just like this.
And then you put the jar upside down, they'll stay nice all summer long. So, we're going to go ahead and we're going to have it just like that. Now, we have the pretty label with the purple peas and now we have it like this and it will stay really pretty.
>> [snorts] >> I absolutely love it. It's super duper cute and it's self-explanatory and it keeps you cool as well.
>> [music] [music] [music] >> Thank you so much for watching today's video. We have some [music] more upcoming homestead projects. My husband and I working together. I also want to say thank you to all of you who said that you're watching some of my back videos. [music] Right now, revenue is extremely low and by watching my other videos, you are doing so much help for me.
Maybe if you have an extra 5, 10, 15 minutes, you could just play one of my other videos and watch them. That helps me tremendously. I know the majority of people miss out on a lot of my videos and if you could just watch a back one, that is amazing and helps me out more than you could ever realize.
Thanks again for watching. We'll see you guys again tomorrow. Bye.
Oh, and of course, if you haven't subscribed to my channel, I have a lot of good quality, wholesome content that is every single day of the year.
Bye, guys.
