This is a textbook example of data-driven banality that mistakes seasonal predictability for insightful reporting. It prioritizes immediate utility over any meaningful atmospheric or systemic depth.

DFW Weather: A look at the Father's Day forecast with humidity remaining and more chances at scatter
Added:What? Let me show you what's happening out there right now in the rain. Look at the rain. I mean I mean there was a chunk of North Texas that didn't pick up any. And then there were other locations Love Field picked up I know nobody lives here, but there's people who live near Love Field. They picked up over 3 in. McKinney 1.4, Canton just about a tenth the same thing at Tyler, Athens, Corsicana, Mexia. I mean not much at all if anything there, but in the Metroplex we had this one bullseye right here Pilot Point to Frisco to Plano to Richardson. There's Love Field again. I mean that's at 2 to 3 in plus there that Fort Worth only picked up a third Roman Decater and Wise County only picked up about 3/4 of an inch. Weatherford 1.8, Springtown 1.64.
High today we didn't weren't able to rise a whole lot with the clouds and the rain around. We hit 85 the morning low was 71. Both of those numbers are cooler than the normals of 92 and 73. We've been as hot as 103. We picked up 2/3 of an inch today at DFW.
We're above normal for the month. I think right now we're the sixth so if it didn't rain at all anymore for the rest of the month we're either the sixth or seventh wettest June on record. This is great and for the year we're above normal by 2.14. I and you ask well why is this great Pete? Because it's about to shut off. It usually shuts off the first half of June. Now that we're kind of into that second half of June it's the faucet should have shut off by now.
The fact that it hasn't and we're 5 and 1/2 in above normal for the month. I mean great news because believe me once it shuts off it won't rain again until Halloween. Outside right now it's 76 southeast winds at 5 mph. Pollen today?
Everything's low fungus grasses goosefoot nettle oak and willow all on the low side. Here we are. Metroplex is dry the sun is coming out. We had a couple little showers over around Paris.
>> [clears throat] >> Pardon me.
It's those non-filtered Camels I just can't give them up, but we do have that rain that started to end across the area. We're socked in with a little bit of cloud cover. The sun's peaking out in some locations, but there's the last little batch that moved through. Here's my forecast as we head through tonight.
Watch this area down here. This is after midnight, 3:00, 4:00, 5:00 in the morning. That's the most likely area for rain. This area is to the southeast of the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Now, watch tomorrow, 8:00 in the morning. See a couple little spotty showers. 3:00, 4:00, 5:00. And then we clear out as we head through tomorrow night. So, here's my forecast for tonight. Maybe a spotty shower or two. 10% of us see that. Most of us are dry. A muggy night. We drop to 74° for the low. Then during the day tomorrow, uh mix of clouds and sun, we hit 91°. Some spotty showers, maybe a rumble or two of thunder. A warm, humid day with light winds, 91° tomorrow. And then 97°, partly to mostly sunny, hot on Father's Day, dry. 96° Monday, 94° Tuesday, 93° Wednesday, 94° Thursday. And this is the unusual weather pattern that goes into the uh into June 25th with temperatures in the middle 90s. It's just a tad warmer than normal, but a chance of rain. Once again, by the second half of June, typically, not always, but typically, it's not rare, but typically, the rain shuts off and the temperatures warm up. 95° Friday, June 26th, and dry.
Then the final seven of the 14 days, it is dry every day after that, and high temps jump into the middle 90s. And Sporty, that's when the gates of hell start to open.
That's when they start to open, and they don't close until sometime well, they're always open when the fair is here. Certainly opening day, but uh that's in September. But uh they definitely uh start to open, and they don't shut for quite a while.
