Before going deeper into the hunting area, each bow was checked, the strings were tightened, and the arrows were prepared with care, continuing a hunting method passed down through generations.

After locating the entrance, a young man shot an arrow to immobilize it. Immediately, everyone rushed to dig the burrow and pull out the prey, avoiding the sharp quills that could injure their hands. When they managed to approach the porcupine, they used a wooden stick to control it and pull it from the shelter. The whole process required patience, experience, and precise coordination.
