Isometric muscle flexing (isometric contraction) provides multiple benefits including enhanced muscle fiber activation before training, increased muscle memory for faster recovery when returning to training, and improved vascularity with veins potentially increasing by 10-fold when muscles are flexed to full capacity.

Flexing muscles (isometric contraction) offers significant benefits beyond showing off #watchpageAdded:
Welcome in, guys.
I'm going to explain to you well why flexing benefits is important.
So, there's multiple reasons why.
There's only a couple of reasons why I do it.
But, it's definitely not for a vanity show.
>> [gasps] >> For me, I get extra muscle fiber twitching.
So, you know, getting them muscles to twitch on their own, they'll just do it even when you don't even realize you're doing it.
I get to activate my muscles to their full peak, allowing me to have a full activation before training. So, just before I train, I like to do about 4-5 minutes of this just to really get them muscles activated and primed.
>> [sighs] >> Now, muscle memory increases. So, if you stop training and you come back to it, it's going to be easier to get the growth back, to get the muscle back.
Now, vascularity, another reason why I do it.
The vascularity, the veins will increase by 10-fold.
Every time you flex your muscles, you put them at full capacity. You know, you're using everything to squeeze that muscle.
And that's why the most muscular pose is so important. This This pose just activates chest, arms, and all your upper traps.
>> [snorts] >> It's the OP of uh It's the OP, the goat of flexing.
>> [sighs and snorts] [sighs] >> Arms are pretty easy. I just kind of tense them and tense them, tense them, and tense them, tense them, and tense them.
All right.
>> [sighs] >> With side bends, instead of doing that, I twist them out.
What I'll do, instead of doing that every time, I'll just drop to the side.
Just really got a good squeeze for that side, you know.
>> [sighs and gasps] >> God damn.
>> [sighs] >> I'm going to put on some timber.
God damn.
>> [sighs] >> God damn.
Lats spread is really important when you're flexing.
As I fall back to my weight, >> [sighs and gasps] >> I side stretch my lats well.
It's kind of doing a lats spread from the side to bring it out. I love that one. It really gives you a good back stretch.
Absolutely brilliant.
>> I'm just going to be burning out.
All right, guys. You can add flexing into your routine.
Change your gains. It's worth it.
