Um, on Twitch, it's a bit more ambiguous, but today, uh, Miguel FM adboards, it it kind of transpired that, um, they have been stealing loosely adapting plugins from Declan and from Setham. So if you don't know, Setham is a person who had a breakthrough with the scoreboards.

[00:00:41]So what he actually did was create a plugin for Bean X where he could uh inject scoreboards and he is the person who kind of you know got that going.

[00:00:53]So, we discovered that a lot of the fonts that were in Miguel's uh what's it called? Miguel's Patreon packs actually just were a onetoone copy of of Sethum's fonts and some graphics even with the same bugs and with the same errors that Seth pointed out himself, which is obviously not chill, especially not given Setham does it. He has a he has a free version of it and Miguel only has paid versions of it.

[00:01:29]I mean when when system contacted me I was kind of angry already but obviously you you don't have that much evidence. So at that point it was a very heavy uh suspicion maybe. Hey, Leo.

[00:01:50]Quickly, we kind of started speculating that perhaps a Declan's crowd chance mod could also be subject to the same kind of thing.

[00:02:00]So, I reached out to Declan as did Setham and we just straight up asked, "Yo, do you guys do you know anything?" Um, so he started investigating and he found out that the bases of of Miguel's uh chant and and like crowd audio plugins, they all had the same base, which was Declan's crowd mod, right?

[00:02:28]So, it's two cases. And in this case, it's two cases of blatant theft. No credit was given.

[00:02:36]No permission was asked to to use any of this.

[00:02:42]None of it at that point.

[00:02:48]That's when I posted my tweet, my post, my ex, whatever the [ __ ] it's called. I just don't sit well with that kind of stuff.

[00:02:57]And it's it's more than just, oh, both Zam and Declan are having their income be. No, it's way [ __ ] deeper than that. It's about the fundamental trust.

[00:04:25]And that's the bit that gets me so upset. If he would have just gone in and asked those guys straight away, is it okay if I use these plugins? Is it okay if I They are reasonable people, right? So, he gets called out and there is zero remorse. In fact, he kind of doubles down.

[00:05:00]Instead, he goes, "Yeah, but I built so much more on top of it." Yeah, we know.

[00:05:09]You've taken away income from those from those people that would have gone to their Patreon instead. You've given 0.0 credit. This is a foundation of trust. I cannot go into this community anymore and and and collaborate and share stuff because ultimately it it affects my bottom line as well.

[00:05:32]It is it's something that's so fragile you it's hard to explain it if if you're not in this scene. And to some people it's gonna sound like I'm playing the the the world's smallest [ __ ] violin, which fair enough if you think that that's okay.

[00:05:52]Feel free to do so. But this is a foundational basis of trust and the the the fact that there is no remorse tops it off. I am super happy and and grateful for all the for the hundreds of kind messages that I see every week. I am because you guys are keeping me going at this moment.

Not because I want to enrich myself, but because when I go on Twitter and I see three or four posts a day of people begging and twerking for a free version where I go, I really came into this scene with the idea I'm going to be this guy and I I really hope that I can make the difference and show show that it it can be done that it that that you can come in here you can put out a free pack from which you you you can sustain yourself on the side but that it would not be necessary to pay wallet.

The only way is through crossover, which simil which is like a a Windows emulator in a way. But it is fundamentally I cannot make I cannot change this. I cannot get it to work on MacBook.

I am aware that people in Indonesia aren't able to afford the the €10 or the €1250 that you have to pay. I know that I am so painfully aware of it, which is why I'm making it free because I want people from all over the [ __ ] world to enjoy it because I was in a position a few years ago where I could not afford this.
