[00:12:05]It's lovely. It's sort of tulips and blossom and all the joys of spring.

[00:12:19]So, we've just stopped in this pub so Wil can swap his bags over and we've discovered the most sticky floor since 1984.

[00:12:29]We're on our way to the Novia Museum and we're walking down a street called Wool Staplers Street. And so I've just asked Tanya, does she have any reference for stapler or staple and wool?

[00:12:48]>> Well, and I think I know what it means, but I'm not 100% sure.

[00:12:53]>> What do you think it means? So in my many and fairy career, one of the was obviously as a shepherd or at least working for a bit on a sheep farm. And one of the things I had to do was roll fleeces during shearing, which is really hard work. And what I think a staple is in relation to wool is the depth of the fleece from the back of the sheep to the tip of the wool. I haven't googled this yet, but I will shortly.

[00:13:23]Um, so yeah, that's what I think a stapler is in wall terms.

[00:13:45]>> Apart from it being a museum, why did we? Uh, I think it was recommended to us by the really helpful ladies at the um Roman Villa Palace place.

[00:15:28]So, day two of our tour and we've stumbled across a market.

[00:16:06]>> And I think to say that you could do it all in one day >> is possibly not true as well because there's there's a lot to see here, isn't there? Yeah.

[00:16:15]>> So, you know, we've done what we want to do in one day and a bit, but you could spend a long time mooching about here and taking your time. We don't take our time really.

[00:16:25]>> So, we're going to be starting our Roman Wall walk, which goes all the way around the outside of the city from the Bishop's Palace Gardens entrance, which we think >> maybe down here.

[00:16:46]And there we think are the stairs.

[00:16:50]>> We are winging this slightly, aren't we?

[00:16:52]>> So we as you come out as you approach the Bishop's Palace Gardens from the cloysters, we think you come through this little art train and hook a right left >> and go up these stairs.

[00:17:13]Okay, we're not going to race around here, but just out of interest, we see roughly how long it takes us amling along.

[00:18:21]>> Yeah. When you're when you're a vehicularist, >> it's um I I find it a little bit annoying, but as a pedestrian, it's flipping brilliant, isn't it?

[00:18:49]>> Not us. Well, with the help of other people if it's the right place >> and true to form in that short period of time before we record the last bit to this bit, we did get lost. [laughter] >> So that's got to be, isn't it?

[00:19:05]>> It's Roman origin.

[00:19:16][music] We obviously know that this to my side isn't the Roman wall necessarily. Could be part of it for all we know. Uh but we're walking on top of the Roman walls, we believe.

[00:19:37]>> For any amputees that are following us, how is your leg today?

[00:19:41]>> Oh, actually, yes. Uh today it's early in the morningish still and it's okay.

[00:19:47]But I've been having for the first time ever in being an amput which is only since 2018.

[00:19:52]Um I had my fall if you follow us you know I fell over back just after Christmas I think and that re and it was a mechanism failure on my leg. Uh and I have to acknowledge that it's damaged my confidence. So my superpower was my confidence. It was almost like nothing could beat me. I was like super confident and fatigue and uh >> that goes for both of us actually.

[00:20:14]>> Yeah.

[00:20:15]>> Yeah. because that >> you're worried about before [clears throat and laughter] me.

[00:20:18]>> Yeah. It was really scary cuz I couldn't do anything to help you. I couldn't get you up and so it's knocked my confidence that if you're out on your own, what what if you >> What if you Yeah.

[00:20:31]>> Yeah.

[00:20:31]>> So, yeah. So, that's been a bit of a downer and my leg. So, now I'm going through So, it's a bit of a confidence issue and discomfort. So, I'd normally be badgering my limb center for different discomfort reasons and, you know, down there and they'd be tweaking it all for me, but I've sort of lost confidence in the whole thing and uh not in the lovely people, but in just in the whole thing and um so I'm probably neglecting my my the fitment of my leg >> squeaking now, isn't it? Every step. Uh because it's I don't want to upset the apple cart cuz the last time I upset the apple cart, I ended up face first and then about a week after after they repaired it almost face first again.

[00:21:10]>> Um so yeah. So so anyway, sorry get back to what I said. Um I'm getting good and bad days now. I'm sort of now one of those people. Oh, today's a good day. So right now it's really good day, but I'm getting bad days where we haven't done a lot and it it's got in my head a bit. So couple of weeks ago for about a week I was feeling pretty I would say low but really my answer would be peed off um with the whole thing and we we I wasn't doing much was I >> no >> I was a bit sad so I did my day's work and then >> slumped along. I'm back on it a little bit now. Um >> yeah it's amazing what a a bit of a kick up the pants in a non good way can how it can knock you back and this has definitely knocked me back.

[00:28:42]That took us exactly to this. That's amazing. Exactly one hour to walk the wall and the interim bits to join it back up.

[00:28:53]It's broken up into bits because of obviously all the buildings and shops that have grown up around it. But look to the floor, look for the swords and they'll point you in the right direction.

[00:29:13]>> But this walk has taken us to see other parts of that we wouldn't we wouldn't have seen if we didn't do the walk.
