[00:00:00]Good afternoon. We're team 10131 Royal Turtles, and I'm Tristan, and this is Luke. And today we're going to talk about our favorite part of our robot, which is our intake. Before in Shanghai and Marmara Regionals, our intake was very fragile. We used uh polycarb boards and uh thinner aluminum boards, and it kept breaking at spots that we didn't want it to break, such as the 3D prints of the rollers and the roller itself.

[00:00:21]Some of it even snapped in half. So, we redesigned our whole intake uh for this World Championship. Now, Luke is going to can talk uh to you more about it.

[00:00:30]Uh so, we kind of dropped down the intake for a bit.

[00:00:35]So, um we swapped our intake into two uh thick uh aluminum plates, which is 1/2 in thick, which makes it much more sturdier than our past acrylic boards plate. And this change helped us to take impact from the sides, and we also switched the hit bar into a 1 * 2 in tube, and which we can take much more damage in front and also on the sides.

[00:00:58]Also, uh for the intake rollers, back then it was uh purely acrylic, but we now have a have a strong uh aluminum tube through the intake part, which is here, and which makes the intake intake part itself much more sturdier and more prone to impact.
