[00:00:05]>> I'm sure that grass is quite tall because we've had a lot of rain here lately. Very active pattern as well.

[00:00:11]We're going to quiet things down for today because high pressure has finally taken control. It's going to shove all of that moisture you see across Virginia down into West Virginia and even the Carolas. That's all going to sit off the eastern seabboard today. And quiet weather will set up across the lower Midwest as well as the Ohio River Valley. And we're tapping into that northerly wind component coming around that high pressure zone. And that's ushering in a drier and cooler air mass overall. And our temperatures running quite a bit cooler than this time yesterday by as much as 14 degrees here from Indie down to Greencastle. We were in the upper 60s at this time yesterday.

[00:00:48]And now we have fallen back into the 50s. Right now 56 as we are watching the sun come up over that eastern horizon there on the west side of town at the country club of Indianapolis. and that Dupoint temperature in the low 50s. A good sign that dry air has returned.

[00:01:03]Taking us through the afternoon hours today. We're going to keep the sunshine going and temperatures returning to the upper 70s for most of us across the state. Places like Bedford over to Columbus, even climbing into the low 80s today. Now, as we look ahead, this is going to take us into tomorrow. Once again, sun coming up in the six o'clock hour around 6:17. It will be a dry start to the day and really most of our day on Wednesday will be dry. I think tomorrow is actually going to be pretty similar to today. The thing you're going to notice the wind direction shifting back out of the southwest. So that dupoint temperature might climb a bit as we await that rain chance coming in late Wednesday night. Here your high forecast temperatures tomorrow get pretty similar today. Upper 70s and into the low 80s.

[00:01:47]We will ramp up that rain opportunity Wednesday night. This looks to be mainly an overnight setup for us as a cold front will move through. Then as we get into Friday pattern becomes a little bit more active, a little more widespread rain and storm chances even for the final day of the work week. So high pressure remains in control for us today into tomorrow. Now we're into about midnight Thursday. Here comes that cold front. Not a ton of moisture with that.

[00:02:13]Still though could impact that morning drive on Thursday. Could be a little wet on some of those paved surfaces. And then this will sit to our south. This is at 6 pm on Thursday. Notice where this boundary is going to be set up at this point. Better chance for rain across southern Indiana at that point. Low pressure will then track closer to central Indiana. That will enhance our shower coverage and even some embedded thunderstorms as we get into the evening hours on Friday. Not going to rule out perhaps an isolated stronger storm embedded within that Thursday or I should say Friday evening into the first part of the day on Saturday. A lot of overnight events for us coming up. And then on Saturday, better chance of some lingering showers, mainly south as that boundary stalls out. Looking pretty good and heating up mid 80s by Sunday and then pushing 90 as that summertime heat returns to kick off next week.
