The Ends Justify The Means in Politics in Texas and Maine-- It Doesn't Work Unless You're in a Cult

[00:00:06]Because us versus them mentality doesn't work.

[00:00:12]Unless you're in a cult.

[00:00:14]So, the left trying this right now with their people, it's not going to work.

[00:00:20]I cannot tell you the amount of times when I have addressed the topic of these political situations that y'all have come into the comments and said, "Well, everyone just has to do it.

[00:00:33]Everyone just has to put aside their individual opinions and vote for for Grant Planter because Susan Collins is a bad guy."

[00:00:42]It doesn't work that way.

[00:00:45]Nobody has to vote. This isn't Brazil.

[00:00:49]We don't have mandatory voting. I would love it if we did, but they don't have to.

[00:00:55]All of this virtue signaling, it's [ __ ] And it is ends justifies the means mentality, and I am going to be calling it out every effing time I see it. Because guess what? The Knitting Co Lady platform, not here to help the Democrats win.

[00:01:37]And what doesn't work is completely not listening to people the way they've done in Texas and Maine.

[00:01:46]And then telling people they just have to vote for the candidate who won your primary.

[00:01:54]And many different groups of people are telling us right now that they won't.

[00:02:00]Black Texans right now coming out pretty loudly saying they just don't care if Texas gets 6 more years of Ken Paxton.

[00:02:09]Cuz y'all didn't listen to them.

[00:02:11]They're so tired of the Democratic Party just assuming that they will have the black vote.

[00:02:20]Because y'all have been so steeped in apocalyptic thinking.

[00:02:25]Because of the white privilege of the apocalyptic thinking that has been going on in this country for the last 75 weeks.

[00:02:33]Y'all think that everyone is the same amount of desperate.

[00:02:39]Meanwhile, the systems haven't been working for large groups of people for a really long time.

[00:02:45]And they're not willing to vote for your candidate just because you say the other guy is worse.

[00:02:51]It's a failing strategy.

[00:02:57]Y'all are going to have to do better or we're going to end up with 2 more years of this [ __ ] 6 more years of this [ __ ] 20 more years of Ken Paxton.
