[00:01:37][music] I remember one specific day uh I think it was the third or fourth day. It was already late night. We were already like 10 12 hours working on the record that day. But somehow end of the night uh just came to my mind as Jay like how much can you like you know burn the whole [ __ ] while we play you know. Oh I can burn a lot. You say okay Jay let's go play. A you And I SAT [cheering] [music] YEAH. [music] HEAT.

[00:03:40]My goal is tell a story and it's telling a story from a different perspective.

[00:03:46]Following my band leader ideas, following the flow, my general playing and basically try to get the ideas real.

[00:04:11][music] This music comes from heart, not coming from rehearsal, from something that we structured for social media before the record. We just played lives. So we start with live shows and then we came here. And this story needs to be spread out everywhere in my opinion.

It was triggered or influenced by thinking about the wars in the world right now and the um you know how you're just watching the world go to pieces in a way and Zoki explained me something about that narrative [music] on this track that this track to me sounded like a spaceship and um yeah I was just going inside my mind thinking about that specific experience of and wanting to send send love towards that.

[00:06:10]So I've chosen a song uh which I thought will completely fit her uh performance.

[00:06:17]I specifically asked for her to write a story or a laabi on goodnik language.

[00:06:27]>> When I'm singing it's always like I'm in a bit of a different state. I feel a lot more myself when I'm singing than when I'm going about, you know, the everyday stuff.

[00:06:42][music] [music] >> All my thoughts, darkness, I put in music. All the messages I want to say, I put in music. Sometimes I feel like a messenger. I just don't know. Feel like just I need to say something.

[00:07:06]But you need to have opportunity to say it, you know, to somebody. Somebody could hear you, you know.

[00:07:16][music] >> [music] >> Since I was a kid actually, I started writing music. This was my escape, you know, since I'm growing up like there's always a war. Imagine growing up in that kind of environment like this is not like natural for kids, you know. Most of our generations like grew up like that back in back home. Like that's insane.

[00:07:53]You have completely you know the whole generation of people where we're living are like mentally you know the war changes you you know the war changes the state of the of the of the whole nation of the community you know for any normal like human being I think you know you should sit sit down with yourself and you should think twice you know about where this world is leading.

[00:08:18]because you know I'm not important anymore you know I have some years already behind me you know but the kids are important so you know what's there going to be left like I really don't know but that expropriation of the third world has been going on for 400 years brings us to another revelation namely that the third world is not poor You don't go to poor countries to make money.

[00:08:50]There are very few poor countries in this world. Most countries are rich. The Philippines are rich. Brazil is rich.

[00:08:59]Mexico is rich. Chile is rich. [music] Only the people are poor.

[00:09:08]But there's billions to be made there to be carved out and to be taken. There's been billions for 400 years. The capitalist European and North American powers have carved out and taken the timber, the flax, the hemp, the cocoa, the rum, the tin, the copper, the iron, the rubber, the boxite, the slaves, and the cheap labor. They have taken out of these countries. These countries are not underdeveloped. They're overexploited.

[00:09:50]there's more [music] people speaking out like with no compromise speaking out you know it's very simple if you're a normal human being like you can differentiate what's like right what's wrong you can just feel it here like there's no you don't need to discuss a lot about it Merc on me.

[00:11:51]um and with good musicians and I think we got a lot of interesting sounds and um and I think the stuff that I've been able to mix so far, you know, it's coming together into a into a overall picture that that works well.

[00:12:07][music] This music is like a train. It just like pushes pushes through and pushes forward all the time.

[00:12:17]And I feel [music] like I'm just floating on top of that with the way I am.

[00:12:24][music] [music] [music] Heat. Heat. [music] [music] >> [music] >> Everything is so [ __ ] corporative, you know, even the music, you know, the festival, the scene, you know, back home here, [music] everywhere, you know, and I don't feel comfortable with that, you know.

[00:13:28]Light fills my six senses.

[00:13:30]I see it, hear it, taste it, smell it, touch it, and think it.

[00:13:41]Thinking is my sixth sense and particles of light are written as notes.

[00:13:48]Light is the fundamental source of creation.

[00:13:54]Within one of its rays lies the destiny of nations and each nation has its own ray within this great source of light that we see as the sun.

[00:14:40]That's like my message because you know they are like uh in a really uh main um focus in the recent years and uh the world is [music] completely turned upside down. It's like more present than ever.
