No More Foreign-Born Members in Congress: Ilhan Omar, Jayapal Targeted In New America First Bill

A bill has been introduced to require members of Congress, federal judges, and Senate confirmed officers to be natural-born citizens. Elon Omar, Shri Thenadar, and Promeila Japel were all born in foreign countries. They are all sitting in the United States Congress and they all make it clear every single day that their loyalty is not to America. That's according to Representative Nancy Mace.

[00:00:27]Mace points out that this is the same standard already required for president and vice president. This bill targets foreignborn naturalized citizens in powerful positions who critics say put other countries first. It directly calls out members like Omar who was born in Somalia. Thenadar born in India and Japel also born in India. They're all sitting in Congress without being natural-born Americans. Omar is tied to the massive $9 billion welfare fraud in Minnesota carried out by her fellow Somali migrants. She's also accused of immigration fraud. Thanodar introduced seven articles of impeachment against President Donald Trump and tried to force a floor vote on impeachment. Japel is talking to foreign governments, specifically ambassadors from Mexico and other Latin American countries to help get oil delivered to Cuba in defiance of President Trump's executive orders and tighten sanctions on the communist regime. Mesa's resolution says, quote, "The people writing America's laws, confirming America's judges, and representing America on the world stage should have one loyalty, America, not any other country." She wants to end what she calls years of allowing foreign born members to work for America last priorities. It would need twothirds approval in both the House and the Senate plus ratification by 38 states.
