A proposed legislation called the 'Make Billionaires Pay Their Fair Share Act' would implement a 5% annual wealth tax on billionaires (approximately $4.4 trillion over 10 years) to fund direct payments of $3,000 per individual (up to $12,000 for families of four) to households with income under $150,000, representing a wealth redistribution approach rather than a traditional stimulus check.

Congress Demands $12,000 Direct Deposit Payments to Millions of PeopleAñadido:
Lawmakers are going on tour all around the country, suggesting and calling for upwards of $12,000 of direct deposits right into the bank accounts of hundreds of millions of Americans. And that's what I want to talk about and share with you right here in this video cuz we are talking about a lot of money. And this could do a lot of good for a lot of people who would really need multiple thousands of dollars just spontaneously deposited right into their bank account.
This is literally what they are talking about and what I'm going to share with you in this video. Now, stick with me cuz I do have this article right here.
I'm going to pop this up on the screen in just a minute so you can see and reach for yourself exactly what this article is saying. I'll pull out the details of the article, what the name of this is that lawmakers are pitching, how much money people could see as a result of this, who is going to be paying for this, where would all the money come from, what would be the income thresholds to be eligible for something like this, and all of the other details that we need to recognize about this.
Now, this is not that much of a shock because we've seen many other lawmakers coming out with similar ideas and plans to basically distribute all kinds of money. It's interesting that so many lawmakers have been coming out over the last few months, realistically since the beginning of 2026 suggesting so many plans to distribute money to the American people, but yet they've done nothing. All right? I mean, I'm going to be fair with you. They've done nothing.
But at the same time, they're talking about it so aggressively. I don't know.
Is it just a little bit of a sales pitch for the midterm elections next uh you know, later this year or what is it? I don't know. But I'm just saying it just seems interesting. But um it's very compelling to see what they are talking about. Now, super fast before we get into it, if you're new here or if you've not done so, please consider subscribing. 100% free. All right. Anyway, so I have this article here. Let's put this up on the screen right here, right now. Feel free to read through the details on this and let me explain exactly what's going on.
All right, so Bernie Sanders, go to Bernie Sanders, right? No one other than that calling on people to get just piles of money, which is pretty interesting.
All right. Anyway, so Bernie Sanders is going on tour all around the country and he is suggesting and gaining support for this distribution of upwards of $12,000 uh to certain households and families.
Now, when I say certain households and families, don't think, "Oh man, they're going to leave me out again." Don't worry about that. Okay, let me explain the details on this. Now, is it $12,000 per person? No. in this suggestion here as it's shown in the article. Upwards of $12,000 for a family of four. A family of four. Okay. But here's what it is.
$3,000 per individual. $3,000 for an individual. So if you're an individual, obviously $3,000. If you're married, $6,000. $3,000 per person. If you have a household of four individuals, upwards of $12,000.
Now, is it just a, you know, a free handout, whatever? No. no qualification needed, things like that. Not necessarily. It's actually super easy to be eligible for this based on how Bernie Sanders has written this out, which by the way, the name of the legislation that he is um promoting here is called Make Billionaires Pay Their Fair Share Act. Again, make billionaires pay their fair share act. Okay? They basically institute a 5% annual wealth tax on all the billionaires in the United States, which there's almost a thousand of them.
Um but either way, each of these individuals would have to pay basically a 5% tax to the federal government based on their wealth per year. And um they would take that money and do a whole bunch of things with it. But so one of the things would be distributed hundreds of billions of dollars in the form of this oneoff payment to individuals, couples, and families. Okay. Anyway, the $3,000 per individual. Now, let me share with you really quickly the income threshold that he has identified. I think it's a pretty high income threshold. Let me be fair with you.
$150, excuse me, $150, sorry, $150,000, not $150.
That'd be ridiculous. $150,000 is the income threshold that he has put in place. So, basically, he's saying this. If your income as an individual, as a couple, as a married uh couple, as a household, whatever it happens to be, is less than $150,000, that's what they would use as the line in the sand to determine if someone or a household is eligible for that. Now, to be fair with you, that encompasses a lot of households, like the majority of households would be encompassed within that. Okay? So, anyway, that's what he is suggesting as far as eligibility. So, just think of it this way. If your income, whatever your income comes from, it does not matter. Okay? And again, I know there's a lot of people in the community here that watch these videos that receive Social Security or any type of benefit administered by Social Security. That's your income. Okay? I don't know why, but there's a lot of people out there that don't think Social Security is income. That's your income.
That is totally your income. It's your income. Anyway, whatever income that you have coming to you, money that comes to you, provided it's less than 150 grand that you would potentially report to the uh to the federal government in the event of filing a tax return or whatever it happens to be. If you were to come forward and say, uh, you know, report all your income, if provided all of it added up in any given year is less than 150, that's what Bernie Sanders is saying. You get a check and you get a check and you get a deposit and you get a deposit and you get a check. That's what Bernie Sanders is suggesting. Okay.
Less than $150,000 would make somebody eligible. Now, have they passed it yet? Nope. Haven't passed it yet. But this is one of those that's out there along with multiple other piece of legislation that have been introduced so far this year where they want to distribute money uh to millions and millions of households uh in the form of all kinds of different plans that they have out there. Some are refund payments because of the tariffs that we've all paid on. Some of them are rebates, as in, you know, just a one-off payment through the form of a rebate. In this case, I'm not really sure what Bernie Sanders is calling it. It's not really a refund. It's not a rebate.
Maybe a profit share or something. Uh I don't know what Bernie Sanders is calling it as far as the specific type of payment that he's saying, but either way, that's what this is. Is basically just like a wealth share, a profit share, uh um whatever else Bernie Sanders wants to say, but that's what this is all about. Okay. Either way, just want to bring this to your attention so you can see what's going on, what they are suggesting. And Bernie Sanders is literally going on tour around the country. Literally like a like a musician or like a uh an an artist of some kind, right? Going on tour around the country getting support and uh promoting this plan. Okay. So anyway, I would think I'm just going to be fair. I would think during a year of affordability and during a year like this when people are struggling massively, you know, in a financial way, I would think that there's probably a lot of people out there that are supporting some type of idea like this. Anyway, drop your comment down below. Leave a comment. Let me know what do you think about this. Do you think this is good? Do you support this type of idea? Do you think it's totally ridiculous what Bernie Sanders is suggesting? I don't know. I'm not here to tell you what to think or what to believe. I'm just saying I'd love to read what you think on this to get a consensus across the community, what people are feeling about this plan out of Bernie Sanders. Anyway, this what he's talking about. Let's see if it has any uh traction, if he gets anywhere with it. We will see, but it does have support from a couple different lawmakers who are talking about it, not only in the Senate, which is Bernie Sanders, and also in the House of Representatives. I'll certainly keep you posted on it.
