Stroudwater restoration project update 30/4/26

[00:00:14]We're back down at Eastington, down at the Cotswold Canals.

[00:00:17]And we're just going to have a look at the progress we've made this last couple of weeks.

[00:00:20]So, there's Dock Lock.

[00:00:22]I know yesterday I took the drone up yesterday rather than today.

[00:00:26]And a lot of the scaffolding has now been removed.

[00:00:29]And a lot of the planks, you'll see in a minute with the footage.

[00:00:33]But, it's a beautiful day down here on the Stroudwater.

[00:00:42]That duck. Hey.

[00:00:46]You got it made.

[00:00:56]Still a full-on construction site at the minute.

[00:01:01]The view looking into Dock Lock, it should look amazing.

[00:01:13]So, I'm aware there is one or two teething troubles with certain things, so that's why the water's out at the minute.

[00:01:23]I am certain that it will be filling up again soon, but at the minute she's empty.

[00:01:34]But, work is ongoing.

[00:01:47]Obviously something going on in there.

[00:01:50]And they can't do it with water in there.

[00:01:53]So, I'm not sure what it is, but there you go.

[00:02:07]Looks like the two paths going to be extended round here.

[00:02:39]So, that's pretty much it for today.
