[00:00:09]Why my people of Trinidad and Tobago on an issue where and you know the dog love information, research, facts, evidence, science and then I just come to talk. You notice when I talk I just talk confidently. I talk loud.

But I listening and I listening and I hearing and I seeing opinions, strong opinions from all kind of people. And I can tell you I reading everything. I check in everything. I looking at every statement made and I have no opinion yet because I don't know because I don't have all the information. There are many many many questions but no justice no peace. What does that mean?

[00:01:15]In any situation, when you reach to protest and shout and go no justice, no peace is when there is evidence that the process the independent process in a in a country that believes in democracy that has separation of powers. When that process has been usurped, when there's conflicts of interest, when independent institutions are not allowed to function, when pressure has been brought to bear, when an inordinate amount of time has passed and nothing goes on and the judiciary is not functioning and the court the case doesn't isn't called and witnesses don't come forward. When you see those kind of things like what happened in Venezuela when Maduro started from 2015 by 2018 he had usurp the authority of the Supreme Court thrown out all the independent justices and put in his friend family sister-in-law brother-in-law and so on.

He he took the National Assembly, took away their power from them and put all the power in his hands and then he started to be a dictator, corrupt narot terrorist. That's when you start to scream, "No justice, no peace." But here in Trinidad and Tobago, there's a situation. An investigation is ongoing.

[00:02:49]The process is moving forward. The office of the DPP has not been compromised in any form or fashion by anyone like some of the other institutions like the office of the president where the PNM put a PNM president who preaches the gospel of the PNM or where the integrity commission had been had been thwarted and the chairman removed and the neighbor of Bridget Annie said George was put there and so the the usurpation of the police service commission by Rowley and Paula May Weeks where he went and intercepted a merit list. The president called Bliss Cersan who was on a PNM board gave her instructions at the Tea Party to withdraw list. The the police service commission collapse the country was without a commission of police. That was interference. That is no justice, no peace.

[00:03:45]I'm not seeing that yet. I seeing the process going now. The process don't go fast. We know that but it's ongoing and not one person can say that this independence institution of the DPP has been compromised. You some people say well the police make up evidence and oh all of that comes out through a process.

[00:04:10]Furthermore this kind of politicization of the police. The police is a independent institution at the UNCC Roger Alexander whoever not in charge of the police. Politicians can't instruct the police on what to do, how to do, where to do, what to go. So the the kind of conflration of of of independent institution had to be madness. Now would the government want the police to handle it? Of course, because the government creates the policy, the anti-rime initiatives and so on. But the only ones who could literally grab and hold on to crime and choke it is the police.

[00:05:01]So, I'm not understanding where all the politics coming in. Look, I'm a politician and I have no opinion on the situation yet. I've read every I think I read more than all you. I watch that video more than all you. I watch that video about 300 times. I watch other videos. I read articles. I read statements. I read statements from lawyers and everything. And in my mind, there are about 50 60 questions. But these questions come out in the court when the prosecution will present its case through the DPP and then the DPP attorneys. The evidence will be pro will be presented. The defense will have an opportunity to look at it, scrutinize it, research, cross-examine witnesses, put in statements and a judge, judges, magistrate will listen and the magistrate and them a have no preconceived notion and no conclusion.
