How much rain will Arthur bring across the deep south

[00:00:00]Okay, so I had uh talked about Arthur earlier in the previous video. Let's talk about rainfall amounts and uh you know, you look at this map here and you see just kind of a big bull's-eye as this area of low pressure. It'll ultimately not be a tropical storm much longer once it interacts with land and moves over land and extra-tropical kind of a hybrid low that's going to uh move through creating its own essential frontal system and a tropical tail that will swing through our area, but you see who's going to get the most rainfall.

[00:00:27]So, from Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, mid-Georgia, you know, there's some flood certainly some flood potential with more than 10 inches of rain falling in in a short amount of time. Some areas getting up to 20 inches of rain. Not for us, okay? So, our forecast essentially remains the same with those afternoon showers and thunderstorms as we kind of look at Northeast Florida, Southeast Georgia over the next 7 days rainfall estimates in that 1 and 1/2 to 2 and 1/2 inch range. Not really tropically enhanced um rainfall amounts. Kind of your typical afternoon showers and thunderstorms that we'll continue to watch for. Though, maybe get a little more rain coming through the Friday afternoon for more people. So, something to watch, something to monitor.
