Added:[music] [music] Searching for something [music] that [singing] ain't lost.
Have we got our [music] lines crossed?
We're [singing] wasting time on stuff that doesn't really matter while wishing for something [music] better. [singing] I try to fix things that weren't [music and singing] broken.
Misunderandings and words [music] unspoken.
We fall apart. [singing] And I [music] won't dare to say.
Do you feel the same [music and singing] way?
Maybe you don't want to know, but you don't [music] see what you have in front [singing] of you. Or maybe I'm not enough for you.
[music and singing] So maybe I should go. If I had known from the start, this wouldn't have ended with broken [music and singing] hearts. Cuz I don't want to waste my time.
>> [music] >> Welcome and welcome back to another video guys. Just finishing the gym, going on my walk, hitting this beautiful trail right here. So those were just some images of Northwestern Polytenic, which is the college here in Grand Prairie, Alberta. This is the college that I went to when I landed in Canada.
At the time it was Grand Prairie Regional College. Now it's called Northwestern Poly Technic. It's crazy landing in 2019. Everything felt so strange. Everything felt so new right now. Everything is familiar. I know the college inside out. Um yeah, it's like my stamping bro now. So everything always come back to a lesson. Everything is new when you do it for the first time, right? So if it's the gym, all you need to do is to start. If it's school, all you need to do is start. and then it's going to feel a little bit new at first, but eventually [music] consistency you'll be able to crush it, right? So, take that as my opening advice in this vlog right now. So, I started to go back to the college gym, guys, because the gym that I I used to go to, I decided to cancel my membership there because I don't know if it's only me, >> but I hate when people turn gym into a social [music] club. And it's probably my antisocial speaking.
my antisocial behavior or tendency speaking here but I hate going to the gym and like everyone is just there to socialize and not to work out. So because of that depending on the time when they go there the equipments are being occupied. There's no level of punctuality in terms of not punctuality but urgency in using the equipments and understanding that other persons are you know in the gym to work out. So every most persons there is like they are longtime members in that gym. It's a pretty small gym. So they just chitchat and if you only have an hour to work out, you find yourself in an hour in that gym and barely doing anything. So I decided to come back to my old stomping ground even though it's on the other side of town. Takes me about 10 minutes to get here, but I prefer to drive that 10 minutes, right? And because I'm not in their social club, when I'm there working out, it makes me feel a little bit uncomfortable. So I'm like, you know what? Go back to where I'm familiar and like everybody's good with me and I'm good with them. So that's that. And again, another lesson is go where you are celebrated and not where you are tolerated. And you have free will to make the decision to just get up and change your environment if your environment makes you uncomfortable.
It's not about being right or wrong.
It's about just doing what's best for you, right? And what makes you feel better and what's best for your mental health. As petty or as small as it might sound, do what's best for you. Look at this beautiful trail, man. So, it's now Saturday morning here and the time is now 11:45 a.m. I got a late start this morning, but I finished my workout already. So, I usually end with a 30 to 45 minute walk. So sometimes when it's nice out, I just nice like to go outside, hit the trail and just give a walk rather than just walking on the treadmill. So that's what I'm doing right now, guys. See, Canada is not always cold. It's not always white and depressing. Sometimes it's green and beautiful, even if it's only for a short time. So when it's here, you have to go outside. So, if you're in Canada and it's nice outside, what are you doing inside? Pick up yourself and go outside, man. Go for a walk. Go for a jog. Just you want to get some vitamin D into your system cuz it's scarce in these parts. Hello. Good morning.
Another thing, yesterday was Malika's birthday. Malika is now 9 years old and I cannot believe how quickly this kid is growing.
Seems like just yesterday she was born.
Now she's 9 years old. That's crazy. So I want you guys to just drop some happy birthday to Malika down in the comment section. We had a little small thing for her. Just us as family. Take her to watch a movie. She really loved it. Then um got her a cake. Um she got she got a game for her birthday. She like um she love video games. So every time I bring her over, my brother and sister-in-law, she always loves playing the game over there. So, she got um a PS4 for her birthday. So, she absolutely loved it.
And yeah, we just hung out as a family.
I didn't decide to do a vlog or anything like that because sometimes it's very important to just remain present, especially those moments. So, that was the key. Hello. That was the key. So, that's what it was yesterday. But, I'll drop a few clips here just so you guys can see what that looked like.
[music] >> [music] [music] >> to you. [singing and music] Happy birthday to you.
Happy birthday, [singing] dear Ma.
Happy birthday to you.

That's what the college residents look like. All of these are the college residents. So, if you're coming to this college and you need housing, let me stop walking. That's what the housing looks like. So, you have um single occupancy, a few family units. So, if you're coming as a family, you have a few a few family units. Um, otherwise it's a lot of shared space. So, I think it's four students per space, but I might be wrong. It's been a while. Yeah.
So, I'm going to take Malia to the cat cafe today. You know, a little cafe where she can go and play with cats cuz I don't want any pets at home other than some fishes that we have. So, she love cats and stuff like that. So, going to take her to a cat cafe where she can get to play with some cats and spend some time. And then after that, we're going to go to supertore, get a few knickknacks. It's time to stock up back on some groceries. So, we're going to um include that in this vlog as well.
