[00:00:00]In Anambra State, a former chairman of Obar Local Government Transition Committee has emerged as a candidate of All Progressives Congress for House of Representatives in Obar Federal Constituency. The exercise took place at the Odekpe Primary School and was conducted under option A4 party primaries.

[00:00:18]At least at the last count, Awogu scored 656 votes to defeat his rival Ikem Sam who pulled 18 votes.

[00:00:27]Arinze Awogu previously contested for the same House of Representatives seat under the All Progressives Grand Alliance.
