Megyn Kelly Breaks Down EXACTLY Why Thomas Massie Lost in Kentucky: "Opposition" to Trump

[00:00:00]There was a very interesting exchange with Thomas Massie at one of his late rallies.

[00:00:04]I think it might have been the day before the vote. Where one of the gentlemen who attended stood up and really gave him a hard time about the fact that he's not backing the president and he wants somebody who's going to back the president's agenda. And I think Massie was kind of like, what if the agenda isn't even what President Trump promised, right? Like on Iran or arguably Epstein.

[00:00:26]And this gentleman seemed to want deference to the president. You know, even if it didn't like he was basically trying to convince Massie that the president knows more than Massie knows.

[00:00:36]And that literally is true when it comes to something like Iran given his position as the commander-in-chief and the classified briefings he gets. Though it doesn't mean you can't oppose the Iran war just because you don't have all the same info.

[00:00:47]Um but I do think that's that was the frustration because as I mentioned it was thing after thing after thing.

[00:00:54]So it's like I think Kentucky vo- voters may have given Massie a pass on one thing or two things cuz he all along he's been not big on spending us into debt.

[00:01:04]Um and he's had like a couple of core issues and he's been reelected so many times. I think it was when he he just continuously started challenging the president and started to look more like part of the opposition that Kentucky voters said no.
