[00:00:00]Well, new CNN polling out today shows those same promises could put Republicans at a disadvantage come November. Just 30% of those polled approve of the president's handling of the economy, a 14% drop from March of last year. And take a look at this. 73% of Americans call current economic conditions poor. Worries about the higher cost of gas are particularly prominent. Trump is underwater with his own party on on his handling of gas prices. Just 48% approval. Independence just 15%.

[00:00:35]And when it comes to inflation, Trump is doing relatively well within his own party. 60% of Republicans approve of what he's doing to curb prices, but fewer than 20% of independents agree and only 2% of Democrats. Conversely, a staggering 77% of those polled say that Trump's prices, or rather his policies, have increased prices, everything, the cost of living.
