[00:00:09]It's protection. You hear me? It's protection because at this stage in life, you realize something most people ignore.

[00:00:18]Your energy is limited and your peace is valuable. So when I choose silence, when I choose my space, it's not fear, it's discipline. So let's talk about it because introverts get misunderstood. People think just because you're quiet, all of a sudden you're shy. And that's not the case. They think just because you're distance because you don't like people. And it's not that's not true either because many people love people. They're people pleasing. But at this stage in life, you're reserved because something's wrong with today's society. But what they don't see is this.

[00:00:58]You've experienced enough in your life to know what drains you, right? Small talk with no substance or the individuals that's over 45, they don't have time to be wasting on small talk.

[00:01:11]Keep that [ __ ] to yourself. And that's why people keep small talk out of their life all together because there's conversations that just don't go nowhere. People who bring noise instead of value. And that [ __ ] right there alone cost you energy. And let's break this [ __ ] down. When you were younger, right?

[00:01:30]You would entertain everything. And I mean everything, right? You stay in conversations way too long. You're on the phone late night letting somebody just talk about their problems, raping you in your ear, and you just sit there and continue the conversation. Ain't nobody saying [ __ ] right? You go along just to be polite, just to be people pleasing, right? And you know on our channel, them people pleasing days are over. You tolerate environments that just don't feel right. But over time, you start noticing the effect. You leave interactions feeling drained, and I mean drained. All that [ __ ] stress, chaos, right? You feel mentally tired and you feel disconnected. And that's when the shift happened. You stop [ __ ] performing for all these toxic vampires out there. So let me ask you something real. Do you feel more like yourself in silence or in most conversations? I feel like myself when I don't have no one around.

[00:02:26]And that's why I'm protecting my peace and my time and energy to the fullest.

And keep it real cuz here's where people get it wrong. When you stop engaging like you used to, they quick to label you. You're too quiet. Oh, you don't talk too much.

I just stopped wasting my energy. That's it. It's nothing more, nothing less because now I understand not every conversation today deserves my presence. So let's go deeper. Introverts at this stage isn't personality. It's awareness and it's discipline. You're choosing silence over loud-ass noise and chaos. You're choosing death over surface. And you're choosing peace over performance. See, a lot of y'all be thinking y'all performing, but you're taking away my peace. So keep that performance to the next man or woman cuz I don't want to hear that [ __ ] no more because you've seen what happens when you don't, right? You overextend yourself. You're always overlistening and you're always being a overgiver, right? And guess what? That [ __ ] cost you. That [ __ ] cost you big time. So now what people are doing, you're protecting your emotional energy. Right? So let's land this plane. This isn't about shutting people the [ __ ] out. This is about being intentional, right? Because real conversations, they don't drain you. You can talk and you say it's a different type of energy that you have. Real people won't exhaust you. You want to be around real people.

[00:04:15]So when something feels off, you already know. It's that gut instinct that we talked about. You don't force that [ __ ] anymore. You step the [ __ ] back without explanation. No explaining, access denied, and cut them [ __ ] off the list. Point blank in the discussion.

[00:04:31]So here's the truth. At 54, being an introvert isn't weakness. It's called self-awareness. It's knowing when to engage, when to withdraw, and when to protect your peace to the fullest. And once you understand that, you stop apologizing for your silence because I'm 54 and I don't just talk just to fill space anymore. Them days is over. I don't engage just to be seen. I'd rather be seen looking at myself than being seen by a bunch of toxic vampires. I don't perform just to make others comfortable because I already felt what it what comes with that. Nothing but exhaustion, stress, and unwanted necessary energy that I don't need in my life. I've been in conversations that meant absolutely nothing in rooms that felt off, around people that drained more than they gave. And I paid attention. So now I move different. And a lot of [ __ ] don't like it, and that's fine. I choose silence when it feels right. I step back when something just doesn't feel off. And I'm going to protect my goddamn energy to the fullest. And it's not because I'm shy, ladies and gentlemen, but because I'm aware. Because peace is something I don't hope for. It's something that I protect. And not everybody gets access to that, right? Because I'm tired of hearing that all anybody that's a introvert or anybody that's in the they they they always got something negative to say because people like toxic environments. But at at over 45, you outgrow that [ __ ] And that's real talk.

[00:06:13]You get tired of it because at this stage in life, clarity replaces all that loud noise. We all been young before. We used to go to the clubs, the bars, going out with toxic friends, just draining you of your energy for many, many years. And at this stage in life, you don't just want to talk. You just don't want to engage just to fit in. And you don't want to perform just to be accepted because you understand something most people overlook. Your energy and time is limited. And once you respect that, ladies and gentlemen, you're going to move different. You're going to be quiet. You're going to move intentional.

[00:06:51]And you're going to be unbothered. So no matter what it is that you're going out there, protect your peace to the fullest and don't give these [ __ ] your time and energy. Protect your peace to the fullest, and that's real talk.
