Database indexing works like a dictionary's alphabetical organization, where instead of randomly searching through all records, you can jump directly to the relevant section (like the 'B' section for 'ball'), dramatically reducing the search space and improving query performance.

Why Database Indexes Make Your App Faster追加:
In just a minute, let's learn something new in programming. Of course, this is back in in a minute. Let's talk indexing.
You have a dictionary and you want to search for the word um let's say ball.
Instead of moving from A, randomly searching, flipping pages in a dictionary, you can simply move to the B section of a dictionary and proceed from there. Once you do so, it prevents you from searching through other 25 letters. Do you have 25? I'm going to have 25 letters.
So, it makes your search space much smaller as compared to randomly searching through and flipping pages just to search for ball. This is how indexing works. So, you can index In the case of database, you can index the first thousand people or the first 2,000 people with their IDs. So, once you get the name of a person, instead of randomly searching through the database, when you have an index, you can identify the index the person is found and simply start searching from there. This is back in a minute.
