Understanding weather patterns is essential for outdoor survival and agricultural planning, as rapid temperature changes (such as drops of 20-30°F within minutes) and precipitation events require immediate adaptation strategies, including securing outdoor structures and adjusting planting schedules to protect crops like peanuts and tomatoes from hail damage.

We Got RIPPED OFF!!!!Added:
Hello Americans other friends, subscribers around the world.
My hand, man.
Back out in the creek bottom.
Wind still blowing.
Blew uh It's really been blowing for about 3 days.
You know, right now I don't know what they are, probably probably 25 mph, 20 mph. I could look, but then we've been last night, man, we were getting gusts. It was I was afraid it was going to take out some cottonwoods. It was blowing good last night.
So, let's see what today will bring.
I don't see any trails up there.
So, now what I need to do is all them poles that I got there.
You know, building poles what they are, like teepee poles.
And now why why I piled those in front of the entrance or door I will never know.
But now I need to move those over.
So, so I can get in the entrance.
Sometimes do you ever ask yourself sometimes Mhm, why why I did that?
That ought to be fun.
Listen, we need to move all this other building material. Man, now the sun comes out. It's about 150 out here.
Have you ever noticed how much hotter the sun is than it used to be?
You know when it's white?
We talked about this before. Used to be yellow.
Look at all the pictures.
You know, that as kids or if you remember drawing pictures, you know, in school, elementary school and stuff.
When you draw the sun and you'd always draw it yellow.
That mother ain't yellow no more.
Mhm.
Remember that? That was the Janet's wave.
Remember that?
That was Janet the Janet's wave.
That was Janet's >> You you were too loud.
>> Yeah, I know, but that was what Janet's and she was always that was her uh her whatever wave.
Need help?
>> Yeah.
>> You?
>> I'm going to just leave it now.
>> Put that rope around it. At the time Miss Kitty was parking a car right here and the last thing I wanted was some of these big winds blow down and uh all of them fall on her car. That was I'd never hear the end of that.
Well, I'll tell you what.
Hear the airplane right now, but uh keep hearing the thunder roaring from that side. I see rain in the distance.
They're saying rain all day today.
And now it's pretty dang hot, but uh I got this about to change.
Also, I got the rope off this. I'm going to start pulling these over so that I can get in that.
Let's see if we can beat that uh beat that storm coming.
It's coming pretty fast.
So, this is just in minutes after that last little segment or whatever I did. Look, I just went in for just a minute and came back out to start doing these poles. I haven't even started doing them. That's how how quick it was. Well, you can see right there. There's the the part where I was just out here.
And then just minutes later, here she comes.
And it's probably uh I'd say it's at least 10° cooler, man, as soon as that white sun went away. Now you can see that line across there. It's pretty crazy.
I think it's going to rain here in well, maybe just a few more minutes.
I'm going to move some poles.
All right, got it clear, but uh wind's picked up quite a bit.
So, I got the plywood, but I think I'm going to just uh leave it for right now because makes a breeze way out of that. So, then I'll I might get rain and crap blowing in there.
Cotton.
And I was moving all these, of course there was cotton underneath there, so it start blowing up.
That That That was pretty dang fun.
Well, I don't know.
I was going to go in and get the drill and take them down, but I think I might just leave it for now.
It's getting getting close to the end of the day anyway, and then tomorrow we're running down for some supplies down in the flatlands, so we'll go down and check out prices, you know, I keep hearing all this and I've seen things go up, some go up, but some of the stuff I've shared, I haven't seen seen that. Not saying that it ain't true, it just haven't seen it here.
So, it's different all over the country, man, at line. It's actually moving kind of slow.
Slower than it felt like.
Ah, smells good, though.
No sooner did I walk in with the drill and this started.
And then we just got a call south of us and they're getting quarter-size hail down there.
So, should be coming.
Coming down.
No uh quarter-size hail yet. Lot of rain, actually good for my trees, my garden.
I don't think quarter-size hail would be too much too good for my uh tomato and pepper plants, though.
Uh dropped 20°, pretty nice out here right now.
A little soggy.
Yep.
Nothing like living under a tin roof Good morning.
So, this is actually uh I think 2 days after I started this video.
Yesterday went down to the flatlands to get supplies and groceries and that kind of stuff.
And then we ended up I think we we got up at 3:00 in the morning, left by 5:00 and didn't get home till about 2:00, I think. Man, it was a It was a long day.
Got a bunch of supplies.
Went to uh uh Walmart. We don't buy too many groceries at Walmart, but went to Walmart and then to Weirmart and then over to the what I call the canned food warehouse. That's what it was called when I was a kid, but it's uh grocery outlet.
And that uh got a quite a bit of stuff in there.
Today it looks uh Mhm. Not a Not a trail in the sky yet. Man, we had We had so much dang rain and the wind, man. The wind has been just a killer.
So, I didn't open this up, but I'm going to getting ready to open this up this morning. I'm going to unload this.
And then get everything lined up. I'm either going to fire up the the big splitter there or the smaller one.
Or the smaller one and I'm going to go in this door, start stacking wood. We're going back up for more wood and uh day or two and it's going to be kind of a busy week.
Got all kinds of all kinds of things to do this week, man.
Oh man.
Hey.
>> Hey.
>> You ever have one of those days where your hands and things just don't work right?
And you're just like, "What the heck?"
Hey man.
Already starting to warm up.
This These were also pieces I found up on the mountain.
Build something. Man, get rid of this red can. Use it.
All right. That's Now I'm going to have to move the move the e-bike. Got to do some organizing in there. Still got my solar panel stuff set up in there.
Get it situated. All right. Start uh start cleaning some wood.
Hey.
You're very cute over there, Miss Kitty.
What's that? One of four sweatshirts?
>> Yes.
>> Just so people on video know that you don't wear the same stuff. You just have multiple.
>> Correct.
>> She don't believe in buying just one garment.
Got to have at least four of the same.
All right. Thought I'd go ahead and fool you.
Little bit of this all right now.
Just a split.
Split stuff and then some around span.
Like that good overnighters.
So, this is pretty exciting, ain't it?
This This is what I'm doing today and this morning.
Doing this.
Got to get some videos edited. Some air. Actually do some burning.
I'm taking a load off here for a minute.
I getting poked in the face by that.
Hey, that's my mother, isn't it?
Well, it's nice in the shade, but skies are crystal clear.
They were calling for rain today, but maybe it's going to be after night afternoon uh showers. It was up to 94 yesterday.
Pretty sure that I got some on video when it was raining everything and it was like 94° and it was clear and hot, man. That white sun.
And then uh within minutes changed and I don't know if I showed it on the video or not, but uh last time that looked at the thermometer, it went from 94 down to 61.
Man, it Yeah, I don't know for how long, but minutes.
Maybe up to 30 minutes.
It was fast.
It was nice. I love that.
That's that uh Those are uh 4 by 4 or actually it's probably 4 by 6 pressure treated wood, and then there's this big bench thing. I'm going to set it up around my fire.
Set it up around my fire area.
Here cuz I don't know whether I'm going to use the big splitter.
Actually, I haven't even tried to fire it up, man, so hopefully I don't run into the same problem with it. I still haven't got back to getting that my chipper. I need to get that chipper.
I'm going to work on the planting today.
And I'm doing this right now, man, cuz we're in the shade. That's It's going to I think it's going to be pretty warm today, at least for a while.
And but I have uh I got to fill another bin, you know, or a big planter barrel thing.
Got to uh fill it up with some more dirt, but I have one full and we're planting peanuts. We got two varieties of peanuts we're going to try to grow.
I've never grown peanuts.
And I'll put them in the containers, so that way if we run out of time you know, as they're growing we can get a hand cart and haul them inside.
Unless I have a greenhouse that I can put them in there.
I just got some uh Ooh, look at that, man.
The spikes.
Some uh uh news this morning.
I actually feel like I got robbed.
But let's go back a few years.
Before COVID time.
Back then uh you know, Berkay and Kevin, I think, have been married for 4 years.
Been together for about 5 years.
And uh before Berkay his wife, you know.
Before her, he was seeing somebody.
They actually lived together. Man, I don't know how long.
Six or eight months, maybe. Lived together down down the flatlands.
And anyway I'm going to get all into the meat and potatoes of it all because it's really nobody's business other than this part that I'm going to tell you.
So anyway so the years go on, man, Kevin ends up coming back up here and spending uh COVID. He actually got COVID.
Got tested and had COVID.
Anyway, all that.
Was here for I don't know how long.
A while.
And anyway, man, this girlfriend that he had before Berkay you know, they broke up.
She went on her way, he went on his way, life goes on as it does.
And about uh Hmm.
I don't know how long ago it was. I could look on my phone.
A few months ago, I guess.
I don't know when that was.
Maybe 6 months.
Anyway, a few months ago. I can't remember.
I get this message.
A Facebook message. I don't do Facebook, man. I'm You know, I have a mountain man side over there that I do Facebook, but other than that, I really don't do Facebook all that much. But every once in a while, I might check in.
Whatever. Not much care for Facebook.
Anyway, I get this message. It's private message from uh Kevin's old or his ex-girlfriend, you know, ex-girlfriend from 5 or 6 years before.
>> [snorts] >> And I get this message that uh that she had a baby.
And the baby was Kevin's.
I was like, "What? What What What are you What are you talking about?"
You know nothing of that.
So, and I like forward the message over to Kevin D. He's all, "I ain't got no messages or whatever."
So, anyway, man, he checks into stuff, whatever, [snorts] and finds out, and then uh all of a sudden you know, however long ago I guess this was all I guess it was probably uh November, December.
And uh you know, so we're talking five or six years, you know, later.
And gets this message or Kevin gets her, hold them, or whatever.
What what is going on?
You know, what are you talking about?
And claims that this little boy is Kevin's.
And he said, "Well, I need to get a paternity test or something, man. What What's going on, man?" And and the mother had sent me pictures and stuff, you know, and you know, that the the girl had another boyfriend, all that kind of other boyfriend kind of looked like KVD, and he ended up pass away from a drug overdose or something.
All this drama, dude. And anyway, um so Kevin goes in, I think here two or three weeks ago, for a paternity test.
And late last night gets the results of this paternity test.
And he now has a kid a son, a five-year-old son.
I have a five-year-old grandson that I've never met.
I feel completely robbed.
That is uh Miss Kitty's almost devastated. It's, you know man me I'm devastated now.
That's heartbreaking that I would have a grandson for the last 5 years that I didn't even know that's the same you know that's a little younger than Tevin.
So wow.
So now now I don't know what happens man he's got to got to go to the thing and man they're they're in the process of doing a bunch of life-changing stuff and moving and new jobs and man breaks my heart for breaks my heart for my grandson.
Breaks my heart for for K and KB D.
And I feel uh I don't know if betrayed or uh robbed man I feel like the mother ripped me off for the last 5 years.
What in the hell?
So that's where I'm at now so I think this video's now over so that I can concept this.
But uh that's absolutely nuts.
God willing them creeks don't rise.
We'll be back again tomorrow.
See you.
