It was the first airport in the country to have a public art program, but that's not the only thing that sets it apart. It's also one of the busiest passenger airports in the nation, handling more than 52.6 million passengers in 2024. It has three runways, one main terminal, and six concourses. From here, nonstop flights depart to 127 destinations, making it one of the most important airports on the West Coast. This is Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, SEA, the airport that keeps Washington connected to the world. Because of what it represents to aviation, to Washington, and to all of us who've passed through its terminals, we turned SEA into a piece of art you can carry with you. It's shaped like the state of Washington, features the main terminal window facade, and includes the airport code SEA as part of the design.
