Aircraft wings generate lift through two simultaneous physical principles: Bernoulli's principle, where the curved top surface of the airfoil causes air to travel faster and create low pressure that pulls the wing upward, and Newton's third law, where the wing deflects air downward and the air reacts by pushing the wing upward. This dual mechanism allows aircraft to achieve flight despite their massive weight.

The miracle of flight:Anatomy of liftAñadido:
The anatomy of flight. So, how do we actually achieve this impossible balance? We really have to look closely at the physical structure that makes this entire endeavor possible, the seemingly impossible dual physics of the wing. The absolute secret lies in a specialized shape called the airfoil.
From the early kind of rudimentary wind tunnel experiments of the Wright brothers way back in 1901, all the way to the insane aerodynamic models rendered by modern supercomputers, the airfoil has been meticulously designed with a top surface that is more curved than its bottom. It isn't just some flat piece of metal. It's a highly engineered tool crafted specifically to manipulate the fluid dynamics of the air it slices through. What we're looking at here are two simultaneous principles that manipulate classical physics to push our aircraft up into the sky. On one hand, we've got Bernoulli's principle. Because of that curve we just talked about, air actually travels faster over the top of the wing, and that creates a zone of low pressure. It's essentially a vacuum pulling the plane up. But simultaneously, Newton's third law dictates that as the wing violently deflects air downward, the air reacts by pushing the wing upward. So, you have vacuum and pressure working together in this brilliant harmony.
