Officially announced this morning, those fares are going from $80 down to $20. Simply put, the supply of those seats are going up thanks to the use of these yellow buses. On non-school days, there will be 18,000 seats available and on school days, 12,000. It seems to be a multi-state effort to get these prices reduced across the board.

And this also comes as NJ Transit train tickets were reduced yesterday down from their original $150 price tag to the still pricey $98.
