[00:00:00]Yesterday, FBI Director Cash Patel was testifying in the Senate and Chris Van Holland, the guy that we're told is going to be the new majority leader as soon as Democrats finally get rid of Chuck Schumer. Well, Chris Van Holland decided to challenge Cash Patel on a bunch of fake news on completely anonymous, unsourced, and unsubstantiated charges made by The Atlantic against Cash Patel. Chris Van Holland didn't want to get to the truth.

[00:00:24]Chris Van Holland didn't want to get straight answers. Chris Van Holland did not want facts in this hearing. He had one goal and one goal only, which was to use his time and use the congressional record to slime, defame, and slander Cash Patel.

[00:01:53]All right, now back to the video. The good news is Cash Patel was ready. Cash Patel fought back. As I said in my opening remarks, I I really don't care about your personal life so long as you are able to perform your public and official responsibilities, which are awesome responsibilities.

[00:02:14]Multiple reports, including reporting by The Atlantic, have alleged episodes of excessive drinking, unexplained absences, and behavior that concerned current and former FBI and DOJ officials. You have publicly denied those allegations and filed a defamation lawsuit. So today, as you testify before Congress, is it your testimony that those allegations are categorically false?

[00:02:39]>> Unequivocally categorically false.

[00:02:41]>> All right. So that should be the end of it, right? All right. Thank you. I appreciate it. Let's move on to the next topic. Talk to me about homicides. Talk to me about drug trafficking. Talk to me about what? No, no, no. So, he said, "These charges have been made against you in these publications, including The Atlantic. Are they false?" Cash doesn't get more unequivocal than that.

[00:03:01]Absolutely. Categorically, these charges are false. That should be it. Now watch what Chris Van Holland does because now he uses his time to go through and articulate every single one of the charges making Cash Patel deny each and every one of them. This is Chris Van Holland's sole goal here. The sole purpose of this is to defame Cash Patel and to get these charges into the congressional record and get them on television and get and but the difference is we don't mind showing them to you because we're going to show you Cash Patel fighting back as well. He should because if I were accused of this by a weasel like Chris Van Holland, I would be spitting mad too and I would fight back. I like it when our elected officials and our politicians and our FBI directors actually show some humanity and act like normal human beings, right? And and one other weasel thing here, and yes, he's a weasel. Uh Chris Van Holland knows that because he's a senator and he makes these accusations or levies these charges while functioning as a senator in a hearing, he's immune from being sued. Funny how that works. Cash Patel is suing The Atlantic and other publications for making these claims. He is suing them for defamation. But he can't sue Chris Van Holland because he's protected. You see, Chris Van Holland enjoys a certain level of legal protection that you and I don't have.

[00:04:32]>> So, there have been no occasions during your tenure when FBI personnel were unable to promptly reach you?

[00:04:37]>> Absolutely not. You can ask my entire workforce. They hear from me at every single hour of the day, as do these great gentlemen here, as do the men and women of the inter agency and state and local law enforcement and the White House.

[00:04:47]>> And so there have been no occasions when your security detail had difficulty waking or locating you. Is that right?

[00:04:53]>> Nope. It's a total force. I don't even know where you get this stuff, but it doesn't make it credible because you say so.

[00:04:58]>> I'm not saying it, Director Patel. I I it's been written and documented.

[00:05:02]>> You are literally saying it.

[00:05:04]>> No, I'm saying that these are reports.

[00:05:06]Uh, Director Patel, >> unlike unlike baseless reports, the only person that was slinging margaritas in El Salvador on the taxpayer dollar with a convicted gangbanging rapist was you.

[00:05:16]The only person that ran up a $100,000 bar tab in Washington DC at the lobby was you. The only individual in this room drinking on taxpayer dime, director Patel, come on. These are serious allegations that were made against you.

[00:05:36]>> You drinking margaritas with a gang threw on video to show you running a $7,000 bar tab at the lobby bar has been filed by your own office. Goes to show you during the day. That's you. This is the ultimate example of hypocrisy. I will not be tarnished by baseless allegations statements from the media.

Um, are you willing to take the the the test that it's it's called the audit test that members of our active duty military and others take to determine whether they have a drinking problem?

[00:06:40]>> I'll take it. All right. I think that the fact that you're so Have you Have you ordered uh polygraph tests of members of your team to determine how that story came about?

[00:06:53]>> The FBI conducts polygraph tests all the time.

[00:06:55]>> No. Have you have you ordered polygraph tests for members of your team to determine who was the source of the stories that I'm asking you about?

[00:07:06]>> I don't order any polygraph tests.

[00:07:07]There's an internal inspection review process for any and all leaks, especially of baseless information at the FBI that's been in place for the last 30 years. Those processes are followed by career intelligence and agents on the ground.

[00:07:18]>> So, I I'll take that as a a yes since you've said that these were these were unauthorized disclosures.

[00:07:26]>> Well, I love that. Did you order a polygraph test to find out who leaked this? Well, I mean, there's standing procedure to have polygraph tests, especially when there are unauthorized leaks, and so I didn't order anything.

[00:07:38]It's just what happens at the FBI. I'll take that as a yes.

[00:07:43]Well, okay, but you'd be wrong. It wasn't a yes, cuz I didn't order anything. This is why people hate Washington DC, by the way, this kind of stuff. But I I gotta say, Cash Patel showed some incredible composure in pushing back as well. he should have and then he started to lose it a little bit because Chris Vanfallen wanted to come back and have a second bite of the apple. Uh now understand something. If if you're playing drinking card bingo here and you have on your card that anytime Chris Man Holland says that the charges that Cash Patel made against him are provably false, well, if you have to take a shot every time he says that, uh, you're about to get schnockered because he decided to use provably false, provably false, provably false, which is not really a thing. Uh, over and over and over again. And of course, well, I don't think he understands what provably false really means. But I want you to also watch Cash's uh conduct during this because it is so funny. I love it. It's such a power move that he refuses to make eye contact and he's just he's constantly shuffling his papers and futzing and fiddling because he's trying to communicate to Van Holland that he's not even worth his time or respect to even stop and listen to him. He's just finding something to do. It's hilarious how this plays out.

[00:08:59]>> So, let me let me just say this, Mr. Director. Um, in your response to me earlier where you had a little bit of a blowup, you made a couple provably false statements.

[00:09:13]>> No, I m Mr. Director, I was reading about and asking you and asking you to respond to allegations that are made. In fact, I was giving you an opportunity to do that and you took that opportunity.

[00:09:27]But in the process, you made these provably false statements that I know are sort of like urban legend in right-wing media about margaritas in El Salvador, which is provably false. And so coming from the mouth of an FBI director to make provably false statements in a hearing like this is extremely trouble. And it it leads me to ask whether or not the other things you've been saying are false statements.

[00:09:59]And so my because that was that's a provably false statement. You made a couple others that are provably false. And this is from the mouth of the FBI director.

[00:10:08]>> Provably false. Probably false. But by the way, if Chris Van Holland is concerned about provably false statements from an FBI director, he might want to look into a guy named Christopher Ray and James Comey. Yeah, we'll get to Kobe in a second. But do you notice what I mean about Cash who's constantly shuffling papers and turning the pages in his briefing book and getting his cards. He keeps hitting the microphone with his arm and it's got to be on purpose. It's fantastic. Uh we'll watch how it concludes and then we'll get into the provably false so-called alleged statement.

[00:10:37]>> My my final question to you, Mr. Director, is do you know that it is a crime to lie to Congress? You know that.

[00:10:46]>> I have not lied to Congress. I didn't ask >> that lied to Congress is you.

[00:10:53]>> Maybe the next time you run up a $7,000 bar tab, we can talk about it.

[00:11:08]>> Mr. Mr. Patel, I'm glad, let me just say in closing, Mr. Chairman, two things.

[00:11:13]I'm glad that you have agreed to take the the test regarding, you know, whether you have alcohol problems. I'm glad you agreed with me to do that. Um, you still haven't answered my final question. Do you know, Mr. Director, that it is a crime to lie to Congress?

[00:11:33]>> I do not lie to Congress.

[00:11:34]>> I didn't ask you that. You're insinuating that I am because you want >> you want to correct your time in this session where you got steamrolled by the facts so you can have a Twitter narrative to raise more money and spend more money on $7,000 just let the record the director of the FBI apparently does not want to answer the question about whether or not it's a crime to lie to Congress and I find that extremely troubling. I find it troubling that you lie to the American law enforcement day.

[00:12:04]>> You you are a disgrace, Mr. Director, and the fact that you can't answer that question. I will I will that that that concludes my questioning, Mr. Chairman, but uh I'm obviously very troubled.

[00:12:16]>> Yeah, he's very troubled. He's going to change his diaper as well. Um it's great that these Democrats are now concerned about lying to Congress. By the way, Cash Patel did not lie to Congress. Uh, number one. But number two, uh, again, James Comey, there's for Ry just for FBI directors. How about Anthony Fouchy? Oh, no. They all get auto pen pardons, don't they? Uh, Cash Patel did bring evidence to the table.

[00:12:39]So, you tell me who's lying.

[00:12:41]>> This is what real leadership looks like at the FBI. Every one of you was given it. This is what's happened under my tenure at the FBI and the Trump administration. 20 point drop in the homicide rate. 45,000 violent offenders arrested last year, twice as many as 2024. 2450 criminal gangs disrupted.

[00:12:59]That's a 322% increase from 2024. 6,900 child victims have been located since I've been in the seat. That's 144% increase. 2,900 child predators and human traffickers arrested. That's a 70% increase. And we've arrested eight of the top 10 most wanted fugitives in the world in 14 months. That's twice as many in the four years combined. That is what the men and women of the FBI are doing.

[00:13:22]Well resourced. Everyone should take a look at this. If people want to continue the baseless, fraudulent, false personal attacks at me, that's great. Keep the target on me, as I've always said. But the mission has never been better.

[00:13:34]>> Amen, brother. And that's exactly why Chris Van Holland doesn't want to talk about actually what the job of the FBI director is. That's why Chris Van Holland wants to talk about unfounded rumors passed off his journalism in the Atlantic about Cash Patel. Oh, and by the way, uh those whole things that were provably false, provably false. It's provably false that I didn't spend $7,000 in a bar. Well, this is the receipt. Lobby bar on L Street, $7,128.

[00:14:02]Now, you heard Van Holland say that wasn't taxpayer dollars. That was a a that was an event for my staff and it was campaign money. And it's true. It is campaign money. That's not better, by the way. It's not better. Think about it. Let's say you are a hardworking union man who works at the, you know, local air conditioning factory and you believe that Chris Van Halen is a Democrat and he's looking out for the little guy and you want to make sure that he stays in Congress. you give him $25 last month so that he can run for Senate. And uh he's taken that and $7,000 worth of his campaign funds and having a big night out at a swanky marbled bar with a giant golden moose on the wall in Washington DC with your campaign cash. Did you know that you're spending money so that he can take his staff out for a party? And I don't begrudge Chris Van Holland's staff getting a good night out. Lord knows if I had to work for Chris Van Holland, I would like a night on the town once in a while, too.

[00:15:03]But that's Chris Van Holland's defense as he accuses Cash Patel of having a Bud Light while celebrating with the gold medal hockey team after they beat Canada in the Olympics. He spent $7,000 on a big swanky bar night for his staff. And also about the margaritas in El Salvador. We've talked about it. We've seen it. This is him talking to an accused trafficker, child pornographer, illegal immigrant, MS-13 gang banger. This is in El Salvador. And you and I can both see the glasses on the table. Now, it's not water. You can see because the water glasses are right next to them. And well, the water is clear and those are cloudy. I don't know how they serve margaritas in El Salvador. Could be a cultural thing that they do a marcino cherry instead of a wedge of lime. Not sure. There's salt on the rim. Van Holland's argument is, "Oh, yeah. They put those glasses there, but I didn't drink from it." Oh, hey everybody. Chris Van Galand didn't inhale.

[00:16:06]All right. So, just to be clear here, he said it's provably false. Now you tell me, is there more evidence submitted to you right now as an average American citizen that Chris Van Galand shared margaritas with ago Garcia, the Maryland man, illegal immigrant in El Salvador?

[00:16:26]Is there more evidence to suggest that that did happen or is there more evidence suggests that it didn't happen?

[00:16:34]the the only final piece of evidence that we have on the table is Chris Van Holland saying that it didn't happen.

[00:16:43]Go ahead. You reach your own conclusion, but I don't know if it's provably false.

[00:16:48]At the very least, it's undetermined.

[00:16:53]Uh, meanwhile, as I mentioned, James Comey is the former FBI director. He, of course, under indictment for the second time. This time for threatening the president of the United States. But that doesn't keep him from going on CNN. And he drew an interesting comparison between this White House and the way it operated and Joe Biden's White House.

[00:17:10]>> Expect Republicans, I know there's a lot trapped in the cult of MAGA to step back and say, "Whoa, what if that shoe was on the other foot? How would that be? It would be awful no matter who's being targeted."

[00:17:20]>> What would you if they someone might hear that I can hear a Trump attorney now saying, "Well, they did go after him, you know, when he was out of office and they did indict him." What would you say to that defense?

[00:17:32]take a step back and look at the cases.

[00:17:34]Look at the work they did and remember this. The Biden Justice Department indicted the president's son. Can you imagine that happening today? Honestly, while you're shaving MAGA supporter in the mirror, look in the mirror and say, could that happen today? And the answer is no, which is a really bad thing.

[00:17:50]>> All right, so just here's a hint.

[00:17:52]Whenever somebody from Washington DC refers to people who support President Trump, you know, I like to refer to them as Americans, you know, the majority of Americans who voted for him for president and want him to succeed. That's that's how I call.

[00:18:06]Whenever they refer to them as mega supporters, mega mega mega mega mega mega mega mega mega, that's a tell. It's a tell that they hate you. They despise you. They're trying to disparrage you.

[00:18:15]It's sort of a dog whistle kind of thing. That's fine. Whatever. They don't understand you. They never will. Okay, but let's unpack what he just said. Hey, the Biden depart Justice Department indicted Joe Biden's son. All right. Well, first of all, the Biden Justice Department tried to do a plea bargain with Joe Biden's son. And the plea bargain would have given him immunity for all of his crimes that were discovered on that laptop, including IRS fraud, including not just the tax evasion, but also the Farah violations, including child pornography, including child sex trafficking, all of the things. He was going to plead to a lesser charge on a gun violation.

[00:19:02]He was going to have no time served and he was going to walk scot-free with immunity from everything else. The judge threw out the plea deal. Only then did an indictment come down. Okay, those are the facts. And number two, Joe Biden pardoned his son with a sweeping pardon of any crime that he may or may not have committed for like 10 years.

[00:19:32]I'm sorry. Are are you trying to take this holy ground and tell me that the Biden presidency and the Justice Department under Joe Biden was in some way pure and unstained and only looked at the rule of law and treated everybody the same? That's what you're saying, James Gi? because I'm sorry and I'm so sorry that Caitlyn Collins with that really really by the way unfortunate profile shot.

[00:20:00]You might want to talk about talk to the director about that. I'm sorry that Caitlyn Collins wasn't able to push back in the way that I just did and say, "Well, come on. Who are you kidding?"

[00:20:09]Number one, he got a pardon. Number two, they tried to give him a sweetheart plea deal. The judge wouldn't even allow it and threw it out. And number three, there's a ton of crimes that never got indicted, only the tax evasion. Give me a break.

[00:20:21]Caitlyn Collins didn't say that. She was too busy doing whatever is Caitlyn Collins is doing right now. Uh but to suggest that the Biden Department in some way, Justice Department in some way was more pristine with the rule of law is a little disgusting. Oh, and about that pardon, let's not forget this from Joe Biden just what months before he left office. But let me ask you, will you accept the jury's outcome, their verdict, no matter what it is?

[00:20:49]>> And have you ruled out a pardon for your son?

[00:20:52]>> Yes.

[00:20:53]>> And yet he did pardon his son. That's James Comey's hero. That's James Comey suggesting that MAGA supporters should look themselves in the mirror when they're shaving. By the way, kind of sexist because a lot of MAGA supporters are women. Am I right, ladies? Let me know down below.

[00:21:10]I mean, you may shave, but you don't look yourself in the mirror when you do it. There's other situations going on with your shaving.

[00:21:18]He suggests that MAGA supporters need to look themselves in the mirror and look at the Biden Justice Department and see how pure that they were. Uh, James Comey is dirty. Christopher Wright, Christopher Ray, dirty. Cash Patel fighting back against equally dirty Chris Van Holland. What a day on Capitol Hill. What a day indeed.
