[00:00:29]Nigerians have not abandoned the idea.

[00:00:31]They have lost faith in the execution of trust.

[00:00:36]And that distinction matters. A citizen who has rejected democracy is lost.

[00:00:42]A citizen who still wants it to work, but no longer believes it can, is reachable.

[00:00:48]The aspiration is intact. What is broken is the connection between that aspiration and lived experience.
