Moving to institutional activity, domestic investors continue to support the market. DIIs were net buyers worth 6,003 crores, while FIIs remained net sellers worth 4,440 crores. The strong domestic buying continues to absorb foreign selling pressure and remains a positive sign for market stability.

HDFC Bank ADR gained 0.49%, ICICI Bank rose 0.35%, Infosys added 0.24%, and Wipro added 1.52%, which could provide support to banking and IT stocks today. On the currency front, the US dollar versus Indian rupee is trading near 95.69. The dollar has cooled slightly from recent highs, which is positive for inflation, foreign fund flows, and overall market sentiment. In commodities, crude oil prices continue to soften. WTI crude is trading around $92 per barrel, while Brent crude is near 99 dollars. Both down more than 4% and lower crude prices are generally beneficial for India as they help reduce inflationary pressure and support economic growth.
