“She Should Acknowledge Her Mistake” — Merkel Policy Criticism Goes Viral 🔥追加:
I am extremely surprised to see less than a year before the first round of the presidential election, former Chancellor Merkel interfering in [music] the French political debate and in the French electoral debates before the electoral campaign has even started.
This [music] most certainly says a great deal about the wave of panic gripping a large part of our political and ideological opponents. [music] First, I think the accusation leveled at us by Mrs. Merkel is quite unfounded.
I would first like to say that she bears a very heavy responsibility as former Chancellor of [music] Germany for the destabilization of Europe linked to the acceptance of tens of thousands of migrants following the refugee crisis of 2015, which stirred Africa and the Middle East believing at the time that Europe needed this immigration.
The consequences [music] for the security of European citizens, for their daily lives, for their identity have been extremely severe, and I would like her to acknowledge today that she made a mistake with that policy, one that is now, I believe, very widely rejected within the European Union and which is certainly also the subject of criticism in Germany.
I note that the German Chancellor, under pressure from the AfD as well, [music] has chosen to break with the naive approach to immigration, notably restoring border controls in Germany in recent months.
But this accusation from Chancellor Merkel is unfounded because we will hold a referendum, and that referendum will [music] aim to give the French people back their power over the management of immigration.
So yes, if we reach the head of the country on the question of immigration, we believe that France should have the final say.
The French people will be able to have their voice heard as early as 2027 if they grant us their trust next year because once again, the stability of society, the future of their country, and the future of their identity are at stake, and no one other than the French people has the right, in reality, to determine the immigration policy they wish to pursue.
Neither Mrs. Merkel nor the European Union
