Um, I studied for many, many years how we can use technologies, uh, AI-enabled systems to make people learn faster, to make their performance better, to support people's decision-making. But all of those same systems can be used to degrade people's abilities to make good decisions, whether with intent or just incidentally. We're seeing right now, um, the ability for people to focus, people's attention spans, over the last several years has been empirically going down.
