Trump Says US, China Want The “Straits Open” Amid Beijing Talks

[00:00:06]And I think a lot of a lot of good has come of it. We've made some fantastic trade deals, great for both countries.

[00:00:15]Uh he's a man I respect greatly.

[00:00:18]He's become a really good friend. We've known each other now 11 years, almost 12 years. That's a long time.

[00:00:24]And we've settled a lot of different problems that other people wouldn't have been able to settle.

[00:00:29]And the relationship is a very strong one.

[00:00:32]Uh we've really done some uh wonderful things, I believe. We did discuss Iran. We feel very similar on Iran. We want that to end.

[00:00:44]Uh we don't want them to have a nuclear weapon. We want the straits open. We're closing it down. They closed it, and we closed it on top of them.

[00:00:53]But we want the straits open.

[00:00:56]And we want them to get it ended because they're crazy thing there. A little bit crazy. And that's no good. Can't have it. They cannot have a nuclear weapon.
