Kamala Harris fuels fresh 2028 rumours with behind-the-scenes staffing moves

[00:00:00]Well, you know, I don't want to risk exhausting you any further here with this one, but there there are reports that and yeah, I'm pretty tired of this one, too. Kamala Harris has quietly begun hiring staffers as speculation grows about whether she will run again in 2028.

[00:00:17]She weaker, how do you see this playing out?

[00:00:21]You know, unfortunately right now a lot of people are upset with President Trump because of the economy. So, if the elections were very soon, like maybe in November, Kamala might withstand a chance. My hope, however, though is that the economy will turn around as I expect that it will, so that she can continue to be the joke that she always has been.

[00:00:44]Then I'd be actually looking forward to her running again because really the antics that she pulled for this last election, it was quite entertaining.

[00:00:54]Well, yeah, and we've just seen the Democrats release their big kind of report on what went wrong there, but you know, just tell me you did mention the economy and so on. Give us a little bit of a picture on the ground about how the economy is going day-to-day for working folks in America because I do hear concerns that this is going to harm Donald Trump. What's like what's it like in your experience and are people starting to blame Trump for, you know, high prices at the pump or at the grocery store?

[00:01:23]Absolutely, they're starting to blame Trump. There are so many people who voted for Trump that feel like he has actually uh betrayed the voters in going after things that he people just didn't vote for. People voted for strong borders, there doesn't seem to be a lot of focus on that. People voted for a stronger economy, right now gas is skyrocketing, prices in the grocery store grocery stores are skyrocketing.

[00:01:50]We weren't uh voting for war uh another war, so a lot of people right now are just completely frustrated. I would say the economy is probably the number one concern. And yes, across the board on the ground, people who maybe even voted for Trump for the first time in 2024 are kind of regretting their vote because it's just really rough for everybody.

[00:02:15]Really interesting insights there. Hey, Shemika, finally, before I let you go here, I have been so curious about this story here. Now, the other day Donald Trump posted this picture of himself with a shackled space alien, or as I'm sure he might eventually call them a space Mexican, and it's set off all sorts of flurries of activity.

[00:02:33]Meanwhile, the White House is saying they're going to keep releasing files on unexplained phenomena, UFOs, this sort of thing.

[00:02:41]Are we being teased here, or what's your perspective here? Is anything going to come out of all of this, or is this just a big distraction to some of those economic issues you're speaking about?

[00:02:52]Yes, I actually think it's a big distraction. It's also not having, you know, Trump not having his finger on the pulse of America. Right now, unless that alien is going to fix the economy, most of us really just don't care. You know, unless that alien is going to expose some of the Epstein files, most of us really just don't care. So, I think it's just we would laugh about this, and we would probably be interested if the economy was in a better place, but right now, that's mostly our concern. Whether aliens exist or not, I mean, it's something to, you know, look at or laugh at, but it's just not going to affect day-to-day life. So, what I think you're saying, Shemika, is illegal aliens today, space aliens tomorrow. Thank you so much for your time. I really appreciate it.
