So, about that one pregnant guinea pig

[00:00:00]You know, I said to you that only one of the six girls that I took on that had been with the boy was pregnant.

[00:00:08]The joys of having my own ultrasound machine.

[00:00:12]Is that I can now scan the girls and my vet said to me, "Scan them again in a couple of weeks just to confirm." You know, we thought one was pregnant, we thought the other five were safe.

[00:00:24]Oh, no.

[00:00:25]Oh, no, no, no, no, no. I have found a lot more babies. So, let me reintroduce you to these girls and who is carrying little presents. So, if you remember, I took the mickey out of Darcy because I said that she was the only one that found the boy completely irresistible.

[00:00:40]But, that was just not true, was it, darling? No, I took the mickey out of you for no reason. Mhm? So, she's carrying at least two babies, but we expected that. So, this is little Dakota. She's the smallest one out of all the pigs and only a baby herself, so that's not ideal, but it's fine. She should be fine and we can keep a close eye on her. She's [snorts] carrying at least two babies and you can see, look at this.

[00:01:06]The shaved belly looks great. So, this is Clementine, a very confident pig.

[00:01:10]Now, I've scanned her a couple of times.

[00:01:12]I can't see anything, but she is also full of bubbles. You need a good fart.

[00:01:19]You do. You need a good fart. If you could fart quite spectacularly, then I might be able to see. So, I can't say either way. She may very well have avoided it, but we'll see. I I don't think she is.

[00:01:35]This is little Josephine. When I scanned her the first time, I couldn't see anything because she also needed to fart, but today she did fart and I can see at least one little baby.

[00:01:49]So, that means we've got potentially five babies on the way, but there's still a couple more.

[00:01:55]This is Amber. Isn't she lovely?

[00:01:57]And she's carrying at least two babies, possibly more. Not 100% sure, but there are definitely arms and legs in your tummy.

[00:02:06]All right. Yeah, so that means we're up to at least seven potential babies.

[00:02:11]And last but certainly not least is the beautiful Lyra who is also carrying a couple of babies. So that takes us to at least nine babies, possibly more between six pigs. It's very easy to see how it gets out of hand very quickly, isn't it?

[00:02:25]Mhm. But >> [laughter] >> I'm going to attach a video now of how excited I was when I actually managed to find a pregnancy by myself with my ultrasound scanner.

[00:03:12]I was very proud of myself, all right? I was proud because it's not easy to read ultrasound when you've not been trained in it. It's It's quite It's It's complicated. So I was very proud. I was proud.
