Obi's Emerges Splits Northern-Southern Loyalty Sparks Another Fire That Changes 2027 Tinubu's HopeAdded:
Tinubu has brought problems to this country. Tinubu has brought evil to this country. He knows nothing about governance. He knows nothing about leadership. All he knows is to borrow and share the money to the few and impoverish the masses. And you are here telling us that the the healing of Nigeria the HEALING OF NIGERIA. SOMEBODY CALLED YOU THAT MY LEG BROKE. The next thing you do you broke the second leg.
And you are telling me that I should have patience when you have broken the two legs. Even the hand you have broken it. And somebody is telling you that you should continue. It's only a fool that will allow Tinubu to continue SECOND TERM. IF TINUBU FIRST TERM CAN BE LIKE THIS HEY, let me say we all go enter hell fire next year.
I tell you the truth. So Tinubu will win this? God forbid. HE NEVER WON THE FIRST ONE. BUT THE ONLY THING THE ONLY THING is that we didn't defend our vote. He never won election. TINUBU DOES NOT HAVE 5% OF NIGERIANS. THAT'S THE TRUTH. He never won the first one. But this time around we are going to defend our vote.
And anybody in INEC that think THAT HE WILL COME HERE AND TELL US ESPECIALLY those cobras that they didn't give you something to upload the result. We are going to That Mr. Peter Obi >> [music] >> is somebody that the government of the day does not want to be on the ballot.
They want to scare me off. All right.
Welcome, sir. Yeah.
Which is mine?
Peter Obi has gotten the NDC presidential nomination form.
And he has emerged as the only candidate who has gotten that form.
Um what is your opinion to this?
For me it's a win-win for the people.
It's also a win-win for democracy because majority of us have been yearning for a credible and accountable candidate in which we look up to. In which that would come out and shape the dynamics of Nigerian politics. And Peter Obi have proven to be such a candidate because time in time happening show there have been no debt of Peter Obi. Even the Even the major Even the ruling party today cannot come out and attest that when Peter Obi was the governor of Anambra State, he embezzled. Rather, what they use against him is that Peter Obi saved the state's money.
Peter Sorry.
Or rather, Peter Obi invested in the state's resources, in which Peter Obi would have used in that to build infrastructure, but Peter Obi has come out to clarify that that for him to have invested that money, the state too can transact business as well so as to make profits and it will benefit the every individual of the state.
We've seen that even while Peter Obi left office till date, EFCC has never for one day indicted him or what or or or or even the ICPC have alleged that Peter Obi, while while awarding contract, Peter Obi inflated the contract. Up to today, ICPC has never EFCC has gone through the all the records of Peter Obi and yet nothing is being found. We've seen their own candidate where their own candidate has as he was invited even while he was sitting governor in this state. So, these are the antecedents that some of us are yearning and pushing for the emergence of Peter Obi. And we've seen that the Nigerian political system has changed.
It is not about about It is not about I am from a particular tribe. It's about competency.
It's about service to the people.
It is about about coming to showcase what you can do.
We've seen them. We've seen what they have done in these four years.
It has been agony, pain, hardship, unemployment. Insecurity has been the top notch of the day.
Yes, just yesterday, a primary school teacher was spanked. He was beheaded.
In your state, and the and the commander-in-chief of the armed force and the head of the country on a 7-days working working visit to do what in France when the country is bleeding.
And Peter Obi did not say he is coming to to to to to to to put an He said he would tackle the major issues, which is insecurity, to curb unemployment, and to also curb in- inflation. This These are the three cardinal points in which Peter Obi is campaigning.
All right, you talk about Peter. We coming to tackle the insecurity and the major issues. Um but people have raised a concern that for instance, when he was in NDC, why couldn't he also wait to tackle some of the issues there because he said >> in When he was in ADC.
>> Okay, I beg your pardon. ADC. That he before he even got to ADC, he left Labour Party, PRP, and all of those things. So, some people are alleging and people are saying that why can't he wait in ADC? If he cannot fix just some issues that just a party is facing, how then do you trust him with a broader issue of Nigeria? What do you have to say?
>> give you some instances. Even the current president, he was one of the members of AD. He left AD.
He left AD. He formed his own party, AC. Now, he left AC, he formed ACN. And now, by the grace of God, in 2015, they all formed APC. And so, WHY SO WHY DIDN'T THE PARTY wait there to face the crisis in his own party? Now, the Peter Obi saga or scenario is quite different in the sense that the Labour Party was hijacked by some individuals that APC is using them to scuttle the Labour Party.
You all saw it.
That that that that that see that see it got to a point there was there was different court in Dutch judgment just in the case of one political party. And who was uh, Abure?
Who is he working for?
Claiming to be the chairman of the party.
And which which the other faction Abure was was the faction of Peter Obi. But things were not being resolved. Obi, in his own wisdom, put every effort to resolve it.
But the powers that be that never wanted Obi to be on the ballot keep pushing Abure.
Up till today now, is the issue in Labour Party is it being resolved?
Testify to that.
So, it is not it is See, politics they say it is interest.
So, if if Obi felt his interest is not protected here anymore, so he asked the right to leave. So, that is not a yardstick for for governance. For you to exit a party, it does not determine that this person will fail in governance. We've seen their master strategist who is very good when when it comes to politicking, but he has been woefully incompetent. Uh let's be critical now.
I'm look at it um critically. Peter Obi has won the NDC presidential form. Yes.
Are you confident that he will win the presidency? I am [clears throat] I am I am 105% confident.
Overconfident.
Because with the dynamics of Nigeria politics, let us study the antecedents.
Obi is is now widely accepted across board. But you are you also aware that APC still as we still speak, still has a structure. Does NDC have that structure that can be The the same labor did not have structure in the last election.
What Who Who are the structure? What's What's structure? Structure is me and you.
Without humans, there is no structure.
So So, humans, we humans make up the structure.
Obi won 12 states.
So, even without even without their so-called structure, what was what was the margin between the incumbent president and President Peter Obi?
Sorry, and yes, he's he's the incumbent president. That's Obi won in even in in the FCT.
He won in Lagos.
Which is not even his own uh domain.
So, so when you speak about structure, the this structure they the structure they have put in place is the money politics structure. And Obi has said he does not have shishi to spend. And And then we've seen people who believe in that ideology come out to to to to vote for him. See, in politics, when the fellow politician said I I I just said politics is a game of interest based on ideology. We've seen people the ordinary masses believed in the ideology of Peter Obi.
It is only those who are selfish, who are only after the bag of rice, the the salt that would always queue and vote for their money for their own for their own money bag politics. But Peter Obi now today is widely accepted across board, across all the nooks and crannies of the country. A man who is eloquence, a man who is intelligent, a man who is ready to serve. I I was talking to a man some days and the man tagged to be as a boy. I said a boy.
A boy that a boy that was a governor of of a state.
Someone did governor of a state and and then you have that effrontery to tag him as as a boy. That is so that is that is that is that that is the act of it.
But I can tell you with every Look at the permutation. Go to the south, they are yearning for change. Go to the north, they are yearning for change. Go to the south eastern part of the country, they are yearning for change. How has the president performed? The question is the president has has underperformed.
Yes.
With the current allocation this with the current IGR of Nigeria when the money for the subsidy where is the money where is the money going to?
Rather the ordinary masses are now are now being taxed double taxation on a daily basis.
Look at the power sector, the president has failed. If you begin to highlight all these sectors is it the health settlers?
Where where you see that that that that even most doctors go on strike at every market day.
Every market day, doctors go on on strike. Doctors are not Doctors are now underpaid.
All right. So, let's let's give this um interview a round up. Um talk about Peter Obi. Now, we understand that a lot of youths are yearning for Peter Obi. Not youth. Even the elderly ones. All right. So, um with that some people say election are the one on social media. If you take back 2023, um we have at least about 93 million registered voters thereabouts. And in the election, it was only about 24 or 25 million people that later voted.
So, we had we still have a gap of people that didn't vote.
Don't you think that might also still play out in 2027 and still might not make Obi to win? Yeah, you cannot rule out the factor of political apathy.
Some persons are wired generally not to be interested in anything that has to do with politics.
So, that does not mean the fact that Obi might not get that vote. And why some persons would get that vote and and then no no I need to can deprive people of the voters card. Because we've seen in the last election where a particular tribe where the Igbo tribe were not given the the voters card for them to exercise their franchise. And and then third one again can be fear of what hoodlums.
We've seen how a particular tribe was being dis was was being dis of voting. So I can tell you this year that if I make is being sincere even as a free even as a free level playing ground that nothing will stop Obi emergence.
And now politics is a game of interest and also a game of numbers. In in the people's election, look at the fact that Baba Tunde Ahmed was not a very formidable candidate in the north.
Now Obi has pitched his tent with who?
Engineer Musa Rabiu Kwankwaso, a very formidable man in the north.
Don't forget that Kwankwaso is an household name in the northern politics.
So by that permutation by that collabo, I can I can tell you that nothing will stop the emergence of Peter Obi.
In the southeast, it is clear.
South-south, it is clear. Where Obi is now where where the work now will done is in the north.
If Obi is accepted in the north, then then I I can beat you by 12:00 p.m. Bola Ahmed Tinubu is off the villa.
12:00 p.m.
You see, it is not about money But people say the INEC, the soldiers, the personnels are on the side of Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
>> Who are the personnel? Who Who is the INEC? Is the INEC Is the INEC Are they Are they much? Are they Are they Are they Are they the one that will cast votes? We We will determine where we are heading to.
The INEC can only rig when there is a low turnout. But when you have massive turnout, why can't they rig in in 2023?
Why didn't David Lagos election?
Because the people came out in mass to cast their votes.
The other can only rig election where there's a low turnout, where there's low percentage of people coming out to vote. But when you have massive people, nobody can not rig.
And and then now this bring me back to the show of encouraging people to please come out and cast their votes.
A new Nigeria is possible. A new Nigeria can be okay with Obi equal pass or We've seen it.
If you if if Bola Ahmed Tinubu has not become president, then you can tell me then then you can convince me that Tinubu would make Nigeria better. But Tinubu we've seen it.
We've seen how corruption has been going on on a daily basis.
How workers in the in the federal civil service are being owed salary.
A friend of mine that works in Abuja, a federal civil servant, was telling me how the government does not pay them salary.
We've seen how insecurity is top notch today and the president does does not care.
The president does not care.
He does not care. All what he does is every now and then for him to loot the money.
The interest of Nigerians does not concern the president and he still wants the same man to be done. It It is impossible.
>> So finally, what would you advise Nigerians to do come 2027?
Nigerians, come 2027, the decision is in is in our hands to make.
That was how Jonathan warned us that do we want to go back to the old stone age or do we want to move to to the new digital area? We refused.
Rather, Buhari brought us back to to the stone age. For us to have progress, stability in Nigeria, Obi equal pass or okay is the solution. I am not saying oh, but people come and within 4 years make Nigeria El Dorado.
But, he has promised to fix insecurity.
He has promised to curb the high rising of unemployment, and he has promised to tackle this issue of fuel bills. Look at the amount of our people pay for the for this issue of fuel bills, this subsidy.
Where is the money going to?
That is what will be asked for me to address.
And if he does not fix that, me, I will come out and campaign against him.
I I am I am not a one-way person that because one leader I campaigned for him, and yet he has not fixed that particular thing he promised to do, and I will not continue in that shenanigan.
I cannot. Thank you very much.
