Thank you so much for the lovely mandate that you guys have given me this time. Thank you so much and I feel very very proud to have my leaders here of the council our MP Simma Malotra and the leader of the council Mr. Shantel Rajawat here to proudly display my community and to show how vibrant our Goan culture is. So without wasting any more time, I'll hand it over now to Sema to say a few words to us. Thank you all of you.

And I'm really really proud to be here with you all and to be joining you on this so such a wonderful occasion of go a day here and to thank Bunty and Calvin and all the team who have been involved in organizing this because I know from the conversations I start having with them early in the year how much work it takes and how dedicated they are to having this wonderful opportunity for us all to come together and for you to have a wonderful day with family and with friends and for us to bring together the goen spirit, party spirit here to Cranford.

[00:03:59]And it is incredible also to have many of you from across our community and even who have traveled more widely because we recognize that here in Houndslow at a time when we see a politics of division that grows here and across the world. We are proud of our diversity. We are proud of our history, our heritage and our different communities. And we are proud of how we integrate together so that we are one hounds lo and we are one United Kingdom.

[00:04:38]And I am also incredibly proud to be serving in our government as the Minister for Equalities and the Minister for the Indo-Pacific to be recognizing that the values we stand for of respect, of equality, and of making sure that everyone has the chance to get on in their lives to have opportunity for young people to have opportunity.

[00:05:08]That is what we believe in and that what we do to build our relationships abroad and to see that with India we have our free trade agreement come into force this week. This is a matter of pride for both of our countries. So I'm really grateful to you all for being here and for all the support you provide to each other and to be c congratulating also Pamela on your election and the incredible work that you do and two on behalf of myself and so many across our community and my family to wish you all wonderful celebrations here today. But I'm so proud to be the leader of the council with such a brilliant Goen diaspora here who contribute to the local economy to society and to do things and come to these events and it's a real source of pride for me that of the two goer days that are held across the country both are in Houndsville here at Cranford. That is a great deal of pride for me because we represent you and you represent us and we are really really proud that we live together, we work together and we stay together and Hanzo is a better place because of all of you. So, thank you for everything that you do. Thank you to Calvin and the team for doing such a great job of organizing today.
