[00:00:19]This is enduring because in the last couple years we haven't had no flood. Numerous time before we had water at least 4 ft 5 ft [music] in the land. I am a farmer also. I'm a rice farmer and flooding is a big [music] issue.

[00:00:39]So, Darrell Grady here. We are GWS 2 acting. All right, we are currently at the Quarry River where we are undertaking our yearly desilting program [music] at this particular section of river. We are doing base rehabilitation and slope [music] stabilization. It has become necessary due to the volume of of water that comes through this channel, the Hollis Overflow, Hollis Reservoir.

[00:01:02]Um it also takes water as it connects [music] to the Kumaka River.

[00:01:07]All right, this is another large channel. We are doing these works so as to [music] maintain ingress and egress into the region along the Valencia Road.

[00:01:17]We are also doing this uh protect the agricultural and socio-economic endeavors of the community.

[00:01:31]Uh several as commercials to enter properties [music] uh to illegal development and illegal quarrying. All right, so we have a lot [music] of vulnerable people and communities that this will help.
