The video wraps basic survival logic in sensationalist clickbait, proving that even life-saving common sense requires a fear-driven narrative to capture public attention. It is a sobering reflection on how modern media must commodify panic to deliver essential safety messages.

Added:Are you a woman?
Is that truck upside down?
43 million people in Texas and other parts of the Gulf Coast faced major flood threat uh this morning. That region has been hit by heavy rain for days. Driving has become very, very dangerous. Texas Governor Greg Abbott has declared a disaster.
>> Heavy rain drenched central and south Texas on Monday, leading to scenes like this underpass underwater in Houston.
Cars and roads were submerged in Marshall, Texas. And in San Antonio, the river city saw a record-breaking day of rain.
>> This is a situation where we can get into trouble very fast. This is time to be weather aware, to pay attention.
Getting information, and taking action is very critical.
>> This video shows first responders making a rescue in Mlennen County over the weekend. And in Waco, you can see some of the road damage here from flash floods that scoured the pavement away Sunday night and created terrifying situations for drivers, especially on the interstate. I literally, I'm not kidding. You thought I was going to die out here. Rick Smith says he was making his way home when I35 suddenly filled with water. He was trapped. Water on all sides and lines of cars behind him.
>> It just looked like Niagara Falls coming across that that barrier wall. What do you do in that moment to protect yourself?
>> It literally was a flash flood. And so I would tell people, heeded the warnings and if you see standing water on the road, do not try to drive through that water. No matter how, you know, shallow you think it is or how big of a car you think you have.
>> Yeah. And to his point, this is a Houston road that goes under railroad tracks. Hasn't raid in hours, but it is still underwater. This morning, the governor has cleared the way for more resources to be positioned throughout the state because Nate, there is more rain developing just off to our south and Hey all those trash comments. So is Ted Cruz on vacation then?
So, is Ted Cruz on vacation then?
Look at this one. Someone says, "Why is this one not on the news?"
And this is Texas, not AI.
Prayers, man. Prayers for Texas. Don't count on FEMA.
This is terrible. The government won't help, man.
>> Got one solved vehicle here on I35 northbound.
>> And I want to send my prayers, man, to everybody, especially out here in Texas.
Uh we've been getting a lot over here where I'm at in the specific part of Dayton, Texas. I'm like 50 almost an hour out of Houston. We've been getting a lot a lot a lot a lot a lot a lot of rain. I mean so much rain. I mean I I feel like the last week I mean I mean it's just drenched in rain and then the sun comes out and then everything's sunny, things start to dry and then it goes right back to raining.
I mean, it's just been real crazy out here where we're living, you know, with just so much rain, rain, rain, rain, rain, you know. But, um, if you're in Texas, um, and again, please leave comments down below, inform me, let me know any experiences that you're having.
And again, want to send my love and prayers to all you guys. Oh, boy.
>> It is completely underwater.
Again, this is I35 northbound here in Sanger, Texas. Right before the 454 exit, >> Dallas, this was 4 hours ago.
Man, send my prayers, man. I I hate seeing stuff like this, man. With everything everybody's going through, what we all are going through surviving in this corrupt scam matrix, you know, everybody just trying to get by, you know, with everything with with the, you know, with just the economy and how everything has been going, you know, and of course they want to people are going to blame the president. It's all Trump's fault. But, you know, if you actually are informed and have a little bit of common sense, you know, I tell you, man, but I I really hate seeing stuff like this, man. You know, but hey, they what they what somebody's on the phone right now with the insurance company.
Somebody had gap insurance. The gap insurance covered.
Yeah, they are out of a payment. Huh.
I don't know. Sometimes people people use these situations to to to to make it work for the best of their, you know, ability and in their situation. They they they get some a lot of a lot of people actually come out on on on the on on the winning side of things. Y'all will be surprised. You'll be surprised that a lot of these cases, man, a lot of Americans come out on the winning side. They, you know, there's a lot of ways you can beat the system. You know, I'm not going to disclose everything on here on the show, but if you know, you know.
Oh my god, man.
Oh, he's going to do it again. Bye-bye, door.
>> He rolled it.
>> Oh, he rolled it.
>> He rolled it. Somebody I'm I'm suing like a mother.
>> This dude's fired.
>> Oh, people are something else. At first, I thought somebody was stuck in the car, man, but then I was like, "No, they're just trying to get it out the way." But they rolled it.
>> Oh, he's going to do it again. Get you out of there, man. You want to get out?
I get you out.
I'm going get you out. I'm going get you out. You need to get out.
Wow.
>> Well, breaking news from the National Hurricane Center. I like those odds.
>> And right now, actually, y'all, as we're recording right now, it's literally storming outside of my house and the the and again, it's it's the the thunder.
You might be able to hear the I don't know if the microphone my microphone kept pick it up, you know, but it is you can hear the thunder outside right now.
>> Demic thing, right? If this were to go back.
>> Oh my god.
He rolled it.
There it went. There it went.
>> Intense rainfall.
>> Oh my god. This rolled.
>> So people also on this video that's going viral. People are like, "Look at this. It looks like the the the gas is 1 and 69."
Right here. You see that? It says regular is 169. And this comment was like, "Wait, how old is this video? This has to be an old video because gas is 169."
And as you can see, the display is broken though. So, it says that's three.
That's 369.
The display is broken though, man.
But man, we need to I'm Come on, Uncle Donnie. Come on, Dantavius. John Quis, let's let's let's go on. We done signed the papers. Let's go on. That they they are they don't have nothing left down there. That's This is it. Let's go on.
Get this wrap this up. Peace through strength. Let's have some peace.
We get down to November in the midterms.
We got to have to get this gas back down about two something. Yeah. Yeah. I think honestly I think Trump I think Trump could actually pull out that magic wand and twirl it around. I think he can get it down by 18. We might not get back down to 16 169. I think we can get back to like 185 though. They say Rick you crazy as hell. I think we could family.
What y'all think Rick? No sir. No sir.
No.
I think we can get back down to about 185 on gas and moline. Yeah, but yeah, as you can see though, these last uh couple of days and due to the, you know, recent events, um the prices have come down. So, I mean, we're we're we're we're getting back into the right direction, man. Again, y'all, I'm rooting for America. I'm rooting for success. I'm not rooting for things to burn and crash, for things to continue to get worse and worse and worse and worse so we can just blame the orange man at the end of the day. No.
You know, we ought to be praying for our president, for our country, and rooting for the best, man. You know, >> in my opinion, though, some people might disagree with me. It's okay.
>> Rainfall pounded the Houston area today.
Flash floods made driving dangerous.
>> This is a really uh tropical air mass that can produce a lot of heavy rain in a short period of time.
>> Overnight, this video shows first responders rescuing people trapped in flood waters in Mlennon County. In Waco, Texas, more than six inches of rain turned highways into rivers.
>> Uh there's a car uh just floating down the median. I hope nobody is in it. Only the wall separating lanes of traffic on Interstate 35 was holding the water back. Flooded lanes. Cars floated away and multiple vehicles were left stranded in the middle of the highway.
>> And there's EMS. Uh we're just stuck out here.
>> Many drivers abandoned their cars while first responders rescued others as the water kept rising.
Storms have triggered dangerous flash flooding across the state and along the Gulf Coast. There have been more than 70 flash flood reports in the past 24 hours. Texas Governor Greg Abbott is calling up more resources as life.
>> Wow.
>> More than 40 million people across the Gulf Coast are preparing for record-breaking rainfall with what's expected to be the first name storm of the season. Arthur now approaching the state of Texas. Here's CBS News correspondent Jason. Arthur.
>> Arthur.
>> More than half a foot of rain brought dangerous flash flooding to multiple states today, turning roadways into canals throughout Louisiana. Residents in D are waiting through waste high water to seek higher ground. And in Mississippi, while some were able to drive through flood waters, others had to be towed. Lightning and blinding sheets of rain soaked South Padre Island in Texas overnight.
And water continued to pour into neighborhoods throughout the state today. So, we want Houstononians to remain resilient and be prepared and listen to messaging that may be coming from the mayor or for the office of emergency management.
>> In this Houston neighborhood after hours of rain, the water is basically using this driveway as a stream bed.
>> That was definitely a lot of rain. Yeah.
In a small period of time.
>> Justin Mills lives north of Houston in Tombball. Justin, you guys are used to rain. You're used to flooding >> a short period of time, man. That that water, it's a lot, man. for just a short peri. That's a lot of rain in just a short period of time >> around here. But this is still significant.
>> This is significant for a small period of time. Yeah, for sure.
>> Sun is out, but all of the water that fell here 6 in near this neighborhood.
>> What I tell y'all, sun come right back out.
>> Still draining.
>> Oh man. And this that viral clip we've been seeing.
Flash, >> man. My prayers, man. This morning, deadly flash floods soaking the south.
>> Somebody says global warming.
>> Officials in Texas saying one >> somebody Trump ain't said like what what why does Trump live rent through rentree in y'all head like what does Trump got to do with this?
You know, ain't nobody died yet or anything crazy took. I mean, it's just, you know, huge floods and storms. I mean, what does Trump got to do with this? I'm just saying these comments.
Oh, like people are so sick of this Trump derangement syndrome. We blame Trump for everything. I mean, literally, it's raining and it's Trump's fault. Come on now. Let's be real, ladies and gentlemen.
Look at the black community.
Awesome.
Young are riding four-wheelers.
Speaking of the women, though, we supposed to all go to work today. Supposed to have been at work.
>> We head to work. We sent all this water.
Shoot. We I made a call. He made a call.
He made a call. Bring the toys out.
>> Bring the toys out.
>> It's inconvenience, but we haven't pulling none.
>> It was inconvenient this morning. We having fun none.
>> Have y'all ever been able to do something like this out here? Yeah, we usually >> I don't care what they say, man. I love my people, man. Uh, you know, I love my people.
We do, but we don't we don't like the the other the other side that that hates accountability. The other ones that bring the fatigue, the loud, the ghetess, the, you know, the the ones with no common sense, you know, the ones that play the victimhood, you know, it's somebody else's fault, it's the white man's fault, it's the orange man's fault. Those are the ones we stay far away from. But I love my people, man. You know, we turn these, you know, catastrophic situations, these disaster situations to something we can all smile and laugh and have a good time about.
You know, it's raining. They didn't brought the toys out. And if you don't know what toys is, ladies and gentlemen, it's, you know, usually four-wheelers, adult toys, not get your mind out the gutter.
You know, uh they they call these toys, too, you know. It's a certain different type of toy when you have a four-wheeler, a side by side, even a motorcycle and stuff like that, you know. But that's what they call these toys.
So, I'm honestly not mad at this, man.
This actually puts a little smile on my face.
>> But we be on horses mostly, but now we we upgraded.
>> We love the country boys, man. Us country boys again. I myself who has plenty of toys and uh you know, I I love, you know, I love seeing stuff like this, man. And living out here in the country where we have trails and all kind of stuff, man. We we ride through mud all in the back of our neighborhood and everything. It's an awesome thing, man.
>> So, normally it's horses, but today before we on the phone with us today. We just caught a snapping turtle.
>> We protect their environment, man. For real, man.
>> He was in the middle of stream. Put him back on the bio, though.
>> Put the mic down. Put the mic down. Go get on the phone.
>> Yeah, he got that mug. And look, popped the whole Willie, man. But y'all wait with your thoughts, man. Again, send my prayers out to all my Texas folks, man.
As I'm in Texas myself, you know, and right now it's storming and thundering outside of my house. But uh ready for that sun to come back out, man. ready for that sun to come back out. You got to stay positive and just know that that sun is going to come back out, man.
After all the rain, the muddiness, you know that sun is eventually going to come out and shine, man. So, I love y'all. God bless you all and your family. I'll catch y'all to the next one.
>> Want to really see something? Take a look.
We will make America proud again.
We will make America wealthy again. And yes, together we will make America great
