Federal judge allows Trump order creating federal voter list

[00:00:00]Some possibly big election news. A federal judge will not stop President Trump's executive order creating a federal voter list and limiting mail-in voting to only those on that list.

[00:00:13]Democrats and civil rights groups were arguing that the order was likely unconstitutional, but the Justice Department said that order has not been implemented yet, so it was premature.

[00:00:23]Ultimately, the judge agreed with that.

[00:00:26]Now, this is not the only litigation around that order. There was a similar lawsuit filed in Boston that is still active, so we will see what comes of that one. Clearly, this issue is not done just yet.
