Modern warfare increasingly targets critical economic infrastructure to achieve strategic objectives, as demonstrated by Ukraine's long-range drone strikes on Russian oil facilities spanning 1,900-2,200 kilometers, which have caused widespread civilian suffering, economic disruption, and growing public unrest across Russia.

Anger Spreads Across Russia As Ukraine Expands StrikesAdded:
So, April 29th and before we get into the rest of the news, and we have a lot of it today, of course, we have to start with the ongoing unrest, the anger at the Putin regime that is now unfolding on Russia's Black Sea coast, specifically the city of Tuapsa that is now burning. I mean, the citizenry there is literally being covered in oil and the rains begin tomorrow. That's going to basically wash all this oil from these uh giant clouds burning oil from the houses, from the people, from the cars, from the pets. It's all going to be on the streets and god forbid anyone decides to light a cigarette anywhere in the city of Tuapsa sometime over the past 48 hours. That would be absolutely horrible, wouldn't it? Or uh maybe I don't know. But uh so uh and it wasn't just the city of Tuapsa. Last night, Ukraine's armed forces hit a number of other cities. Uh I mean one at a distance of 9 1,900 kilometers. I'm going to get into all that. This is the the dismantling of the Russian oil industry, you guys. But just just a little heads up on what the fires are doing now. This is Russia's port city of Tu Touabsa now been it's been burning for I guess about 11 days and uh things are not getting any better. All this stuff is just going into the air and the people are breathing it there and they are blaming the Putin regime. They are upset. Anger and unrest continue anger and unrest boil begins to boil over in Russia's city of Tuabsa where the population is covered in oil that continues to rain from the sky. And the Putin regime sent out some health officials there to uh some to try to alleviate some of the anger that is I mean these people are angry now and they're blaming the right people now. Uh they sent some officials out today and it's just more hilarity. I mean nobody believes them. It's really like you know 1986 Chernobyl. Everything's going to be fine folks. Just continue to breathe deeply all these noxious uh petroleum fumes and you'll be fine. And this is just some from some some comments from some of the local groups there. the entire it talks about the uh district uh everything is clear the situation is terrible in our city that people can't cook for themselves or contact their loved ones because they can't charge their phone so now there's no electricity so it is not only raining oil from the heavens uh a really potentially very flam flammable situation uh you guys I don't know how this is really going to end up but uh I mean the electricity is now out uh they don't have running water the water supplies are now contaminated uh they can't contact their loved ones because They can't charge their phones.
Regarding water, it is clear that the pumping station has been destroyed.
Water is being delivered, but the time frame for repairs is unclear. What's wrong with the gas and electricity?
There's no information about the out about the outage, the cause, or the restoration timeline. I asked the authorities to publish official information. Not everyone can eat in cafes and restaurants. And as you see, the people are not happy. Let's skip over to them calling Putin the uh the uh bald grandfather. And what is the bald grandfather, the culprit, doing in the meantime? And then this one here, he claim he complains about there being no electricity, no gas, and no water. It's starting to sound a little bit like here in Kev. We had a situation sort of like that. But uh the Russians did that intentionally, striking civilian infrastructure, uh specifically related to our water pumping facilities and electricity. Uh Ukraine didn't do that.
We're basically just trying to get the oil facilities out of commissions so they can't turn that um that oil money into war. And uh more here. People are breathing oil. Cars are cars are covered in black slime. It's scary to even take the children outside and yet they're shutting us up. As you know, they they arrested a journalist yesterday that was trying to cover this. Uh that that person has disappeared somewhere into the FSB dungeons. We haven't had an update on that. I covered it yesterday.
This this isn't just happening somewhere out there anymore. It's happening right under our windows. The authorities haven't even been able to block the skies above uh one plant in four years.
It means they have no air defenses. This is a big gripe all over Russia right now. Uh I'll get into that in a second.
Do you understand what this means?
There's no protection. We've simply been abandoned. Oh no. Maybe the Putin regime doesn't care about you. I mean the man the man in the Kremlin that has sent like a million men to their deaths, he doesn't care about you. How do you connect those two? Where where like targets at a shooting gallery and now they're calling for in quotes decisive member measures. Every in quotes decisive decision they make turns into a new hell for us. And it's just uh there's no shelters and things are just bad bad. Why is Putin protected by 27 air defense systems in Valdai? Uh that that's his personal palace where his family and uh where his family lives.
While the Tuapsa while while Touapsa has far fewer I think even Moscow has fewer than Putin's palace now one person can't be more important than millions of others and it's just Russians griping about the dire straits in which they find themselves uh with this four-year failed genocidal um war in Ukraine. And here's one of the ridiculous um here's one of the ridiculous these interviews that they do in the Kremlin. Have you ever noticed it's the same that they do with Putin? They have them walk into the room like it's sort of like man about town. I'm busy. I'm running the government. I don't have time for you.
Okay, one question. It's the same setup that they use for all these government officials. They've got it down. I mean, they're they're really good at this stuff.
Let me read you first. As Russians in the city of Tapsa are literally swimming in oil, breathing oil, and while burning oil rains from their skies after Ukrainian strikes, the Putin government rolls out a health official to read from the 1986 Chernobyl guide to lying. There is no risk to the public. Yes. I mean, these people are literally breathing oil fumes all day long, you guys. It's on their skin. It's in their hair. It's covering their cars. And the government is now coming out and saying, "Uh, how dangerous is it for the how dangerous is it for the local residents in Tousa and for you in general? My colleagues are working there." Anyway, she says, "Everyone's working." And then he asks, she avoids the question and let's skip to the end where he asks the question again. Uh we are strengthening our laboratory uh capacities. Yes, we're going to do some testing. Yes. So there is no particular health risk. He has to ask again because she avoids it. No, not today. Yes, everything's going to be fine. And the propagandist then says, "Oh, thank you very much." And this goes out to uh on Kremlin media. And it wasn't only uh I mean look you guys, they they are last night.
today. I should have included it, but Zilinsky put out a post today uh basically doing a little victory lap because uh Ukraine last night hit uh hit a major oil facility out in Russia's Perm region, 1,900 kilometers from Ukraine. It wasn't only that one. I'll cover the other one in a second, but I mean, when you look at where Perm is, right? And it wasn't just one strike.
And our drones are big, fat, loud, slowmoving things. Honestly, it's not our drones that have changed. It's Russia that has changed. These are scenes from Russia's Perm region, ladies and gentlemen. And uh this is going to be another twoaps. It already is because it started raining right after. And I'll show you uh in a second. This is uh Perm, right? Uh this is very very very far from Ukraine. And here is another video of that just to show you the extent of the damage. This is going to be Touapsa 2.0. And I imagine tonight is going to be no different.
and take another uh take a look here. It seems that every Russian oil facility within 2,200 kilometers of Ukraine is now slated for destruction around that's around 75% of uh Russia's uh total according to uh my chat GPT uh query this morning. As you know, the the western part of Russia is basically the the whole economy. Today's victim, the Russian region of Perm where raging hellfire continues to engulf a major refinery complex. And this is early in the morning, uh, about an hour after the sun came up. And it was so much that literally night, I mean, day became night. And then you guys, I I checked the weather report. I I'm really convinced that Ukraine's now doing this.
Um, checking the weather reports first so they can strike. The clouds go up into the sky and then it rains oil on down on the population. I mean, they want to stoke civil unrest like what we're about to see go down in the city of Towapso. It's really becoming like a social experiment. In Russia's perm, a fire spread to additional tanks, storage tanks following a Ukrainian attack. The area was engulfed in thick black smoke.
Okay, so look, this this is about uh 4 hours, 5 hours after the attacks. As you can see, the sky literally uh turned black and then of course, as is the custom, it began to rain and the Russians started griping about, well, the skies are black and now it is raining. It's an afternoon uh spring shower. It's on their clothes. It's all over their cars. It's seeping now into their houses. And uh here's another view. Um you got understand this is 1,900 kilometers from Ukraine. This is it's the same distance from Ukraine, I guess, to like Portugal.
I mean, this this is this is crazy. And nothing has changed in uh in terms of Ukraine's drones. This is just that Russia has no uh has no air defenses.
And here's where it is. Uh I had I mean look how far I had to zoom out on the map just to show um where this is. This is Perm just crazy strikes. Oh, just a reminder guys if you guys can uh subscribe I would appreciate it. They uh they push the videos out uh way more when uh we get a lot of subscribers and um you know for the first I've had this channel now nine months. For the first eight months I didn't ask anyone to subscribe and uh I realized that was probably a mistake. So just a reminder, hit subscribe. It's free and it helps with the reach on these videos which is the uh real point of uh doing these things that uh that I do here. And it wasn't only as I said it wasn't only perm you guys another uh I mean the far reaches of Russia are just becoming Ukraine's playground now. An oil refinery in Russia's orenberg region was reportedly targeted by drones overnight.
Look this is the last one. I'm not going to there were some other things they hit last night too but I'm not going to make this show all about uh burning Russian oil refineries and storage facilities.
Uh anyway, this is soon after the strikes. The strikes are about, I guess, about 2:00 a.m. I mean, it's a distance.
These these drones are traveling all night. Anyway, this is Or and here is Or way over by Kazakhstan. And subsequently, one of our drones apparently went into Kazakhstan and crashed like a kilometer inside the country or something. And um Ukraine's Ministry of Foreign Affairs is dealing with that. I think the Kazaks understand that um it's nothing malicious, of course. And just to just to zoom out a little bit on this uh Ukraine strikes on Russia's key oil pipeline junctures uh which those are by the way uh appears to be aimed at blockading threequarters of the economy of Russia and this is something I noticed because we hit Yaroslav just uh a couple days ago and now we hit Perm and these are major junctures in the whole all these all this oil that is sucked from the far reaches of the savage Russian hellscape.
It all comes out here and it has to go through one of these junctures and the other one or is right around here to so it looks like it looks like every night this is just the way it's going to be until until the storage facilities make it so that drilling is impossible when you if you're drilling oil and you can't store it anywhere uh and you can't export it and you can't even run it through a pipeline because all your pumping stations are destroyed. I mean this is this is the end of the Russian economy you guys and now we are getting the unrest that I believe uh this situation really warrants and people are stepping out of the propaganda matrix.
Here's one of Russia's famous bloggers, journalists. Can't we set up proper air defenses? Russian journalist propagandist Alexander Uroatkin complains that that Ukraine is destroying the country and further than whines that other than Moscow, Russia has no air defenses. Now, it's Moscow and it's Putin's palace is uh he's got a ton of air defenses down there. So, don't worry. His palace is going to be just fine. But you sir, you you are not uh raids on our critical infrastructure.
He says energy infrastructure are continuing and there is nothing we can do about it. This Russian says though quite frankly I don't understand what the problem is. What is the conundrum?
Because these drones, what are they exactly? He says the Russian says this isn't even the level of the Great Patriotic War.
What it's World War II for normal people. Uh, they're just some wooden things made out of slats, out of sticks.
Can't we set up a proper air defense against them? No, because they're protecting Putin's palaces. Look at that guy. Yeah, that's that's why you guys come to this channel. I know. This this this should be the mascot, I think, of uh I don't know, some softball team in Minneapolis or something. Uh, can't we set up a proper What is What is the problem then? Why did they destroy our ports near Lenenrad? He says, "So they dragged all the air defenses toward Moscow.
When you drive around the Moscow region, you see these towers with pancer systems on top. Yeah." The Russian further laments. You see actual air defense installations. He says there, "Yes, they are f they are there in other regions. Well, I haven't seen them so often.
And where are these mobile groups? In the Voron region, in the Tombbo region?
No, no, no, no, no, no. You don't get that. Where are they in other regions?
No, this is to protect the small circle around Putin. And just a shout out to my friends at Defeatnik. This is a Defeatnik. This is the very heavy keychain bottle opener made from the 800 kilogram barrel of a destroyed Russian tank here in Ukraine. As you can see, the entire production process is online.
Every Defeatnic has its own serial number. You can take that serial number, type it into the website and you can find out where in Ukraine your particular defeat Nick was defeated. I know these guys, one of these guys I've known for over 10 years. They are engaged not only in humanitarian efforts but uh in drone efforts as well. Very good guys. The uh URL on that is defeatnik df a tn i k.com. And it comes in two different models here. The metalhead version and the more familyfriendly version there. Uh ladies and gentlemen, and here's the Defeatnik uh in action here among uh among the wood piles. It's a very cool product. Check it out if you get a chance. Uh defeatnik, df a tn n i k.com.
And the Russian blogosphere continues to descend into bedum. Russian zblogger Yenni Goldman again, who is always bringing us the hits as of late. Uh we're effed, he says. We're totally effed. 80% of my friends closed down their businesses. The system has failed.
They've been lying to Vladimir Vladimir Vladimir Putin and they keep on lying.
So yes, he must have made a mistake in the past couple weeks or really kind of ripping into everybody. And so this is probably like this is a sort of a side apology to then say, "Look, bad boy ours. I wish the boys would tell Putin how bad it is. If only Putin knew how bad it was." And he finishes with a great excuse. if thesar only knew he'd fix everything. And he he often does these uh he has pretty large Telegram audience though, so a lot of people are seeing this guy's videos. What's up you pushovers? How's it going? How's the situation? F my poor Russian people. He further laments. Ladies and gentlemen, this Russian is not happy with the uh the uh four-year genocidal um failed war there in Ukraine. For F's sake, what's the what the f are you doing? We're being destroyed. We're being humiliated.
Gypsies are beating us up. Talking about the Ukrainians apparently when he says gypsies. I don't know understand that can I guess. Uh yeah, that's just Russian racism. That's how they do it.
Guys, I'm telling you, wake the f up now or it'll be too late. Yes. What? So he wants to wake up Putin. Like Putin's just like slumbering there or he's just so uh embroiled in his work behind the desk at the Kremlin. He has no idea what's going on in the country. I guess that's the message here. Total [ __ ] is coming. Actually, it's already here. He says, "F it. The financial system is about to go tits up. No matter what happens, no matter what some [ __ ] is bullshitting on TV, we're effed. We're just totally effed." He says, "All my friends, damn it, 80% of them closed their businesses, shut down their construction sites because surviving is impossible now." Wow. doesn't doesn't sound like things are going well right now. Uh and that's why I like to look I like to listen to the regular Russian people. That's how you get the real view of uh of all this. The Russian people are being squeezed, beaten, stabbed, and killed. How we live. We've been effing living like crazy all the time. The sad Russian further laments.
This is how we live. Living in an effing surreal nightmare. Uh god damn it, he says. And guys, we're slowly getting effed over. This is a not a happy Russian, ladies and gentlemen. I told you for F's sake, carve out some land.
Plant some potatoes. Yes, subsistence living is probably the future. But that's not going to work if your uh if your soil is filled with um burned oil, is it? You should have done it by spring, damn it. If you don't make it, get to it ahead. Yes, plant your potatoes so you don't starve to death, you Russians. At least you'll dig up some potatoes in the fall. F. He finishes it. Period. This system failed.
They've been lying to Vladimir Vladimir.
They've been lying to Putin, apparently.
Putin has no idea what's going on. He's just he's so busy trying to run the country apparently. Uh no idea. And they keep on lying. Yes, they're all lying to Putin. Those bad boys. The world is against us. We won't find justice. The Russian says people are running away. We need to change, guys. Change everything.
Otherwise, we're effed. He says, either the country has already been split into three parts. Godamn it. You [ __ ] just say it then. Those who will be more or less happy about it, go back to Siberia. I'll celebrate the holiday now, but after May 15th, I'm going to start some [ __ ] Yes. What? He's going to go after the boars. Is that what he's going to do? Yes. He's going to send a smoke signal to Putin because f it. There are nothing but [ __ ] and roosters everywhere. Uh the Russian further laments, "Keep on crowing all you want. You've effing tired me out already, you goddamn bitches." Well, that doesn't sound like a very happy Russian, folks. And I think um maybe we're probably going to be hearing um a lot more of this as time goes on. And this morning, Ukraine just uh so the day started very cryptically with this message. Um as you can see, our buddy Ward translated put this up, a screenshot from uh a tweet from unmanned systems forces, Ukraine's unmanned systems forces, and it just said, "Today is a pretty good day." And we didn't know what that meant. Uh and he just posted very interesting hints coming from the unmanned systems forces. Uh we're waiting for further details. And the details were just as awesome uh as we um well, more awesome than we thought. This afternoon, Ukraine's unmanned systems forces took out two of Russia's helicopters in the Vorenez region. And it's not that we took out two helicopters, you guys. And I'll get into the Russian reaction, and you'll understand what a big deal it is in a second. Roughly 100 kilometers, 150 kilometers from the line of contact. You guys, you remember about a year ago, we were stoked if we could get like 35 kilometers out. And uh today, the Russians weren't ready for this at all.
They have a whole bank of helicopters just sitting there because the Russians had no idea that we were going to be able to uh be able to do this. A temporary staging site where MI28 and MI17 helicopters were undergoing refueling and maintenance was targeted by uh Ukrainian drone crews and we took out an MI28 and an MI7.
I'll show you the footage in a second.
We actually got apparently one of their guys. I can't show you the actual point of contact because this is YouTube, but it it's all over Twitter. The operation was carried out on April 29th and here we go ladies and gentlemen and uh the Russians the the Russian reactions are the best part of this but but this is equally as awesome. I can't show you the point of impact. So it's a couple helicopters sitting there and uh the Russians thought they were totally safe.
150 kilometers from the front line. You guys, these are not the longrange drones. This is just our little baby drones that now we have something that we have something new. uh either it's real layers or I don't know we'll find out later and even if I knew about it I wouldn't tell you what the heck it is.
We don't want the Russians figuring out what the heck we're uh doing right now.
So this is in Voron and um yeah so 150 kilometers is now is is is now the kill zone and as you see there and uh you can see there's a bloke down there. It looks like he's trying to fix the helicopter or something. Uh and then anyway, so the drone uh this was from the recon drone and then things went horribly, horribly arry right about. And victim number two, ladies and gentlemen, this is an MI28 helicopter famed for committing all sorts of atrocities at the beginning of this war, but uh Ukrainian armed forces has been dismantling them at a fairly rapid clip as of uh well 2026 was a great year. And anyway, there's a Russian over there fleeing and I can't show you the rest of this. Anyway, uh goes down and takes out this um takes out another helicopter and uh I can't show it to you. You can check it out. You can check it out on Twitter, but uh the Russian reaction, ladies and gentlemen, because now nobody is safe.
Uh they already knew they were I mean they were already lamenting that uh Ukraine was hitting what 80 kilometers or so. Now it's uh it's a whole new game as of today. The footage of the strikes on helicopters more than 150 kilometers behind the front line hasn't gone down well in pro-Russian channels. Mostly the complaint is that internet shutdowns and VPN bans were done under the guise of in quote security. Yet drones can freely hit these targets. So I mean all this internet stuff shutting down telegram they use this whole security thing you know as as the guys to shut down well Russians rights and has nothing to do with security because it's actually made them less secure and Ukraine is just hitting they're hitting more than they have ever hit I mean not only in the deep rear 1900 km uh 2 days ago hitting Katarinberg 2200 kilometers uh another one 2,000 kilometers a few days ago anyway here's the Russian limitations ladies and gentlemen so that internet restrictions aren't helping at all. This Russian says it's no longer possible to comment on all of this within the framework of complying with the laws of the country. This Russian is afraid he's going to say something that may wind him up in the pokey in the in the clink. The internet will be shut down and the attacks will stop immediately everywhere. There will only be channel one. That's what I told. It's not going to be just channel one, you guys. Uh the it's going to be 1984. It's going to be like a poster of Putin and that's going to be the full extent uh the full summation of all entertainment that's going to be allowed in Russia. You will be you will be allowed to stare at that for two hours a day and that will be um everyone will be given um their own little Putin poster. It's all because of the VPN.
Yes. ban the internet so there's no bad news and immediately go to negotiations with our respected partners from the Ukrainian Reich and uh the USA and NATO and the Netherlands. That's why they ban the internet and telegram so that people don't get nervous. Well, this Russian is starting to get it. The internet restriction is a smokeokc screen to keep us all from knowing the whole truth from the front lines. Yeah, well that's one of the things uh to prevent us from understanding the overall situation.
This Russian says, "After all, the powers that be in the Kremlin are afraid of the people's truth, and they're feeding us lies through TV channels owned by the Kremlin." You understand?
None of this was possible to say just I don't know what, 45 days ago, maximum 60 days ago. I mean, things are just uh the Russians are now just saying what they want. And uh this is a very very good trajectory, you guys. I'm feeling very very positive about things. And here's another Russian military blogger.
Russian military bloggers in their daily astonishment as to how Ukrainians continue to do the things that they do today lamenting another record-breaking distance with zero interference from Russian countermeasures. And that's what this Russian refers to it as. He says um the UAVs flew a record-breaking distance for their size because these are just our small drones. But uh small just a small drone and a Russian helicopter, just a parked Russian aircraft. Uh that is enough. Uh the UA the UAVs flew a record-breaking distance for their size and without any communications interference and he goes into the it's two kamicazi type aircraft an MI8 and an M28. They met there in the Vores region and things did not go well. And on the US foreign policy front as it relates to Ukraine once again the Pentagon is blocking 400 million in congressionallymandated Ukraine aid. Congress approved this in the budget committee. According to Republican Senator McConnell speaking to the Washington Post, Republican Republican majorities in both armed services committees approved 400 million for the Ukraine service initiative uh security initiative uh for the next two years. The budget committee approved the funds for fiscal year 2026 by an overwhelming majority, but the Pentagon never released the money. The same thing happened last year. here. And once again, it's the same guy blocking it.
Deputy Secretary of Defense Elbridge KBY. I believe personally, I believe there's many Kim Philby types. Maybe you don't know who he is. Google him. I believe there's many sort of Kim Philby types that are infesting the Trump administration. It's happened in history before. I know. I know you're going to be in my comments. You know, you can't say that about the Trump administration.
You know, I understand. Okay, that's great. Um that that's cult behavior, guys. But, uh you can say it. Fill the comments all you like. Um but look, it's happened all throughout history and what we have now is I believe is absolutely um no different. And u anyway, look, there's no reason and there's not going to be a reason given for him blocking this. It's congressionally mandated and he's just doing his part for some reason. And uh I guess we won't find that out uh until much later. And uh further on the foreign policy front uh from America, just crazy things are happening. We have yet another US ambassador resigning because of Trump's pro Putin nonsense. Uh you may have already heard this uh Julie Davis, this is the US ambassador to Ukraine, resigning uh having grown frustrated with Trump's dwindling support for Ukraine. Uh Davis's resignation follows that of her of her predecessor, Bridget Brink, who resigned for similar reasons early last year. And here's a post from Bridget Brink. This is she's the one who resigned uh just last year. Um, I resigned as US ambassador uh to Ukraine when Trump kept siding with Putin over our democratic partner. Now, my successor is doing the same. I knew I had to speak out and run for office because siding with dictators is just not who we are. Apparently, she's running uh for office. And uh look, this is just uh this is just uh more uh more nonsense out of the Trump administration, and it's rather unfortunate. And ladies and gentlemen, for those familiar with the podcast, this is the point in the show in which I give you a moment to go grab that box of Kleenex or to maybe go over there and call, say, call a loved one or maybe to bring over your support Labrador or I saw one guy in the comments, he had a support guinea pig and then another guy is actually raising support hamsters.
You know, you can never have enough uh support, ladies and gentlemen. And uh you know, the Russians are suffering, ladies and gentlemen. And um things are not going well all across the savage Russian hell state. And uh so we we need to uh we need to have some sympathy, a little bit of sympathy or maybe none. I don't know. But uh look, this is the point in the podcast where we delve deeply into the world of Russian lamentations.
And this particular Russian ladies and gentlemen, he is a famous Russian celebrity. His name goes by the name of Phipe Kurkov and he can play at your birthday party for about $150,000 plus expenses you have to provide the uh apparently you have to provide all the uh flights and everything. So if there's any Russian oligarchs out there that are into something like that, I of course wouldn't do such a thing. But anyway, he apparently is lamenting the fact that he can nobody no longer buy luxury goods, ladies and gentlemen. And here he is because he's Russian. And if you show up to Christian Dior or any of these uh you know any of these luxury good makers like uh goods makers like Balenciaga for example, you cannot you they will turn you away. They're not allowed to sell to Russians as awesome as that is. Anyway, here he is and um when he tells the interviewer, just take a look at the interviewer's face. I he is as shocked as I know he will be. I've been blacklisted at Balenciaga.
Oh my god. Now look at the interviewer's face. Oh my god. Let's watch him again.
Look at the interview. Oh my god. Yes, it's incredible. And I that's why I give you time to get the Kleenex, you guys, because I am I am as upset about it as you. I mean, I had to recover before I could even get in front of the camera today, ladies and gentlemen. And here he just whines about the camp by Valencia Balenciaga and things are not going well amid his uh I mean, I guess this is in his house and these are his these decorations in his house. Pretty pretty wild. Let's look at those. Yeah, I don't know like golden dolphins and I don't know pink purse and this is a very I wouldn't say unique individual but he has been one of Putin's main cheerleaders you guys. He is as genocidal as the rest of the Russian elite and there he is just complaining about it and we've seen the Russians complaining and uh well that's all for today's Russian limitations period you guys. Um but uh we'll have more for you later. And if you guys remember yesterday, I got into a little bit of the story, but there's been a lot of developments uh ever since. Uh let's just start here. Um a video was leaked online showing the completed certificates for freezing Russians citizen Russian citizens money initiated by the central bank of the Russian Federation. In the video, an employee of the Department of Monetary Circulation and Settlements shows the already mass-produced irrevocable savings certificates, which will soon be widely used at that at at least VTB Bank and Spurbank, though that's like 80% of all the banks in Russia. Those are the two largest banks. And I showed this video to you yesterday, but the story has uh since grown and some Russian leaked this and it's just rooms full of boxes and boxes, millions of these. And apparently these are going these are the uh hard certificates that they're going to be handing you at the bank to explain why you cannot get your money out. Anything over I think it's 2.8 million rubles you are not going to be able to get that money out and you're going to receive a certificate an IOU right and today it's starting all to make sense. Okay. Um this is the first part of it. Putin regime now saying anything that they can to get Russians to pour their money into banks that will soon loot depositors to pay for the war. And these are they wheeled out today a bunch of Russian finance ministry people and central bank people to urge people to take their money out of the ma out of their mattresses literally out of mattresses and bring them to banks to deposit them.
You know um finance minister Antonua this is from commerce. This is mainstream Russian media. I merely just translated it into English stated that the money hidden under the pillow depreciates depreciates and does not contribute to the economy. And how I we we spoke about this yesterday here on this channel and uh really it looks like the Putin regime is going to raid the deposits. They made the laws like two years ago, two or three years ago that enables this to enables them to do this during uh emergency situations. And it looks like that's uh looks like they're setting the table to actually do this you guys. So this is I mean if you want some Russian limitations, we're going to see them uh in spades uh very shortly.
And then not only him, but they also uh the Russian central bank uh the lady that runs the central bank Elvra came out in uh media. Russian savings are now the main source of funding for for the country's economy. Central Bank Chief Elvra Nabi Uolina said it outright.
Before 2022, major businesses relied on cheap Western loans using foreign capital to expand. After sanctions, that access was cut off. Now the economy is increasingly dependent on domestic funds amid high inflation and steep interest rates. And uh they she was on the cover of every Russian newspaper today just reciting a series of these little bullet points about how people need to take their cash and put it in the banks and but also this other you know this whole other side of it how it's like patriotic to um you know to help you really to what's maybe they have to save the banking sector and they're not talking about it. I don't know but this is a developing story. We don't have all the pieces yet, but things are getting very uh strange across the Savage Russian hellscape, you guys. And uh I guess that's all I've got for you today. So, um let's see what happens tonight.
There's going to be a lot of strikes again tonight. I imagine hopefully we won't have to wait another two days but um long range strikes and uh this just every morning we wake up and see beautiful beautiful things not just in all across Russian occupied Ukraine but all across Russia itself deeper and deeper as our buddy Bananov so famously uh said. It's all I've got for you guys.
Thanks a lot. Have a good one.
