Antony Blinken called for a ceasefire a day after October 7, then deleted it as hell unleashed

[00:00:00]Some important understand is that two things. Number one, that to immediately right away on October 7th, Secretary of State Tony Blinken sent out a tweet calling for a ceasefire. People forget this. So, at some point there was a decision made in the immediate aftermath that they were going to go for broke.

[00:00:15]They were going to go for it. They wouldn't call it a genocide. They would say we're going to not stop until we quote unquote eliminate Hamas, but effectively that's the same policy.

[00:00:22]Eliminating indigenous guerrilla forces uh with some modicum of support, 40-50% depending on the poll you look at, is impossible by definition, something later admitted by Tony Blinken uh both in January of 2020 uh 4 and in January 2025 publicly. Or they were going to just kill some arbitrarily high number of Palestinians as as a as as medieval recompense to sort of discipline them.

[00:00:41]What they call mowing the grass, but on steroids, basically. Not to mix analogies or mix metaphors. And that was obvious. So, what you needed to to do that was you needed to remove calls for a ceasefire, which again were pro forma.

[00:00:53]Again, the Secretary of State used that language right away before deleting the tweet. It it'd been used in 2021, 2018, 2014, 2012, 2009, these various kind of mowing grass episodes where Israel killed 200, 500, 1,500 people.
