[00:00:00]Here's the truth about social media algorithms. You will get fed what you communicate with. So, what do I mean by that?

[00:00:09]You are going to see things based on what you like, what you comment on, and what you search. And so, what this does is it feeds one train of thought typically most of the time unless you're very intentional about what you want to see on the algorithm. And a lot of people don't understand that. And so, they have a certain political belief or they have a certain belief in the way that they, you know, diet or market themselves or whatever the case might be. And they feel validated constantly because that's all they see on their feed. It's like, "Yeah, there's another person the same thing. It's another person the same thing."

[00:00:47]Understand that what you see is based on what you have interest in. And so, if you want to truly do wider market research, you have to get outside of your algorithm because it's not going to give you things that don't benefit what it believes you want to see. And as a business owner, we want to train your social media so that it reaches those people that are searching in that same type of content. And that's why having similar content that is around your clients' interests and your prospects' interests is so key because that will start to pop up because the algorithm will 100% feed it directly to them.

[00:01:29]That's the beautiful thing about it. And that's the terrible thing about the algorithm is that it can give you things that validate maybe a self-belief, but it can also allow you as a business owner to get your content in front of the people that you want to reach.
