Speculation over, Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah announces decision to step down

[00:00:00]Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah is learned to have informed his cabinet colleagues of his decision to resign on May 28th, 2026.

[00:00:09]It was announced during the breakfast meeting hosted by the Chief Minister at his residence.

[00:00:16]While sharing his decision to step down, the Chief Minister informed the cabinet that he had been asked to do so by the Congress High Command.

[00:00:31]Siddaramaiah is learned to have spoken about the achievements and challenges in his second term and thanked the ministers for their cooperation.
