The Supreme Court is set to rule on two cases: one involving mail-in ballot counting rules that could affect election outcomes, and another addressing the separation between political campaigns and PACs, which would eliminate restrictions on how candidates can direct outside spending from independent expenditure committees.

5/31/26: The Supreme Court is getting ready to rule on two cases that will help Republicans and allAdded:
So, the Supreme Court is getting ready to rule on two cases brought forward by the Trump administration. Um, that's going to help them, but it's also going to help establishment Democrats before midterm elections. The first case uh is being brought by I think it was Mississippi. I don't know which state Republicans there to basically throw away ballots that arrive after election day by people who are voting by mail.
Um, you're they count them several days after the election as long as it's postmarked before the election date. So, mm all I can say is if you vote by mail, like do it weeks in advance. Please, please, please don't wait till the last minute. Better yet, just walk your ballot in. Walk your ballot in, drop it in the mail-in ballot, you know, box.
The other one is actually more important. Well, it's probably equally as important. They want to um eliminate the separation of political campaigns, candidates campaigns uh interacting with PACs that are set up to support them.
So, if you've got you've got all a ton of PACs that Elon Musk runs, the PACs are not supposed to have any interaction with Donald Trump or his campaign, but this would eliminate that. I made a video yesterday talking about how so many PACs now are independent PACs are hiring content creators, for instance, to push messaging.
And they don't have to disclose it.
Um, but now uh let's just say let's just say it's a centrist Democrat candidate. I'm giving a theoretical here.
And it's a PAC, it's a pro-Israel PAC.
Um and this PAC has received $10 million uh to work with to help that candidate.
They're not supposed to talk. The campaign and that PAC staff, they're not supposed to talk with each other. The campaign is not supposed to have give any direction on how they want that $10 million spent. It's up to the PAC to spend it independently to help that candidate. And that would be eliminated so that that centrist Democrat candidate could say, "Ooh, I've got [clears throat] another $10 million to work with.
Please hire these content creators, push this messaging." That is one of a gazillion examples. Apply it to Republicans, apply it to whoever you want. This is a case brought forward by Drum roll, please. JD Vance.
In a further erosion of our democracy, giving corporations and corporate bought and paid candidates so much more power than you and me.
