Strengthening Human Rights Through Youth Engagement

Youth engagement in human rights advocacy varies significantly across different political contexts, with authoritarian regimes creating barriers through fear, repression, and lack of opportunities, while democratic societies face challenges of apathy, bureaucratic complexity, and generational divides; however, effective civic education, coalition-building, and innovative approaches like peer-to-peer engagement and digital literacy can strengthen youth participation in protecting and advocating for human rights globally.
