Trump says US has won in Iran, threatens military action if no deal is reached amid nuclear tension

[00:00:00]What do you hope to achieve by repeating the bombing? You did it for 38 days. Well, no, we did and you did not get the political changes in Iran.

[00:00:08]>> Well, I got I I had a total military victory. But the fake news, guys like you write it incorrectly. You're a fake guy. Guys like you write about it incorrectly. We had a total military victory. I'd like to say on a certain hour, certain day, the bombing's going to stop. I don't want to say that. I can only say that Iran I can say this with very, very strong conviction, Iran will never have a nuclear weapon. Not going to happen.

[00:00:37]And we were getting ready to do a very major attack tomorrow. I've put it off for a little while. Hopefully, maybe forever, but possibly for a little while.

[00:00:46]Cuz we've had very big discussions with Iran and we'll see what they amount to. I was asked by Saudi Arabia, Qatar, UAE, and some others if we could put it off for two or three days, a short period of time because they think that they are getting very close to making a deal and if we can do that where there's no nuclear weapon going into the hands of Iran, I think and if they're satisfied, uh we will be probably satisfied also.

[00:01:14]Uh we've informed Israel, we've informed other people in the Middle East that have been involved with us and uh you know, it's a very positive development, but we'll see whether or not it amounts to anything. We've had periods of time where we had we thought pretty much getting close to making a deal and uh didn't work out, but this is a little bit different. Now, we were ready to go in tomorrow very big and uh not something I wanted to do, but we have no choice because we cannot let Iran have a nuclear weapon, yeah.

[00:01:44]I didn't tell them. I never tell anybody when. You're in constant contact >> I never tell anybody when, but but they knew that we were very close. I would say we were I was an hour away from making the decision to go today.

[00:02:04]And uh no, I we were I had made the decision. So, they called up they had heard I made the decision. They said, "Sir, could you give us a couple more days because we think they're being reasonable." I'm not doing this politically. I'm just Look, everyone tells me it's unpopular, but I think it's very popular. When you when they hear that it's having to do with nuclear weapons uh weapons that could take out Los Angeles, could take out major cities very quick. When they hear that, you know, when they're explained I'll tell you what, when we explain it to people, I don't really have enough time to explain to people. I'm too busy getting it done. Do you know how it is to negotiate with a country where you're beating them badly, they come to the table, they're begging to make a deal cuz they're begging to make a deal. I hope we don't have to do the war, but we may have to give them another big hit.

They're tired of This This should have happened for 47 years. Somebody should have done something about it, and it's going to happen, and it's going to happen fast, and you're going to see oil prices plummet. They're going to come down.

[00:03:13]There's so much oil out there. They're going to come plummeting down. We're going to have to make a little journey down to a place called Iran. We have to stop them. They have nuclear on their mind, and we're not going to let them have a nuclear weapon, and we've done a hell of a job, and we're I think we're going to be finished with that very quickly, and they won't have a nuclear weapon, and hopefully we're going to get it done in a very nice manner. After you said yesterday you were about an hour away from making a decision, where does that stand today? Have you heard anything from them? Very uh right on the borderline, believe me.

[00:03:48]If we don't get the right answers, it It very quickly. We're already to go.

[00:03:52]Uh we have to get the right answers. It would have to be a complete 100% good answers. And if we do, we save a lot of time, energy, and lives, most importantly.

[00:04:14]We're dealing with some people, and we're dealing actually, I must tell you, we're dealing with some very good people. We're dealing with people that are I think far more reasonable than the people that are really no longer with us.

[00:04:31]And we're pretty impressed by it. So, hopefully those people will make a deal that's going to be great for everybody.

[00:04:44]But uh what I like to do if I if I can save war by waiting a couple of days, if I can save people being killed by waiting a couple of days, I think it's a great thing to do.

[00:04:55]Because Iran is going to have a nuclear weapon if we don't stop them. And I said we're going to have to do it, and we have stopped them. They're not going to ever have a nuclear weapon.
