At a United Nations Security Council emergency meeting regarding the Russia-Ukraine conflict, U.S. Representative Tammy Bruce condemned Russia's mass strikes on Kyiv, including the deployment of Oreshnik hypersonic ballistic missiles, as dangerous and barbaric escalations that resulted in civilian casualties and destruction of civilian infrastructure, while Russian Ambassador Vassily Nebenzia defended Moscow's actions and warned of further strikes targeting Ukrainian command centers.

Tammy Bruce Warns Russia At U.N. As Nebenzya Threatens More Kyiv Strikes | DRM News | AC1FAdded:
I thank the representative of Panama for the statement.
>> The latest mass strikes against Kyiv by Russia over the weekend, including the deployment of the Orishnik hypersonic ballistic missiles, are an inexplicable, dangerous, and barbaric escalation.
They are another example of why the Russia-Ukraine war must end immediately and permanently.
Once again, as you've heard from your colleagues, civilians were killed and more than 100 injured.
Museums, public transportation infrastructure, residential buildings, and more were destroyed or damaged.
Deliberate attacks against civilians are obscene and unacceptable.
The United States extends its deepest sympathies to all those affected.
We caution Russia not to mount so-called systematic strikes against Kyiv, which risk further civilian casualties and setting back the prospect of peace.
We note, too, with serious concern, Russia's apparent disregard for the protections afforded to diplomatic facilities and personnel under under international law.
We remind Russia, in clear terms, of its legal obligations, and we add diplomacy and negotiation are the only path forward towards lasting peace.
Threats and incendiary rhetoric are clearly not part of that path.
Colleagues, the Russia-Ukraine war can only end with a negotiated settlement.
The United States, once again, calls for an immediate and comprehensive ceasefire as a step towards a durable, negotiated end to the war.
>> Mr. President.
We thank the countries have con- >> I would like to draw your attention to the fact that in the current conditions the Russian armed forces continue to consistently deliver systematic strikes against the enterprises of the Ukrainian military industrial complex in Kiev.
Including the locations for the design, production, programming.
And operation for the use of drones used by the Kiev regime with the assistance of NATO specialists who are responsible for the supply of components and for the provision of intelligence and targets.
Acquisitions strikes will be carried out both at decision-making centers and command posts.
And since the above facilities are dispersed throughout Kiev, we warn foreign citizens, including the staff of diplomatic missions and offices of international organizations. About the need to leave the city as soon as possible and residents of the Ukrainian capital not to approach the military and administrative infrastructure of the Zelensky regime.
