Government accountability requires transparency and checks on power, as demonstrated by the $1.776 billion DOJ settlement involving the Trump family, which critics argue represents unchecked corruption where taxpayer funds are used to provide legal immunity to political figures, raising concerns about democratic governance and the separation of powers.

Drake is BACK + Kevin Hart Roast Backlash + Trump’s $1.7B Slush FundAdded:
Is Drake back on top or is his reputation still cooked? Was the Kevin Hart roast real comedy or racism with the laugh track? And did the president just use a lawsuit to legally rob the American taxpayer? We're getting into all of it and more. Welcome to AM Mornings. I'm your host, Alex Media.

Every caller ends with the dilemma of the week. This week's dilemma is a little silly. Would you rather eat through your backside or go number two out of your mouth? And then there's one last piece of housekeeping. Let's get off the internet after you finish watching this show and let's vibe in real life. I've partnered up with All Love Racket Club for the Tennis for the People summer Clinics. This is a we we rent four courts. We have a bunch of drills, a bunch of gameplay. We give out free giveaways. There's music, food, drinks. It's a really fun time. We got DJ MoMA on the decks. Uh whether you're a 3 like me or you've never picked up a racket, this event is for all skill levels. Um head over to theallloclub.com to secure your spot right now. The next event is July 25th. All right, so I'm excited for today's show. To help me break all this down, I got my guy Lenny here. And also, uh, we brought in one of our biggest supporters and regular co call callers, Tel Nak Nyak is in the building. Just call him Big Tage cuz that's what he is. It's Big Tage. Big Tage is in the building.
>> You should address him as Dr. Tage. Dr. Dr. Tage.
>> Dr. Tage is in the building.
>> Put some respect on those alphabet letters at the end of, you know.
[laughter] But yes, guys, we'll do all the pleasantries later during the offscript section. We're just going to get right into topic one. Drake just dropped a three album project and forced the world to pay attention. But is the boy actually back or is the culture totally done with him? Let's break down the facts. On May 15th, Drake dropped his ninth studio album, Iceman, along with two extra surprise albums, Habibi and Made of Honor. The roll out, especially that massive ice sculpture stunt, seemed to be a marketing win. And the numbers are crazy. Iceman is projected to do 460,000 first week units with all three projects combining for over 680,000.
So, let's not be stupid. Drake is not washed. But the issue was never whether people would press play. The issue is whether people still respect him the same after Kendrick, after not like us, and after the lawsuit. The Drake defenders say the numbers end the debate. He took the worst hit of his career and still made the whole industry stop. Even people who hate Drake had to listen so they could explain why they hate him. That is not a dead career.
That is a superstar who still controls attention. The other side says he did not fix the damage. He just made a lot of noise. There is a difference between being popular and being respected.
McDonald's sells a lot of food that doesn't make it the best burger in town.
And the lawsuit made it worse. In hip-hop, if you lose a battle, you just get back in the boot. You don't ask the judge to repair your aura. Here's my take. Drake is commercially back.
There's no debate about that. But culturally, uh, he's not all the way back yet. He's in the room, but he's not sitting at the head of the table like nothing happened. People are listening, but the room is still kind of whispering. And to Drake, that might be worse than hate. Lenny and Ta, if Drake takes the top three album spots this week in America, can we still say his reputation is damaged?
>> Absolutely not. This is called dominating the market. You could be culturally whack to the masses, but still commercially popping. Like, you could still run the game, dominate the streams, and still be that guy and like, you know what, I'm not [ __ ] with Drake. But can I just say we probably wasn't like there's a soft side of Drake everybody knows about. It's no secret.
So, he does something like the lawsuit and other things, the the stunt, you know. Uh, he's just Drake doing Drake [ __ ] >> Yeah. But lyrically, from what I understand, what I've seen so far, because I haven't dived into the whole albums, all three of them. But lyrically, it seems like he's on he's on his game. He's doing his thing. It's just that you seem to be on a little bit of a soap box with the makeums and all that [ __ ] So, like, let's get off of that. Maybe you do like you do a intro and you just get it all out >> and then you let the I mean all all actually I won't say all three albums but definitely Ice Man a lot of it is uh you know him talking about how much he's been wronged and like >> Yeah. And he sound like a [ __ ] >> I mean he did go through the worst thing of his career. Like that was a big hit.
>> Yeah.
>> You can just get over the next day.
>> And look at that culture and and but it's a culture hit, right? Yeah, >> but he releases three albums and now we back.
>> Hey, >> it's good music, right?
>> How do you feel? How do you feel about the albums? First of all, did you get to you get a chance to listen?
>> No. [laughter] >> Okay. So, so maybe his uh stunts didn't work for you to tune in.
>> So, I'll say this about Drake. Why three albums, right? Like, did he could he have taken like the best five out of each, put it into an album, and send it?
Wouldn't that be a way better situation for him that like he would have would have had a classic album? I just wonder if Drake when's his last classic.
>> It's funny honestly I think this was the smartest move because he has been putting out such different type of music his whole career and so many people like me for example I don't like singing Drake. I don't want to hear the slow songs. Whenever he puts those on albums I skip those. So he literally just made three albums depending on what style of Drake you like. And now I haven't touched Habibi, that's the R&B singing one, but I really like Ice Man and I like Made of Honor.
>> So it's like it's perfect for me. You give me albums that I listen to and there's less skips on it in my opinion.
>> But like with a Spotify playlist, you can make your own album, right? Like you can take whatever songs you want.
>> The problem with Drake is that like right now he's trying to >> he's trying to gain credibility back as a musician, as an artist, not like a marketer because we know he's top-notch for that. M >> and the problem is is that like he just everything he's put out since >> what Scorpion I guess everything's been diluted. It's been 20 songs, 30 songs, flooding Spotify in most numbers, whatever. That's great. But like as an artist, that's where he's probably keeps himself up at night. Like that's the thing that everyone gets him with Kendrick. It's always the thing that keeps him, you know, number two to Jay-Z or whatever you want to say it. It's just that he just doesn't he needs to put out quality music. He made enough money. He has enough whatever. owns Canada. Just just do that and you're good.
>> So, are we saying that it's too much output? I mean, >> too much of a low quality output.
>> I mean, just the consensus. I don't know about you, but it seems like a lot of people, hip-hop heads, they're really enjoying this one. Um, they they they're saying I hear a lot of people say, "Oh, well, lyrically, he's doing really good for this this one." I think it's just the Iceman one.
uh if you're putting out and like you said he's putting out all these these songs and then you can make your own little Spotify listen like he's doing a good job. I mean you can now modify what you can listen to whether you want the R&B, you want the rap, some other [ __ ] you can now tailor make major your your playlist.
>> I said this about Drake on flagrant and I uh I had some people from Canada in my DM. though. Like Drake is a fun person to hate and he's he's fun to hate because like he does have a little bit of the corniness to him, but he also has been on top. So it's almost like hating on the Patriots. Like when the Patriots was running a game, it was fun to hate on the Patriots. Like you got this Tom Brady, he's [ __ ] um cleancut guy married to a [ __ ] supermodel winning all these championships. It's fun to hate the Patriots, but like I don't think this was a big win for Toronto. I don't know if it's been a win for Drake. I don't think he's recovered.
>> The numbers are good, right?
>> Yeah, but he's always does numbers. The culture. I think he lost the culture in a way that I don't know he'll ever get it back.
>> Does it really? Because with the whole battle between him and Kendrick.
>> So, he lost the culture. So, you think he's cares about the culture going forward? If you're still making money and if you're still getting the streams, which means just because you lost the battle doesn't mean that you're still not hopping. People are still going to want to listen to you. Like you said, even the haters are listening to make sure that they could justify their hate on him. So I'd say in a roundabout way, culturally, he's still, I don't know, maritable. If if he's getting people in an uproar, not an uproar, but if he's got haters enough to say this is trash, whatever, but they're listening to it again and again and again, he's doing his job. It's a different piece.
>> Yeah. But I think he also wants to be respected. like when you are or you've been in the game for all this time and you've been known as like hey you're that top guy like he had the respect I think he lost the respect almost like you know how uh when the uh boy band era >> like the inscreen boys all those guys it's like every they spun like those music like they were top uh of the charts all the time but people didn't really respect them as artists >> that's a good point right so like the thing with Backstreet Poison all that stuff right like they stayed number one for however many weeks, right? But here, like Drake gave three albums. It takes time. We all got kids. We don't got time to listen to this stuff. And then next week, someone's going to drop something and we're going to forget about Or if he did it every if he did it like every month, one album came out, he would have stayed his name would have been lasting longer just by marketing aspect.
>> It's too It's too early to tell on that one because right now he's going to take I think the top three spots in America and that would never happen before.
>> That's crazy. It hasn't been done since Michael Jackson.
>> Never happened. Yeah. Like, so again, commercially he's winning if he's he's projected to win that. You don't think at the cuz culturally we're like, "Oh, black culture or hip-hop culture." At the end of the day, that is played out.
I'm sorry. Like, oh yeah, but you you you a [ __ ] You were this. You that. We all knew you were singing ass nick. We know you saw you from Canada. Decraci you in a wheelchair in the wheelchair.
Like, we know all that [ __ ] We don't care. But he still puts the [ __ ] out.
And you know what? You know what the best part about him is? No matter what you say or think about him, he's still going to drop whatever he wants to drop.
>> All right. He might have took a L on the battle, which I personally don't think he took that L.
>> What?
They not like us was fantastic. But you know what's better? You know what's happened? It's just super catchy. You could dance and all that extra [ __ ] Yeah. Yeah. But all the stuff that he left for I still think I still think Drake won that.
>> That's Drake.
>> Listen, >> this is your This is your worst take ever.
>> No. Ever.
>> They're not like us. Whatever this name of the damn song is, it is super catchy.
is popping or whatever. But I don't think it it killed him the way it did. I don't think so.
>> Lenny, this hurt his [ __ ] reputation.
Everybody's calling it.
>> Oh, but remember because of the gimmick.
Everybody loved the song because you could really It was It's the club banger. It's You could dance. You could do everything. Everybody loves a nice little dance, a nice little gimmick.
That's a gimmick song. That's just a commercial song that wasn't a battle song.
>> That was a commercial.
>> Did you miss all the other songs in the band?
>> No. No. I didn't picked them apart that >> so you know they all those other songs Drake put out he didn't put he didn't do work too >> it didn't connect as much >> I don't know about that person Kendrick went on a [ __ ] victory run after that >> he won I'm not saying he did >> Drake is still soaking about this [ __ ] battle >> and that's because he's a [ __ ] [laughter] >> but he I honestly don't think lyrically he until not like not like us it was like oh okay we're going back and forth okay cool but it became so commercialized it's so gimmicky it is Oh, okay. Everybody dances. This is so hot.
>> Yeah, you want to hear it at the party, so automatically it's a win.
>> But don't you think it's lightweight competition right now?
>> Who's number If he's one, two, three, who's four, five, six?
>> Oh, you're saying >> about the hip-hop or just >> That's interesting. I'm not uh so well verssed in like [laughter] in the music space right now. I would Some people say NBA Young Boy. Um you know, you still got to put Cole in there.
>> Yeah, it's I don't know. Did Cole do good numbers on that release? I don't know.
>> It wasn't impactful. We He get Remember, we were talking about it on this show.
>> He left the States. He's off playing basketball >> and [laughter] is doing terrible. I've seen the highlights. It's god awful.
Give it that up. Keep rapping.
>> [ __ ] Is Drake done? So, you don't think Drake is done?
>> No, he's not done by a long shot.
>> Do you think Drake's done?
>> I think he's been done >> to respect been done >> again. When is his for me as a music guy, when's the last time he's had like he has bangers here and there, right?
You'll have singles, you'll top stuff, but in terms of like classic like 90s, 2000s, like give me an full album start to finish. Give me a a journey, a ride.
Kendrick's done that. But like when does Drake last like Take Care 2011? Like that's when you can like I'm listening to the album from start to finish, not hitting skip.
>> Love it all. It's fire. And I think like Drake still culturally, marketedly, yeah, he's top. He can do it. But I think from musically like the Clips album, right? Like when that came out, start to finish fire.
repeat it.
I would have slowed the roll. I' kept it nice long and just slow release and take out the whole year. Have three albums for the whole year because you're slowly releasing slowly just overwhelming everyone now. It's just like what are you doing?
>> But although very valid point, the deployment of your albums, right? But Iceman is literally lifting the other two up. And as we understand, as I think I understand it, um, from seeing what the people's been saying, this is more of a contract thing.
>> I owe you these albums. I'm trying to get out do my own thing outside of you.
So here, here it is. One shot. I'm done.
And now maybe it's time for him to get to business on what he wants to do and what what he wants to do. Focus on how to put out >> interested in that that project. I'd be interested.
>> But he is right. If maybe you slow roll it and maybe Yeah. the other two are [ __ ] albums. I don't and I don't think they're [ __ ] albums, but maybe the other two are [ __ ] and you just still you roll it out slowly to dominate the whole year. He could have had that opportunity.
>> I That's just one thing I disagree. I think it was good that he put them all three at the same time. You pick what you like and then now wherever you go like say if you're a person into the EDM [ __ ] like hey you'll go out this summer and they'll be playing that. If you like the dance hall [ __ ] then you'll go to your space. like he just serviced everybody in one shot and I think it will last for the remainder of the year because like everybody's running through Iceman but I'm telling you made of honor got the hits on >> that guy got like fun songs on it >> but don't you think he probably should have lined it up with the Coachella maybe a little because he would have dominated >> maybe he doesn't want to do it >> he would have dominated you talk about eyes >> coach I think he's probably lining up for his thing the OBO fest I think that happens like in >> August >> so it's more of a music play I got my own thing This is a slow roll out. You come out of Coachella with one album. OB Fast another Christmas album.
>> Imagine if he imagine if he dropped Imagine if he dropped Habib T by itself.
>> Probably not going to happen.
>> That would be horrible.
>> Yeah.
>> So again, Iceman is boosting other.
>> Do you think people outside of Twitter care about the lawsuit?
>> But does he have a reasonable gripe?
Right. Did they promote Kendrick Song, the the label? Did they promote Kendrick Song over his? I mean, you did.
>> They did. So, >> I think they also promoted his as well.
That's the thing. It's like they're >> Yes. But was it fair and equal? Now, we're talking about two people battling in within the same realm.
>> If they're two of your clients, you got to push them both up. Was it equal play?
And he Listen, all things considered equal, you have a you have a fair gripe if you think something happened. If you were informed, hey, Kendrick was boosted up in a way, we should you should have maybe legal standing on that.
>> Yeah. Okay. Even if that's the case, you lost a battle. It's like it just looks as though oh because you lost now I'm looking for foul play.
>> Yeah. Yeah. For sure.
>> It's like it's like you lost a UFC fight, but you're blaming the rest.
>> You're damn if you do damage. You >> just got to be like, "Yo, you know what?
Things ain't go my way.
>> I'm Listen, I'm with you.
>> But you're damned if you do damage if you go because say he does. Say he does win the battle and he finds out the label still pushing Kendrick more than he is and he sues. You're going to still call him a [ __ ] You're still going to be like, "Yo, why you suing? You won."
>> Well, no. Fair is fair. as like you owe me compensation for the imbalance of promotion. I need that. That's not fair.
So either way, you're going to lose or you're going to lose on both sides of the aisle. So whatever [ __ ] it. I think he's comfortable in his skin. I think by now he's very comfortable in his skin.
>> That's funny.
>> And he's going to do whatever the hell he wants.
>> You and I see a completely different person. He does not look comfortable.
>> What do you mean he doesn't look comfortable? Like every time I see him in public, he's fine.
>> The fact it it shows in the music. Like if you keep harping on stuff, it's like you're bothered by this. Like you feel conflicted. If you were fine, then it's like, "Oh, you let we back outside. We having fun."
>> Let me ask you, didn't Jay-Z have some type of this at Nas? It's not really Yeah.
>> Okay. But it was kind of after we quote unquote, >> stop acting like you're not a New Yorker and we wasn't all listening to Hot 97 when I [ __ ] battled. Didn't Jay-Z have a >> right?
I don't. But here's the thing. I don't care. This is when you was in your rock era.
>> What I'm saying is he went through a hard rock era.
>> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Crazy. [clears throat] Um, [laughter] >> you got it good enough.
>> What you think about the albums?
>> Uh, yo, check out this fit real quick.
It's a little it's a little light, but >> I don't give a [ __ ] about your fit. What you think about the album, [ __ ] >> Yo, that that album was that that album was fire. Well, real quick though, Ta, you have to listen to views if you if you want if you like Take Care. Take Care is some [ __ ] bro.
>> Yeah, but it's all old [ __ ] What about this album?
>> This album, it's fire, bro. Did you not listen to it?
>> You think all three are fire?
>> Yeah, all three are fire. Some of them are Tik Tok songs, but as a fan, I'm pretty satisfied. I don't know why people are tripping. Like the This doesn't take away like the beef. Nothing takes away his $100 million property. It doesn't take away anything he's ever done. Like, >> I think I think what Lenny said was right on the [ __ ] money, though.
Like, he got carried by Future in that song. I'm pretty sure Future didn't even listen to the verse.
Like imag like like imagine like putting out that fire ass horse and then you hear a [ __ ] like halfway through, bro. Come on.
>> I hear you. Okay, let's say you were going through a breakup and that happened two years ago and you put out some music, some type of art, and you're still talking about that breakup.
>> Are you good? Would you say mentally you're good?
>> Yeah. Yeah. I mean, there's artists in the past like Da Vinci, you know, they put out art pieces of their other pieces from the past.
You know what I'm saying? I don't know why you guys are hating so hard. Why Why is everybody trying to hate on the boys so hard [ __ ] work?
>> No disrespect, LT, but some may say you're a Drake Glazer.
>> I see a lot of this terms being thrown.
>> I'm just saying the truth. That's it.
Like what's what what do >> Okay, so what do you give the albums if uh combine all three out of 10? What do you rate it?
>> All three out of 10? [ __ ] All right.
Well, if you don't want me to sound like a drag laser, >> I want you to >> We don't want you to >> I want you to give your honest opinion.
>> Yo, 10 out of 10, bro. Nobody's dropped anything good lately.
>> Nobody's dropped anything good lately, dog. I don't want to hear about poetry, philosophy. I'm trying to have a good time, you know? Everybody's tripping.
>> Okay. So, you really think the suing of the label is just a smart business move?
This is is not affecting his career at all? I mean, if you're looking at it from like the streets, it's definitely gay. But if you're looking at it from the music perspective, I mean, he got called a for no reason. Like, that's crazy.
>> No reason. Uh, it was there was a little smoke there. Not calling him, but he did.
>> I need some hard evidence, bro. I'll stop the glazing once I see some hardcoded evidence. Uh, what about when he brought that girl on stage when he was like 28 and she was 17 and then he asked her her age and then he kissed her. Anyway, >> I did see um there's that one influencer that he's in the car with his kids and every time he picks him up from school or something, he's like riding by and they play songs and he had Drake or whatever and Drake was in the back gave him escalated all this stuff glazing great.
>> But have you seen the comments?
>> No. Everyone's like, "Oh, you singing with a minor because it's it's a minor.
>> They're going in there and it's >> You see that LT? He can't even do something nice for his hand, bro.
>> It's over for him.
>> Yeah. He can't win, bro. He can't win.
But if he something, he would have gotten called a [ __ ] if he didn't do anything. He gets his [ __ ] tongue tongue pulled out like >> Yeah. [laughter] >> All right. I'll take before you go.
>> All right. Would you rather eat through your backside or go number two out of your mouth?
>> [ __ ] [laughter] >> This guy's stressing.
>> You have to be stressed.
>> No, I'm [ __ ] out of my mouth.
>> You're [ __ ] out of your mouth. Okay.
And why? I'm curious why.
>> I still got to be able to enjoy the other way out.
>> But you can't.
>> But [laughter] you can't.
>> Oh my god. Yo, wait, wait, wait. Hold up. Yeah.
Now now he Now he's going to enjoy it fully.
>> There's no at the end of the day. At the end of the day, I do I do this for y'all. Right. [laughter] >> Gang gang. All right. Thanks for calling, man. Yo. All right. This is a new face. What's What's your name? Where you calling in from?
>> Yo, what's happening? Name Sheldon.
Calling out of Philly.
>> Sheldon calling out Philly. All right.
Talk to us first. What is your uh your take on the album?
>> All right. So, first off, Iceman. I loved Iceman. It was He addressed everything that I needed him to for the last two years. Okay.
>> He gave us slaps. He gave us bars. Loved it all. No skips for me. Honestly, there's honestly no skip.
>> No skips. Okay. All right.
>> Yeah. No skips for me. You could put it in the whip. You can go out. You're going to hear it outside. You could got to lock in with work. Whatever you got to do. It's a It's a good vibe. Like Charlemagne said the other day on Brilliant Idiots, Drake's a mood. And for for me and for a lot of other people, that that mood just fits throughout the day. For for Habit, uh I know a lot of people don't like R&B Drake, but honestly, that's how I got on to him back in the day, like when I was in high school, 2009, freshman year, and then I heard I think it was Houston, Atlanta, Vegas, and I was like, I never heard no [ __ ] >> Okay. All right. All right.
>> So, Habit is also my bag. Now, Maid of Honor, Maid of Honor might be the one that you could actually hear the most of because I remember being outside. I was in Cancun when honestly never mind dropped and that first time he dropped it I was like I'm not really feeling this man. I went on the beach had some food on the beach drinks drinks the flow and then you hear you hear Texico green in the background I'm like >> oh no he got he got another one he got he got another one >> so and my my girl she's a white girl Polish girl and bro she got new new Bessie came on and she's like oh like you know what I mean? So like he even though he gets a lot of criticism for like he's all these different skews and whatnot at the end of the day that [ __ ] that [ __ ] don't matter. All these people on Tw all these people on Twitter with fake avatar stuff they'll never run a fair one outside so it don't even matter what they think. So it it doesn't matter. He just got to keep doing >> Drake is back in your book. Drake is back. Do you feel he was ever gone?
>> Uhhuh. Now >> he got he got his ass beat in the battle. Don't get me wrong. Like okay >> like he he did get his ass he got dragged. He got dragged. But to be fair, the best song to me out of them was his song Family Matters. The beat switch just going in on everyone again. Line them all up. Line them up. Knock them all down. I'm with you.
>> Come on. Not like us, bro.
>> Give me So like All right. So So [laughter] like some Alex, you understand you're you're from New York.
>> Yeah.
>> The West Coast West Coast sound is not my thing.
>> I hear you, but that [ __ ] is not my thing.
>> Even for everybody, I was a bot >> 100%. And I get that. But at the same time, and I I heard you guys talk about it with the with the lawsuit stuff, like you're calling another man like on the song. And I'm like, "Yeah, I get it."
Like, you know, that's a vibe. It's a bop, whatever. But Drake's suing even though he says he's suing the label, not suing the man, yada yada, whatever. It's like in real life if someone just calling you a and like there's nothing that sticks to it regardless of him you know what is it 10 years 15 years ago when he kissed the fan on the cheek on the stage >> and maybe the Millie Bobby Brown thing whatever the >> it was sus it was 100% it was sus but like if you're going to put that type of stain of mustard on someone sure we need to see some receipts like >> absolutely >> I I I can't just I can't just rock like you know what I mean I just can't rob it like and the song is a slap It's an undeniable slap. I'm not going to [laughter] I'm not going to lie.
>> Yo, T said release the Drake files is hilarious. Yo, >> bro, that's what Hey, that's what it's got to take. This is what's got to take, but >> I don't know, man.
>> So, culturally, do you feel Drake is back?
>> I don't think he ever left. Um, >> you know, he took a he it hurt him culturally. Like, some people don't even like him saying a [ __ ] anymore. Like, people say he runs to Atlanta just to get some clout. Like uh people people could say that they'll be like no I hate when he says [ __ ] but they'll grow up around kids like white kids in their area. They'll go to rap shows seeing white kids say [ __ ] all day. They'll have some Latinos in like that [ __ ] [laughter] It did. And then and then what did Kendrick do? Publicly embarrassed that girl that you brought on stage to to not say make sure you don't say this word.
It's like why you bring on stage and why you got to you know what I mean? I just thought I thought that was whack.
>> That's whack.
>> Yeah.
>> Yeah. Like >> you celebrate one of your fans but just hey don't say that word. How about you don't say that word? You're so offended by it. Don't say it, Kendrick.
>> Yeah, but then but at the same time, Kendrick, you need to realize what is the makeup of your audience that a lot of your I've been around white people that censor themselves when they're singing around me. I don't know what they do at home, but at least when they're around me, they'll censor the word. Yes.
>> Listen, and this is a whole different conversation. Yeah, >> it's a whole different conversation because >> [ __ ] need to get out of their feelings about others using that word. If you're so if you're going to freely use it, you're offended if they use it from the song they're singing. Get the [ __ ] out of here. I can't stand everybody. This a builder. Get the [ __ ] out of here.
[laughter] >> But he does have he has free reigns to do it. So, whatever, buddy.
>> Oh, god. Ladies, don't get me started on this. I wish we was here last week cuz that would have been a topic. But we would [ __ ] ass need to be in town.
>> My god. [laughter] Before you go, before you go, we got to ask you dilemma this week.
>> Would you rather eat through your backside or go number two out of your mouth?
>> Now, this ain't even a question. You'd rather eat from the backside all day. 10 out of 10.
>> Really on, bro. Okay, here's the reasoning why.
>> Okay, >> you know, you know when you're out and about and you you feel that rumble?
Yeah.
>> You feel like you about to take a [ __ ] You're about to [ __ ] yourself and you're like, "Yo, yo, I got I got to go."
Right? Imagine that's out of your mouth.
You're talking to someone and you're like, "Hold like let me hold I'll be right back. Like you got [ __ ] coming out of your mouth. Like, >> bro, then you got to have that taste in your mouth. Nah, I can't.
>> All right. All right. That's I hear you.
That's the answer. Yo, I appreciate you for calling, man. Thank you so much, brother.
>> I appreciate you guys doing, bro.
>> I kind of want to get y'all answers, but then I want to ask why, and I don't want to like um skew the rest of the answers.
So, we'll wait. We'll wait. We'll wait to off.
>> I can't wait for the doctor.
>> Yeah.
>> All right, [laughter] let's move right along to topic number two. The Kevin Hart roast was supposed to be jokes. Now people are asking if Netflix just put racism in better lighting. Let's break down the facts.
Netflix aired the live roast of Kevin Hart, but some of the comedians came out swinging with some wild and aggressive jokes. You had Tony Kinchcliff told a joke about George Floyd being in hell.
Shane Gillis dropped jokes about the lynching of black people. And Pete Davidson joked about Charlie Kerr catching a bullet in the neck. The backlash has been loud. Chelsea Handler went on Dion Cole's podcast and called the jokes bigoted, racist, and sexist.
But let's be real here. Chelsea Handler is probably just mad because Shane called her out for being a Zionist and having dinner with Jeffrey Epstein, which are both facts. People defending the roast saying a roast is not therapy.
It is disrespect with a microphone.
There are zero rules and nothing is off limits. If you get offended at a roast, you do not belong in the room. They argue that once you start making every joke safe, the roast is dead. Then you have the racist pandering argument.
Critics say, "Stop hiding weak jokes behind comedy." Kevin Hart agreed to be roasted. George Floyd and victims of lynching did not. Making jokes about lynching or someone getting shot in the neck isn't brave. It is just lazy pandering for a cheap internet clout.
Here's my take. I do not want a clean roast. A safe roast is a waste of time.
But if you're going to joke about lynching, George Floyd, or shootings, the joke better be brilliant. If your whole punchline is just saying the ugliest thing possible to get nervous laughter, you aren't pushing boundaries.
You're just being lazy. When the subject is heavy, people aren't mad because they are soft. They are mad because you brought a flamethrower and you couldn't even cook. Ta Lenny, where is the line?
Are these guys protecting the raw art of comedy or just using Netflix's stage to push lazy shock value? Let's start with TA.
>> Not a comedian by trade. Um, >> sure. [laughter] >> Hey, out there. You can tell a little bit, but I don't know. I I I listen I watched it, you know. I think personally I like the Tom Brady one better. I think maybe that was because it was I mean you had comedians that came in but it was like a lot of people who weren't and they prepped a little bit better. So like had the athletes come in like Peyton came in all these other people came in and they were able to like >> give good jokes. And >> I know roast are supposed to tilt more towards flagrant, right? And so I do think if you have clean roast jokes, like you're not even roasting, you're just doing stand up. Like it doesn't make sense.
>> Okay.
>> But some of the jokes, at least in the Kevin Hart one, were a little bit lazy.
Like the they just didn't even come out funny. They just they were just like hard-hitting just to like to get the shock value rather than like really like hit. It's like >> it's like you didn't even talk about Kevin. You were just talking about other stuff like lynching or >> Charlie Kirk or something like that.
like that was the more like substance than like what was happening to Kevin Hart. Like how many times you hear like a short joke >> or like you know he was in a bad movie or something like that. I think Chelsea what she's doing she's just >> I think she's just trying to ride the narrative, right? Like >> she knew she knows what's going on. She knows how this happens. She's seen one rose. She's seen them all. She knows what she's doing. I think she's just trying to like the stuff that Shane Gillis was like lazy. Like is he even doing like all that like MAGA crazy stuff that he was doing? Like I don't see him like even some of the stuff he was saying like him doing like racist stuff like I've never really I haven't I don't jump into all of his stuff but I've seen a lot of it and I don't see him doing that. So it's like him throwing him in there like Tony like I need I know he has the Trump stuff whatever but like I thought some of that was just like she was just trying to go with the mainstream perspective rather than like oh this is honest this is true. Now when you have an honest true one that hits hard those are the best truth in the roast >> and I think we were missing that in this roast a bit outside. sweaty.
>> Well, I mean, maybe Chelsea is just upset that her set was whack.
>> That's really at the end of the day, it was whack.
>> We can say Shane Gillis jokes were lazy.
But you could tell that there were some of them that was just kind of throwing it out there, see if it sticks.
>> He's going at the prompt like, "Oh, no, no, skip that one. No, no, go back."
Like, their job was to get a couple of jokes, see which one hits, and that's and that's and you go with it.
>> I don't actually think it was lazy. I think that he knows Kevin Hart for a long time. Um, you're supposed to have these jokes. I'm pretty sure if you do a uh roast of Shane Gillis, there's going to be a lot of white jokes, which there were white jokes. There were a lot of jokes. The best jokes were the ones on Cheryl Underwood for Christ's sake.
>> There was the best ones. And you know what? She was a great sport the way she should be. The way you think comedians are like, "Yo, you know what? Like, yo, go ham. Go do whatever you want. Say whatever you want. It's all in." They don't really feel that way. It's comedy.
This is why I say now that I'm a comedian cuz I want to get away with saying some of the [ __ ] that I say [laughter] because there's this [ __ ] umbrella.
There's umbrella of protection that they get cuz you can say whatever the hell you want. Like who cares? He joked about George Floyd. Like who cares? He wasn't a great dude. We know this. But he got he got he got >> this is comedy everybody.
>> No, but I'm not doing comedy. I'm not doing comedy.
>> We are doing comedy. All right. So say whatever you want.
>> He's not he's [laughter] >> But whatever. Fine. All right. Whatever happened, good, bad, and different. It's a joke. [ __ ] uh what's the other one?
What's the other? Oh my god.
>> Uh Charlie Kirk.
>> Charlie Kirk. Yeah. Honestly, that one didn't land as funny.
>> Yeah, it wasn't that funny.
>> It wasn't as funny, but I get where he was going. I think it's the execution.
If his exec It's not even like the delivery, it's just your execution of the joke. It landed flat.
>> But we get it. If he really juiced it up a little bit, it would have been funny.
Uh, so we got a whole bunch of cere Well, he's got one person really uh talking [ __ ] about it. I think everybody everybody enjoyed it uh for the most part. I will say this, Kevin Hart's bit sucked.
>> I'm sorry. That the last the last bit sucked. The Rock was better than Kevin Hart. I'm sorry. Like his his stuff landed better than the Rocks. Okay.
>> It was terrible.
>> I think overall I enjoyed the Rose. I thought it was good. Um, I do feel that this one felt different than the Tom Brady one. And I think the reason why it felt different because there was actual animosity on stage. There are some people on there and I know from behind the scenes that don't like each other.
>> Yeah. Like Shane Gillis [laughter] and and they put them right next to each other. That's the best part.
>> So, it's like that came out. I think with the Tom Brady one, you had former football players and former sports players and it was all love. So, even though they're roasting each other, it's still like, all right, there's love there. This was like, "Hey, I'm really just trying to damage your career."
Like, and no offense to Shane, but just saying, "Hey, Chelsea, you had dinner with Epste and there's no joke behind it." It's like, you're just trying to damage her career. Like, there's nothing there.
>> But I did laugh at it at the shock value that he went up and said that, >> but you got to there's probably a history there. She's probably like, "Oh, Epstein, this is wrong and blah blah blah or she's quiet about it. There's got to be some type of context behind it, which is great. That's not the time and place.
>> Why not? It's a roast.
>> Yes. So, where's the joke? Where's the roast?
>> That is the joke. Because I'm pretty sure a lot of people are like, "Oh, Chelsea, I thought you were, you know, you would be against having dinner with someone like that." I wouldn't never think Chelsea would be involved with anybody like that, but Oh, yeah. Chelsea had dinner. You don't know that, but you know, you might want to check her out.
>> What is the punch line?
>> There's no punch line needed. So, that's not a joke. That's just like >> What did he say?
>> I [laughter] laughed.
>> I laughed.
>> I laughed. So, he did his job. No, you're not. You're not. Come on.
>> Okay. The um the Cheryl Underwood stuff, like to me, like you said, Cheryl took it very well. The fact that Shane asked her beforehand if he can joke about that, she says yes. So, there's nothing wrong with that. I still feel Whoa, that [ __ ] was crazy. But that's just a me personal thing. And I can recognize that. Hey, just because something I don't joke about, like I don't like to joke about the death >> doesn't mean >> doesn't mean it's wrong for other people to do it. So, I feel like people are trying to put their own morals and their own like standards to what a roast should be. And it's like, nah, all rules are off the table. As long as the [ __ ] is funny, it's funny. That's what a roast needs to be.
>> It just needs the execution. But I I for the most part, I think most of them executed. Even though the uh Charlie Kirk did uh joke didn't land that well.
The rest of his stuff did. They were good. Freaking was the guy. Oh my god.
In the in the freaking all red the Britney Spears outfit.
>> Oh, Britney Spear. I was It was supposed to be Eddie Murphy.
>> Yeah. Yeah, I know. I know. But but it was more Britney Spears.
>> Uh, do you remember his name? Who's the after Frost? No, he's the best. He's the But his set was killer. Killer. Really?
I thought >> No. No. Check that out. His shot was killer. Like all of them did a really good job. What's her name? Regina Hall.
>> Yeah.
>> She did a good job. I thought she was a bit subdued.
>> I don't know what was that about. Even Even when they cut her, she was like, uh, or >> I was expecting a little more from her cuz she looks fantastic. You know, >> one thing I'm surprised people didn't point out is like almost everyone avoided joking about her.
>> They did. They didn't say much about like, >> but I don't think there's much of a joke on her.
>> No, but still.
>> Oh, is she a loud black [ __ ] But, you know, clearly she's not.
>> But that's a good [laughter] joke. I know it is.
>> You're a comedian and that's why.
>> Do you think she said like she probably had a list of stuff like blocking like don't joke about this this this this?
>> I hope not because then that's corny to be on a roast. But I found it odd that nobody would make a joke about her. It's like, yo, once you're on that deis, everybody is fair game.
>> What about Tiffany Hadtish? She was there. She didn't even get a Was it Tiffany Hish on that day?
>> No, no, no. I didn't hear that.
>> The one in the back. She was in the back row behind Lizo.
>> She didn't go up.
>> Well, if she didn't go up, then you can't get jokes. Like maybe Kev just sat some of his friends up there. But it's >> If you go up, >> I thought she would have been one to do it cuz she supposedly is super duper funny. I would have say Tiffany Addis would have been better than Regina Hall, but Regina Hall actually killed that [ __ ] >> She did. And people aren't upset about that. Like you can people are upset about joking about Cheryl Underwood's dead husband, but Regina's giving a note as Kev's dead mother talking as if >> I think it's because Regina's stuff was funny. Like I don't think the other stuff was that funny. It was just shock value. It wasn't like it didn't make you laugh. You're like, "Ooh, that's tense."
And yeah, that could be mixed in, but like there's too much spice. It's like hot sauce on 20.
>> And I think it's just who you are because like some people found Cheryl Underwood jokes funny. Some people found >> You know who found the jokes funny?
>> Cheryl Underwood.
>> Yeah, >> she was. And she went on, she said, "Oh, this was great." And I knew it was coming. And she was a good sport about it. That those are the people you need.
[ __ ] Chelsea.
>> George Floyd stuff.
>> A baby.
>> I like um [ __ ] spilled milk.
My thing is that's different. That's a little bit different. He's nothing to do with this roast. You're one saying he's watching from hell. Why Why would you do that? Like he got he died by the hands of a cop. Like why would he be going to hell? It's like it's super insensitive to his family. Not saying maybe you found it funny, but I'm just saying that's something that they could have avoided or it could have been funnier.
It wasn't funny enough.
>> Funnier. It could have been funny enough. So what you're saying is you would like a redo of the George Floyd joke. Just make it funnier.
>> I would prefer they not see why they if they're going to make it funny.
>> Yeah. Let's not do limitations. All right.
>> If they're going to make the [ __ ] funny.
>> So next week we're going to have the roast of George Floyd.
>> Well, let's have the roast of Lenny.
That'll be fun.
>> We can have the roast.
>> No, we're not. All right.
>> Let's see what the callers think about this roast and see if they're sensitive saw boys or they thought this [ __ ] was sweet.
>> What's good? New face. What's your name?
Where you calling in from?
>> Richie Rich calling in from Queens.
Could you see me? Could you >> We can. We can. Richie Rich. I like that. All right. Get the money.
>> How'd you get that name?
>> Uh, I'm trying to do something with the name. My name's Richard. I don't like going by that. I do Richie Rich. I don't know. It's like I've never seen the movie, but I'm trying to do something.
[laughter] >> Maybe I start there. Wait a minute. Wait a minute. Hold on. What about Dick?
>> Whoa.
>> No. See, that's what people always say.
I don't [ __ ] with that. Wait. Yeah.
Yeah. No. Richie Rich.
>> Call me Dick. Dick.
>> No. No, [laughter] no, no, no, no, no.
But Dick is a is a nickname for Richard.
[laughter] Richard Rick Rich. Uh, >> hey, I don't get how we get there, but you know, >> I don't either. Richie Rich. Uh, what' you think of the roast?
>> I liked it. I liked it. I think that Yeah. I mean, I'm I think in comedy we should be able to like touch all subjects. I agree. I think, you know, the George Floyd one, I wish it was funnier, but if we're going to make all these Trump jokes and all all that kind of [ __ ] like I think that we should be able to touch all topics. I wish it was funnier, but um yeah. No, I mean I I enjoyed it. I thoroughly enjoyed it, so no complaints.
>> What do you think about Chelsea Hitler's backlash, >> bro? Uh I think it's a little unfair. I mean, who hasn't been to an Epstein dinner at this point? And [laughter] I No. Y >> Yeah. I want to talk about her wardrobe, though. Dude, I I love the dress. I thought the booms were going to slip out at any moment if she like jumped up, right? So, I was on the edge of my seat for that. I think she did a great job with the wardrobe. Nobody's talking about that. She looked amazing. Oh, so you like getting some se some season a seasoned woman.
>> I like the boot. Yeah. No, if you got it flaunt it. I think it was it was >> I never heard that, but all right.
>> She's been hollowed out, though. You I don't know. You got to worry about it.
>> That's hotter, though. It's almost hotter. It's like I Yeah, I I hear what you're saying. You're not >> How many besides abortions? How many rejuvenation surgeries you think she's had? So, do you think uh do you think shock value is a legitimate comedic tool or should we go for actual jokes when when it comes to a roast?
>> Yeah, I think it could be used in a set.
Honestly, I'm a fan of Hinchcliffe. I I think he got a lot of [ __ ] for his uh maybe Unwarranted, but that's what you got to got to do. I think you want to be remembered. You gotta say stuff that will have talking points. And I think this roast had a lot of talking points coming out of it. Hopefully like not super negative, but I mean this is the day that we're we're living in with all this negativity and [ __ ] But I would say yeah, joke sprinkled in with the shot value is like the perfect formula and recipe. I really liked Big Jay set.
I'm a Big Jay fan. People were saying the days didn't have big names, but I think it had good comedians that haven't done a roast that maybe this was their shot. And yeah, no, I mean I think it was I think to answer your question, a little bit of shock, a little bit of jokes is like the perfect formula. But I love these roasts, man. I hope they do another one pretty soon. They'll get your boy Schultzy on there, Al. And I'm a huge fan of fragrance, so >> n gang gang gang gang. Yeah. No, Schultz killed it last year. I was surprised he didn't do it again this year, but he wanted to get back home to the family. I respect it. But and he actually he might have dodged a bullet with this one because all all the negative talk that's coming away from this roast and they pretty much just painted all the white comics as racist MAGA guys. It's good that he might have avoided this one.
>> Yeah, absolutely. Absolutely. All right.
So, uh, before you go, I I appreciate you calling in, but before you go, would you rather eat through your backside or go number two out of your mouth?
>> I I got to go with the first one. I think this is an easy answer. I'm not going number two out of my mouth, so I'd eat out of my backside. I don't have a good rationale for why I would do that, but I'm not going number two out of my mouth. I like to eat like Yeah.
>> All right. So then if you're eating through your backside, that means every time you're at dinner, >> you got to drop your pants or you have to bring your food into the bathroom.
>> Oh [ __ ] I I guess I didn't think about that. [laughter] >> How you do sushi?
>> That's tough. That's tough. That's tough.
>> Yeah. [ __ ] I don't know. I don't know.
I'm stumped. I don't I don't rebuttal.
But no, I'm trying to do >> I appreciate if you're drinking out of >> Oh, yeah. Imagine if you got a drink, too. Oh, that's going to be [laughter] Yo, thank you, Richie. Rich, appreciate you for calling in, man. Queens all day.
Queens got the money.
>> What's going on, guys? What's going on?
Okay, >> the Rose watched it last night. It was pretty great, not going to lie.
>> I totally agree with Lenny, though.
Kevin Hart's like the shop thing, that was corny. I'm not going to lie to you.
And I'm a big Kevin Hart fan. Also, like I I'm gonna be a little bit of a hater real quick. I get like you want to show off like all the partners that you're partnering with and this that and the third, but I also kind of found that like a little corny too. Yeah. Like you you really need to name Chase Bank like >> what are we what are we do what are we doing? Like what's going on, bro? Like >> I agree with you. It's like you're not reading the room right now in these times. People are kind of down bad moneywise. This is not the time to flaunt.
>> This is not the time to shout out [ __ ] Walmart, [ __ ] Chase Bank.
Like I get shouting out Netflix because one it's a Netflix show and like the CEO was there. Uh also they cut to like the worst people. Like they cut to a couple people that like had the worst [ __ ] faces to like there was like one lady that would literally was just like >> Yeah.
>> had a miserable [ __ ] time, bro. Like what? And then um >> there >> the thing is is that like it's crazy that like they should have let instead of having Joanie there cuz I'm not the biggest Kill Tony fan either, but like why wasn't Tiffany Hattish like doing things like doing giving like a little roast and stuff like that. I think they like >> like there were I feel like there were way better options. I'm not going to lie to you. I think there was just way better options. And I I just feel like I don't know because I don't know Kevin like that. I don't know like his relationships to everybody on there and stuff like that. But I feel like Tiffany Hattish would have done a better set than Kill Tony in all honesty cuz like >> Oh, I don't know about that.
>> I think I think people are scared.
>> He's the Rose King.
>> I think people are scared.
>> Jeff Ross is the Jeff Ross is the roast king.
>> Yeah. Okay, hold on.
>> He look like the naked mole rat from Kim Possible, by the way. [laughter] >> That's funny.
>> Yeah, I think he is recovering from Kansas. That's probably why he's hairless, but or I don't know if he's going for that look, but it's a wild look. It's a wild look, bro.
>> Yeah. But okay. Um, [ __ ] I I dropped.
Do you guys have a question? I >> was saying Chris, do you think that >> do I actually now you mentioned I do think that um a lot of the people were holding back like they had like different levels like they had mild, medium, and spicy, right? Like and they were kind of throwing different things.
Do you think like I feel like with Tom Brady like locker room talk everyone's jab jibbing and jabbing with everyone but do you think with Kevin like people had like they're holding because a lot of times even you were saying was that like Shane was like oh go to the next one and people were like no I'll do another joke like it's definely seems like people were like holding back which I wonder if Tiffany was just like I'm not going to try to go for it like it's not even fun so maybe that's why she didn't do it but >> I'm also just wondering like why wouldn't they have people on up on the deis if they weren't going to roast like in the past like I know I've seen like the Tom Brady one and like the Charlie she one everybody who was on the deis was somebody who went up eventually and did jokes so I was expecting like Tiffany Hattish to go up there or all the other guys I don't know like I don't remember who else was on the deis to go up there and do it like when I saw it was like a like a three-hour thing I'm like oh and all these people are going to go on there they're going to do their little sets this is going to be fun a handful of them did it and then like I Again, I'm going back with Lenny, like The Rock had like one of the best sets.
Like it was [ __ ] hilarious their like chemistry and this that and the third to it. Um, it was it was an interesting roast. Like again, this is going to be compared to the Tom Brady roast because Tom Brady roast was [ __ ] hilarious obviously, but like >> it I wouldn't put it up there with like the best roast, like my final my final opinion with it and stuff like that. I think it was all right, but like I feel like they could have gotten the just jokes. Most of the jokes just really didn't land at the end of the day, you know, regardless how you feel about like the George Floyd incident, the tragedy, uh, the Charlie Kirk, you know, tragedy, cuz it is a tragedy cuz he lost his wife, however way you feel about him.
The jokes just didn't [ __ ] land like and that that's the biggest problem with the roast in all honesty.
>> Did you were you expecting more because it was Kevin Hart? It's a comedian, someone who's, you know, funny. Like this was going to be funny. Like, you know, he could curate the best like Tom Brady like expectations are low. like and he does. I I I think that's I guess the killer then like the expectation might be the killer because like going into the Kevin Hart ros like I know for me before like you know everybody started talking about all the like controversy around it. I would have thought like he would had like heavy hitters of like like kings of comedy on there and stuff like that and not to like diss like you know the Tom Bradies of the Rocks or stuff like that that people he has personal relationships with or whatever but like >> Eddie Eddie really didn't show up like Cat was great. Cat Williams was great.
That was a really fun like spot and stuff like that. But like and Cheryl [ __ ] killed that. I was dying on my couch, bro. She was getting at everybody. That was obviously she did way better than [ __ ] Kevin set. Like and Kevin's the one like like come on.
Like what are you talking about? But >> I I expected just like a little bit more because you're roasting the comedian just like Kevin said like the you know when he was doing his thing they never had a comedian go last. you kind of you set your expectation up here and you really didn't really deliver, Kev. Like, and I'm a no, you know, I'm a nobody fan or whatever, whatever. But like, it just really didn't land at all.
>> If they hadn't they had more like >> I don't know if they had more like not to not to diss anybody, but I'm going to they're going to say it. If they had more like comedian comedians on there, >> like people who really are like used to like giving it like I'm about to sound like a OD Glazer, but like if they did have Schultzy on there, that would have been [ __ ] dope. I honestly I honestly think Schulty would have been better than [ __ ] uh Shane Gillis. I'm going to be honest. I really didn't like Shane as like hosting it. And I love Shane's comedy. Like I really do. I just really he just felt more awkward and like he >> But that's like [ __ ] what am I doing like doing here type thing.
>> Yeah, that's that's kind of Shane's stick. It's like he's there and he's got the the mic holded and it looks kind of weird.
>> I think he did honestly I think he really did a good job. It wasn't like um over the top anything. it was himself and then you throw in the jokes and they're like, "All right, next one. Next one up."
>> I don't think he overplayed it. I don't think he was trying to be, you know, too controversial. But he was looking at the crowd like to your point, you know, or to point they're they're pointing a camera at certain people and it's like, you know, you know what? Look at the people, the animals up top. Those are the people that should be at the bottom enjoying the show. All these celebrities with your [ __ ] ideas. Get the [ __ ] out of here. Let real comedy fans in there. That was part of the problem. So it's like like people on Adus are just his famous friends, but they're too [ __ ] to be involved in the roast. So they're just sitting up there. And then you on the on the bottom floor, you have all the other celebrities who just want to be seen, but they're also keep I want to stay cool, keep my composure, and not like go wild like the people up top. So I think that was bad on Netflix's part.
They wanted to have like a spectacle of celebrities instead of let's just treat this like funny roast. Mhm.
>> And uh yeah, that was a L on Netflix and an L on >> Don't get me Don't get me wrong, too, cuz like I think I think I think Shane would have done better at somebody who just came up and did a set as opposed to doing a host cuz I think he had he has some pretty killer jokes on there and stuff like that. But I think >> I think maybe they could have gotten somebody a little bit a little bit better to do the hosting and stuff like that. And I also agree that like they definitely like having like you get you I get you have to have like the celebrities like closer to the stage and stuff like that, but like it's it's at the end of the day roasting is still a comedy, you know? like sprinkle some like normal [ __ ] people in there so we can get jokes and not have to like not hear anybody laugh cuz it just felt silent for like most [ __ ] like >> Yeah, they try with the live it's hard for them to do uh live um comedy stuff cuz even like the Chris Rock comedy special when he did that live like it didn't really hit cuz it just doesn't sound great in the room. But Chris, before you go >> dilemma question, >> I hate this question though. I hate this [ __ ] question.
>> Would you rather eat through your backside or go number two out of your mouth? Okay, I'm going to eat through my backside because throwing up is the worst thing you could ever experience.
And this is it's literally just a form of throwing up if you poop out of your mouth. Also, like you're going to have [ __ ] on your teeth constantly. Like [ __ ] that, dude. That's that's just [ __ ] gross. I'd ra I'd rather like like if I'm going to a dinner or something like that, I'd rather eat at home and like just fill myself up so I don't have to like eat out. That's one way to get rid of that. And also again, how am I gonna be out here like, you know, spitting game and I got [ __ ] in my teeth, you know? Like it's embarrassing to have your teeth.
>> Yeah, you gota walk around.
>> Walk around with a kid.
>> Yeah. [laughter] >> Saying n y'all put too much into that.
There's just no way. There's no way you can sell that to me. I'm not I'm not [ __ ] out of my mouth. There's just [laughter] no way. I [ __ ] actually [ __ ] out. There's no way.
>> But Chris, how you going to chew that?
>> That's That wasn't a part of the question.
>> Yeah, it wasn't. That I let that slide.
it all.
>> That was a part of the session.
>> A part of it. I'm sorry.
>> Yo, thank you so much, Chris. You know, you're that guy. Appreciate you, brother.
>> I'll see y'all later.
>> All right, man. Do we still have more for this one or next up? More for this one. Okay, let's bring them on.
>> Yo, as so I I personally I I enjoyed the roast um while I was watching it.
>> Hello to you, too, [ __ ] God damn.
Ready for a second.
>> Just ready to go.
>> Oh, I can't. I said what's up. I can't like >> I don't know who you are.
>> Yeah. What's your name? Where you calling in from?
>> I'm Justin from the Bronx. What's up, guys?
>> Yeah. Yeah. People from the Bronx, they don't know how to act. That's what it is.
>> So, I I personally I I liked it. I felt like it was going to be very positive in terms of uh like with cancel culture and things like that, like just bringing like things up to the light where it's like, oh, we could joke about these things. I felt like things were very like equal-sided. Um you know, they were getting Shane Gillis talk about he got down syndrome and you know, it was it was it was very equal. It was very equal. I I I think you hit it right on the head where um it's definitely about opinions cuz I personally I don't like like the slate jokes. I I don't like that. The hanging jokes I like that that I don't like. But um I personally like I got you know I got I'm Puerto Rican so I got my personal things with Kill Tony.
But um I I felt like I felt like he was pretty high, man. I felt like he did good. I didn't hear that he I didn't get the part where he said that he was in hell. I heard him say that he was um laughing so hard that he can't he's saying that he can't bring you for something like >> Yeah, but he said he said he's he's looking up at us looking up from I said that. I got that now. But I don't know.
I I I didn't really The bonsai tree thing. I ain't like that. The hanger from the bonsai tree that I ain't like.
>> No, that's hilarious. I giggle. I giggle.
[laughter] That's hilarious. Let me tell >> because he's small, you know, like that's hilarious.
>> But that's what comedy is. It's subjective. It's like, hey, you know, I thought that one was funny. Like, I ain't going to lie.
>> Especially black comedy. I'm sorry. All it is is how much we going to dump on white people, black people, everybody.
They get it. So why why is this off limits?
>> Everything is on limits. I'm sorry.
I think back I think back on you you you know that movie Guess Who? with um with um >> who was it?
>> Um the d the dude from Two and a Half Men, the white boy. Ashton Kutcher.
>> No, guess yeah. Guess who? Ashton Cut back. So he's saying he's at the dinner table with the family saying like like all these RA like he's like, "Oh, my friends say racist jokes." They go, "Oh, what racer jokes?" So he's he's saying the racist jokes in front of the family and they liking all the jokes. And I think the joke that got him was, "Oh, what's two things you can't give to a black man? A job and a a swollen lip."
and that they was they was tight. But it's like it's like these jokes like it'll work in in certain settings. It's like saying that dinner table with your black in-laws like [laughter] >> Yeah. N you know, it's just the times, man. I I really I think overall it was a good roast. Yes, there were a couple of jokes that, you know, just weren't that funny. So, they tried to push the boundary and that's why there's they're getting backlash from it. Next time they just got to come better. Come funnier.
Paul.
>> Yeah. I thought it was good. I enjoyed it. Yeah. All right. Before you go, the dilemma question. Would you rather eat through your backside or go number two out of your mouth?
>> All right. So, everybody make good points, but I just don't have like the the the the ability to just like let my back be so relaxed, you know? I would love to get my [laughter] like it sounds good to, you know, have a shorty eat your glutes, but I just can't I just can't do nothing back there, bro.
So, I'm going have to go with the [ __ ] out the Yeah.
>> Okay. All right. I like the rationale. I I like to ratch it out.
>> Yo, it was great talking to you, man.
>> Yo, thank you for calling in, brother.
Appreciate you.
>> All right, who we got next? Who do we got next?
>> Yeah, what's good? What's going on, everybody?
>> Yo, what's your name? Where you calling in from?
>> Aka, what's up? Ba Cat from Queens, but from Clap Bush, Brooklyn.
>> Gang gang. All right. The bodega cat. I like that. All right. So, what what you think about the roast?
>> It was funny, man, cuz it was like it was like they killed Tony more. You know what I mean? Like it was hilarious that they went off one of the doom.
>> You weren't bothered by any of the jokes.
>> That [ __ ] was wild though. I'm not going to lie. It [ __ ] with me a little bit because I mean but like you know comedy is comedy. You know what I mean? Like I'm a comedian so like you got to throw it up into the air but you know what I mean? It wasn't funny.
>> A lot of the [ __ ] wasn't funny. So >> And what do you what do you think?
>> Like more to me it was like it wasn't funny. You know what I mean? Like so like like the dude from Satin Island to me, he was funnier than mostly everybody and I was like that dude isn't even funny to me.
>> You know what I mean? [laughter] >> Yeah, >> that's funny. Yeah, I mean he did say the Charlie Kirk joke that a lot of people had uh issues with >> was funnier, >> but yeah, everything else he had issues with. I mean, everything else was pretty funny. Um, the thing I found the funniest is, and I don't feel a lot of people really targeted Pete for that, is that he went and performed at the uh, Riad Comedy Festival and Saudi Arabia is like they say they they were behind 911.
So, it's like his dad died on 911 >> and it's like he went and performed for the guys who killed his dad. They made a joke about >> they made one, but I was >> No, there was a lot.
>> It was a lot. Oh, I only >> I think he even made a joke himself.
>> Yeah. Yeah. But I just I thought that was going to be >> at the end of the day everything is like everything is money from different places. So you can't really like >> truthfully like >> right >> yeah there's nothing I can't even talk on that like but really like that like that's a whole different thing like you know I mean [laughter] >> I all money all money leads to certain places no matter what. So it's like >> okay but we talking about the roast. No, no. Yeah, it's all good. But yeah, though, I appreciate you calling, but before you go, I gotta ask you this dilemma question. Would you rather eat through your backside or go number two out of your mouth?
>> Uh yo, uh [laughter] >> the backside. Like, eat through the backside.
>> Why?
>> Look at that beard.
>> Yo, cuz I don't want to walk around with shitty ass breath, yo. Like, that's insane. [laughter] You know what I mean? That's crazy. Yo, go Nick, my go.
>> Yo, blessings. Yeah, cancel comedies, dope [ __ ] Blessings, yo.
>> Yes. Appreciate you for calling, man.
Appreciate you.
>> All right, who we got next? Who we got next?
>> You're Oh, man. This guy, >> it's your old nightmare. Hey, Push Dave, what's up? Wait, you allow one brown guy in there? I was in New York a month ago.
Hey, you >> told it's some racist things happen in corners. [laughter] Yo, you got Pride back in Toronto now that your guy dropped.
>> I know. Why isn't he on the last one?
>> Pride back in Toronto. What? Cuz an artist dropped some music.
>> Oh, Pride.
>> You guys were down bad, bro. Down bad.
>> Were they?
>> Yes.
>> I'm I'm just fine.
>> They lost in hockey to America. That's bad.
>> Who cares? Who cares, man? If I cut my toe off today for free, they'll sew back on you. You're You're done. You're done for. No more dumb studios. You have to sell all the cameras. You got to sell that back on.
>> All right, Hos, what's up? What you What you think of the What do you think of the roast?
>> Everyone's all up in arms. It was honestly hilarious. Yeah.
>> Okay. I might be a little bit more extreme on the flagrant side, but when it comes down to it, the if if Shane talked to Cheryl about the joke before, she was cool with it, it flies. If everyone's cool with whatever was said, then it is what it is. You're not going to get 100% bangers out of anything that happened. Tony Hinchcliffe, the last roast, came out of the crowd and and was one of the best ones to come out of it for Tom Brady. And this one, if he's not as good, whatever.
>> What about George Floyd's family? They didn't get their permission.
>> Oh my god.
>> I'm just saying it based on based on his logic.
>> I mean, >> no, but he's a fellow comic on stage.
That's different.
>> I'm talking about on the panel. I mean, it's like Yeah. It's like your husband, you're sitting right there. If you say something that's been in the news, in the media and the public, is it offkilter? Would I have said that?
Probably not. I'm I'm a funnier guy.
But, uh, when it comes down to it, it's just it is what it is.
>> Wait, so why wouldn't you have said it?
>> Huh? Why wouldn't I have said it? Yeah.
>> I don't know. It just doesn't it doesn't go with the the the flow of jokes at that point. Like everything was hilarious or shock value was there at some points, but that was out of it, I think.
>> So, it sounds like you're saying it was wrong.
No, I I think it sounds like you tried to put words into my mouth.
>> I mean, I'm just trying to infer what you're trying to say. You're saying that you wouldn't have personally said it.
>> Just cuz I wouldn't have said it doesn't mean I I don't care if someone else says it.
>> But did you think it was funny?
>> Was it?
>> No, the ending part wasn't wasn't funny to me. What was funny to me? The Shane part talking about that. Anybody who goes to Riad or got money there, who cares? Like I want to see the amount of money they sent. First of all, did did Saudi did Saudi do 911? Let's let's ask that question. Maybe it was a little bit of smaller hats. Okay, I have my own.
[laughter] Hey, it says is real. Oh, is it real? Was it even real? ISRAEL.
[laughter] >> I don't care. Post it.
>> The dilemma question. The dilemma [laughter] question. Would you rather eat through your backside or go number two out of your mouth?
>> Eat through my backside? What are we [ __ ] talking about? I eat a cheeseburger through my [ __ ] if I care eat my mouth every day through my mouth. What? What? What is that question?
>> How would you eat out in public?
[laughter] >> I eat how I do now. Ask naked. Just open my ass. Just dip down on a burger.
What's up?
>> So, at a restaurant, you're getting butt naked.
>> You don't got to get butt naked. You got >> I'll do right now. I almost did it with with Bobby Lee the other night when he came to Toronto. I'll do it. You You don't scare me. Listen, I got four inches and $4. You can only pick.
>> All right. H. Thank you so much for calling. Uh, appreciate you, brother.
>> Hey, Joe. I'm going to fight you, buddy.
I'm going to find you. Come >> to New York.
>> Oh, you guys are stupid. Did the president just use a lawsuit to legally rob the American taxpayers? Let's break down the facts. First, Kentucky Representative Thomas Massie just lost his Republican primary to a Trumpbacked challenger. Massie fought the Trump agenda from the inside. He fought foreign wars and he demanded the Epstein files. So, they buried him. It was the most expensive House primary in US history, $32 million. Pro-Israeli lobbying groups like Apac dropped 9 million of that specifically to destroy Massie for voting against their funding.
Trump has a low approval rating right now. But does Massie losing prove that Trump still completely controls the party or just that $32 million can buy any election no matter who's running?
And second, the Trump DOJ just signed off on a massive $ 1.776 billion payout.
Here's how it happened. Trump originally sued the government because his tax returns were leaked to the press. But instead of fighting it in court, his own DOJ just settled the lawsuit with him.
They created a $ 1.7 billion anti-weaponization fund that can be used to pay the legal bills of his allies and January 6 riers. And tucked inside this deal is a total and permanent tax immunity for his entire Trump family and their private businesses. Now, the people defending this are saying Massie had to go because he crossed the boss.
They say that it's just politics and they argue that the $1.7 billion is not a slush fund. It is payback for the deep state targeting conservatives for years.
But critics are calling this unchecked corruption. They say a foreign lobbying group just openly bought a house seed to protect their war money. Meanwhile, the president just used a lawsuit against his own government to take our tax dollars and buy his family a legal free pass. Here's my take. Stop telling me this is just how politics works. Putting a robbery on paper does not make it legal. It just makes it an inside job.
If you are defending this just because your guy is in office, you are the mark.
We are watching a foreign lobby buy a US congressional seat in broad daylight.
And the president is treating the national treasury like his piggy bank to hide his taxes and bail out his friends.
This is not government anymore. This is a cartel with a PR team. Taage Lenny.
When foreign money buys a house seat and the president uses tax dollars to clear his own bank accounts, is this democracy?
>> Well, if that was actually the case, I'd say yeah, you'd be right. But what's the case then? Well, because I'm not fully prepared to go through all the details of it, but one I can tell you >> there's too much corruption to go through.
>> One, no. One, I can tell you that the Trump family cannot claim any of the money that has been settled to the side.
That's one. So, your point that they're having US tax dollars pay the Trumps and their families, the businesses was false. You're ridiculous.
>> No, >> no, >> no.
1.776 or 1.8, we'll just round it up, is anybody can file a claim. If Hunter Biden wants to file a claim, so technically it's bipartisan. Anybody who says they've been wrongfully accused or whatever with the uh January 6 thing or some other claim of of uh unworth practice by the FBI, they could file a claim for it. It's not a right or left thing. So you're wrong in your assessment in that point. Uh the the uh >> so the Trump I didn't say that >> and you're you're saying that they said instead of going through the courts they went through the courts this is settled out of court now the so the problem >> came up with the settlement.
>> Okay. So what you're looking at now is oh well >> own person heard it.
>> Yes. And who's at the top of the DOJ now? Right. Okay fine. Because of that because they're so adjacent to each other. You're you're going to automatically say there is a um uh I guess insider issues some from some >> you're saying there's no bias.
>> What I'm saying is what I'm saying is >> this is >> so but how does it benefit the trunks?
In what way did it benefit in in in terms of the money? Now remember this goes you want me to answer this question.
>> This goes hold on. This is for 2 years.
It does not cover after what happens. So if you find something wrongdoing done by any of the people in the Trump family, you can go ahead and prosecute that. If we're talking about what happened before, why? Because somebody in the IRS kept leaking their information. This is not, oh, uh, they're they're making an excuse or or the like it's crying wolf leak. They found out that no, this has been going on.
>> No, it was one leak.
>> It's been going on. They've been using lawfare for a while now. So, again, we spoke about the whole New York thing on a New York state level. Why they're prosecuting him? Whatever. You got no victim. You got nothing going on. No one. So, they win the trial there, but they can't show you what crime is. Oh, you do the books. How'd you do the books? Everybody who he took a loan out got paid. Now you're going to talk about, oh well, he he misvalued his real estate. The stupid judge in that goddamn case said that Mara Lago cost $18 million and it's well worth over a billion. So who's playing games here?
You're going to have and Leticia James, she did whatever she she her she campaigned to get the job as New York's attorney general. I'm going to get Trump. So fine, there's some lawfare going on. This is going back saying, listen, whatever they did back then, >> we're going to slip wipe that slate clean. They can't claim any money, but if the future if there's wrongdoing, you can prosecute. It doesn't mean you stop the audits.
>> So, so, so, so if you're under investigation for crimes that you may or may not have committed, what in what world do you feel it's okay to just be like, "We're just going to wipe the slate clean. Forget about all that. And we're going to settle with yourself by setting money aside." Wait, wait, wait.
and give you immunity for any and all stuff, present, past, and future.
>> No. See, that's where you're wrong. It wipes the past. It wipes the past. Why does it wipe the past? And if you anybody No, it does not. No, it does not. It does not. It does. When he's out of office or if anybody does any First of all, when he's out of office, I guarantee you whoever's up next, if it's a Democrat, they're going to go, "Oh, you know what? We're going to reverse this and we're going to go back to it."
It is.
>> And why would they reverse them?
>> Yeah. Why would they react?
>> Because of that everything is get Trump.
So now you're WORRIED ABOUT FOD.
>> NO, I DIDN'T. [laughter] >> What are you talking about?
>> You just said I said the Democrats would go in office and reverse it because it is a get Trump nature. It's always been that way. I don't understand how this is not immunity. If it's not immunity for a sec, why would they need to reverse anything?
>> No, because they're Listen, they want this stuff from what happened. The ruling just happened this week and the past. So, if I can now open up what happened in the past based on, first of all, this is based on unclean hands.
We're talking about the IRS, right? Are they not a a federal government entity?
>> Yes.
>> So, like Judge Judy says all the time, if you're going to come to court, you got to come to court with clean hands.
Did they or did they not leak his stuff?
Did they or did they not audit him often? There's some they can make the case for unfair practices. So, what they're trying to tell you is so why not go to trial? They listen, why settle it yourself? But I would love to settle.
>> So if they go to trial now, if they go to trial now, you're still going to say, "Well, it's Trump's DOJ." So why would you go to trial, so settle it out, the Trumps don't get any money from it. They don't get any advantage from it. But if you [ __ ] up in the future and the IRS still has the right to audit you. The IRS still can look into what you're you're doing. They look into the business trans for future that I don't know where you get this iron plat immunity [ __ ] for anything that ever happens in the future. You're wrong. Uh, >> but in the to >> future, we're talking about past cases that are that have been put forward.
Those have been wiped out because again, the IRS is not coming with clean hands.
They have evidence. They're leaking the Trump or or affiliates their information. So, you're leaking that information. You can't then action upon that and then go, "Oh, well, listen.
They [ __ ] up. We leaked it to the media." You can't do that [ __ ] So, we get to take you to court and sue you. So that means so if I committed mad crimes but if someone leaked one of my crimes that I did so I should get off scotch free >> bro how many times >> No answer that answer that and shut the [ __ ] up. Let me ask you how many times have you seen in a case where we're throwing out evidence because it wasn't properly collected or it was leaked by or it wasn't done the search and seizures didn't happen by the book.
>> Okay.
See if he would have just shut the [ __ ] up in the first [laughter] place.
>> [ __ ] [ __ ] That was a good point.
>> But at the same time, again, look at Luigi and Manion. They threw out a couple of things this past week. You can't do this. You could because they illegally did the search and seedure in an inappropriate way and the judge threw a couple of things out. It's the same thing here. The IRS was was unore in terms of the how they were auditing and leaking the information to the press.
You can't do that. And so, as a settlement, and maybe you don't add the whole, you know, you can file a claim for the Jan Six people because, yeah, there's been plenty of people that had their hand in what they did that day.
There was also a lot of insider play that happened in that day because you know what the FBI still to this day will say.
>> Yeah, we had FBI assets in there, but you know, we're not going to talk about it. Okay. Why? Why not? Why? So, you're not being careful. I agree with that.
>> So, got it.
>> It doesn't benefit the Trumps.
>> And at the end of the day, all we're saying is >> in the future, you're going to be prosecuted, but for the past doing, the wrongdoings, we're throwing all that out.
>> So, again, why was this made? Why is this done with taxpayer dollars? And then who does it benefit?
>> Well, in terms of the Gen 6 people, though, I shouldn't even say Gen 6 people because it it it benefits anybody and everyone who can make a claim against the IRS saying that they were not um they were not acting ethically u when trying to either, you know, audit them or if they feel that the FBI has been abusing power cuz FBI, you know, there's some scary [ __ ] right?
All of a sudden, like now the FBI's on you. If you find malpractice with them, then you get to sue and file a claim.
>> You could do that anyways.
>> Yeah, but now they set up a fund for it.
So now they're like, "Okay, again, taxpayer money. Why do I like why am I putting money?"
>> So if you sue the FBI and you win, >> it's taxpayer money if you win.
>> Okay.
>> So what are we I don't understand. What are we talking about? The fact that is he took a trial that he was under investigation for something else, something completely different cuz it was multiple things. It wasn't just the leaking of the tax returns. It was also the um the uh documents that were at Mara Lago that he wasn't supposed to have. He was also under investigation for that. So they took several things that he was under investigation for just get all that and then did something completely different that's not even related to that and just said hey you know what we're going to set this fund here and this money has to be used by the time I'm out of the presidency. You don't think that's going to be the easiest way and let's let's please take into consideration how he's been moving and how he's been enriching himself and the people around him. You don't think that is so easy to access his money? Hey guys, say you got wronged by the government. I got you. You don't think >> the way that he moves that's just going to be a slush run for his allies?
>> You're So you're saying everybody and everybody anybody >> and let me add one more point. And why the [ __ ] should any of this money go to the January 6 riders? You don't think that you wait. You don't think that emboldens people like, "Oh [ __ ] we ran up on a [ __ ] um where was it? The capital >> rided this bitch." Not only did we get pardon and we made money, the next time in a [ __ ] in 2028, if he chooses to run again or not give up power >> November. November.
>> Let me ask you something. I've seen dudes >> I've seen dudes >> with armed robbery get out in two years and good time, right? Arm robbery >> and a settlement from the government.
>> Now, first of all, it's not a settlement. You can file a claim.
>> Again, get money from the government.
>> You can file a claim. needs to go through a review process while that extra [ __ ] and it's being done likely by the DOJ and it doesn't necessarily mean that it's going to happen right now during this administration.
>> Do you think any of the January six riers should be uh compensated? Some of them this is why >> because there are some people >> right remember they arrested they arrested a lot of people. They also during the riots they invited people in.
I'm not saying the ones that No, listen.
I'm not saying the ones that broke in and were breaking glass, all that extra [ __ ] are the killing people. Yes. People died.
>> Who died? Who died? The one officer.
>> Yes.
>> Oh, yeah. When did he die?
>> The guy who died.
>> When did he die?
>> Um, I think the next day or something like that from >> from what?
>> Like heart situations based off of the tragedy he dealt with.
>> All right. So, here's a here's a here's a here's a roast joke. Or should we do it, >> honey?
>> Get this [ __ ] out of here.
>> Listen, I'm not I'm not I'm not even going to say it. I'm not even going to say it. I'm just saying get them out of here. That's what happened. Get them out of here. All I'm saying to you, you [laughter] >> all I'm saying like there's there are people that walked in the building were invited in. They still tore that [ __ ] life. Again, there are people with arm robber. I'm not going to let you say that. There was nobody invited in. There was not a single officer there saying, "Guys, you're a lion." No, there was a lion. What officer officer We're going to We're going to watch the tapes. I'll send you the tapes.
>> Honey, did you like what in the world are you seeing? Listen, because you you're conflating two things. Like I'm not making an excuse for bad behavior.
You know, that's my thing. I'm not making excuse. You got hit. You found or you were found guilty on doing certain things. But there are people who [ __ ] beat the [ __ ] out of their pets and get out in two days. Then these people who say, "Oh, yeah, you were riding. What was your charge? Oh, they were just walking in the building. Okay, 3 years.
Get the [ __ ] out of here.
>> Get the [ __ ] does not match the government building that they broke into."
>> Oh, okay. So I could beat my [ __ ] up and get out of get out of jail in in a couple of days.
>> Do you see how I could just walk through the capital and I'm a bigger criminal?
>> You see how you're moving the goal post?
>> I'm not moving the goal post. What I'm saying is all lives matter. One thing we're talking about one thing about J6 people.
>> Well, the crime wasn't that bad.
>> We're talking about Jan 6 people. There are some people who committed higher crimes than others. There are other people that got roped in. They were walking in. They still got arrested.
They still got charged. They were in jail for a hella long time. The dude with the damn horns, he wasn't even one of those the ones that broke in. He just happened to walk in. He was walking around with the cops. He stood and took pictures within the the chambers. All of a sudden, he's in jail for 4 years. You think that fits the crime? What's the crime?
>> So, somebody breaks into your house, destroys a lot of your [ __ ] And guess what? They're out in a month.
>> They're out for a month. Guaranteed.
>> What do you think their punishment should be?
>> Oh, that's mine. If somebody BREAKS INTO NO, NO, NO. Bring them back. Bring them back. No.
>> What punishment should they have if they broke into your house, destroyed your property? How how long should they go to jail for?
>> You know what I'm going to say? Throwing money at the seller. I got another government.
>> All of a sudden, all of a sudden, this liberal ass [ __ ] wants to be like, "Oh, I I I care about my government assets and I care about this." You couldn't give a [ __ ] about national parks, national anything, monuments, nothing. You would rather tear them down like it's BLN. Take all take Andrew Jackson down. Take George Washington all the names from schools and things like that. That's what you want to do.
>> I care about Law and Order.
>> You're so full of [ __ ] because when it was BLM writing, you didn't give a [ __ ] about how they tore that [ __ ] up. They tore New York up from head to toe and you didn't give a [ __ ] >> I was on record because I was at a lot of these protest so they should round you up and throw you in jail, too.
>> More peaceful protesting and I was against it wasn't >> here. What's good, brother?
>> Now, he's gonna have a good opinion on this. He's gonna he's going to tell us what it is. Come on. How y'all doing, man?
>> What's good? We're doing good. Where do you land on this?
>> I I I honestly think I mean there's two parts of it. There's a two-part question. One with Thomas Matthew. Yep.
>> I think that's super concerning because you had one Republican who held him in check. Everybody else was too scared to say anything and they got him out of there. And now they're like having conversations about like, oh, Matthew should run for president. It's like he should, but if he couldn't win in his own state and it took $30 million to get him out of there, 14 year, you know, person that's been in there for a long time, it's like he has no chance. And it's kind of scary that Republican party, well, Trump still has a choke hold on the Republican party after everything this past two years. So, that's very concerning. But, uh, in terms of the the settlement, if you're if somebody in the IRS, for example, um, if you're in the medical field and you leak somebody's, uh, uh, information, private information, you can get sued.
You can get lose your license.
Individually, there's repercussions. So, do an investigation. Find out who in the IRS made that decision. Who leaked your information? And give them repercussions, right?
>> That person is in jail right now for 5 years. Don't make me pay for uh you know, don't make me pay for or like for the entire just don't put it under a big IRS umbrella and make the taxpayers pay for.
>> But bro, you know that's not how it works. You know that's not how it works because if I work let's say for some bumble [ __ ] company. Let's say I work for Chase Chase Bank or JP Morgan like my man that was suing his his boss. If I work for them and I feel like I'm wrong, just because you work for that company, you're ahead of me, whatever the case may be, I get to sue the entity, not the individual. I sue the entity. So, as the IRS, anyone in the government, which you're a part of the government now, you sign off. If you do something wrong, the IRS, the federal government is now responsible to make you whole. Period.
>> Good point.
>> Yeah. Yes. But I think if you like zoom out and just look at Trump's uh track record and I'm not obviously you can't point fingers and be like, "Oh, you know, you doing this, you're doing that." But at some point 1 plus 1 equals two. Like if you zoom out and look at what he does, everything leads to him and his friends just getting richer and richer and richer. This is just on paper proven. Like with the tariffs, >> we paid the tariffs, but the money that came in from the tariff settlement got paid out to all the companies. So the companies are still charging because we're used to paying the higher fee.
They got funny back from the tariffs.
Trump's people got paid. People got screwed in the process again. So it's like it's like it might be the right message. It's the wrong messenger. So you kind of have to look into it because I mean what how much his network increased since he became a president. I mean it's unprecedented numbers. So it's like yes legally he could do it but that's the problem because legally he's been affecting voting rights legally he's been affecting redistricting everything he's been doing is technically amongst the lines but as somebody who I mean I'm Turkish and I was born and raised in Russia like I've seen what corruption looks like >> everything gets done legally corruption starts being done within legal parameters until people get used to it and numb to it and then it takes off to a whole another uh place from there. And that's what's concerning.
>> And the same thing goes, right? Like so that $1 whatever billion dollars like everyone has access to it, but the common person isn't going to get audited by the IRS. And even if they do, how much money are they really going to get out of like is are they fighting over, you know, 5K, 10K? Like the money is really for the people who are making a lot of money, which ends up like when you start tilting to the top. 00% or whatever. That's Trump and his people.
>> I mean, that's the thing.
>> Would you say Jeff Bezos and Elon Musk are purely Trump people?
>> Not necessary. Like, we're talking about top people. Not everybody who makes a lot of money, unfortunately, is is a rightle leaning person. I'm sorry.
That's just not what it is. Basos was just interviewed the other day and he said, "Yo, this uh Trump during this um term, he's more mature. He's better.
He's like performing better better than ever."
>> Like he's saying he's doing a better job this time around.
>> Okay, but hold on. See, but like how wild is that? So all of a sudden, if the man has a change opinion or if his opinion says he thinks he's doing a good job, that means he's a shoe in for him, like that means he wants he's a friend.
Before this, he wasn't a friend to Trump. Again, you you just asked, "Oh, get Elon and Bezos Trump people." Yes, they are.
>> But it doesn't mean those are the people that are going to get targeted for or or will benefit from the IRS slush fund here. It doesn't mean that it >> you guys come at it from a negative lens all the time. You just think that everything's corrupt and it's because it's him, therefore it is. You know, it's just automatic. But he's like, "Okay, who he got? His net worth is adjusted. Okay, how much is it adjusted?"
Like we keep saying these things like his network's adjusted, he's making more money, blah, blah, blah.
>> No, no, but I get what you're saying, right? Is I'm saying that totality this could benefit everyone, right? But the people who are really going to benefit where like the a lot of money is going to be dealt with, a lot of money is going to be audited, millions of dollars, billions is and the people who will take the most advantage is Trump.
This is what we're we're talking about.
He he already made so much money suing TV stations and everything and we're like, "Oh, okay. Well, it's personal."
When there is a conversation that involves January 6 people in this, that's when it gets concerning. It's like, "Oh, wow. You're not you're not even afraid to you're just open about it." Like, you're just telling us where you stand at with that because that was treason like in terms of getting that you getting a payment, getting a reward or trying to write your actions. You're you're telling me this type of action is okay and it's not okay. Like they tried to they they were, you know, chanting hang AOC. Like people forgetting about that. They were looking for Nancy Pelosi. Like they were roaming the hallways looking for these people. It wasn't like they just wanted to go take pictures. There's videos of them.
>> Yeah. And I would suggest that you go back and look at those videos, too, because if this was a riot, it was the most orderly riot I've ever seen in my goddamn life.
>> Go ahead. No, no, no. Go ahead. Go ahead. So what? Go ahead and see what happened once they entered the capital.
I'm not talking about outside because again the people up front just like my man.
>> So you broke you broke into a government building but because you are nice inside of it. It's okay.
>> No, I'm not saying I'm not saying listen.
>> So if somebody breaks into your house and they don't break anything, there's different crime, >> you'll let it go. You'll look the other way.
>> There's different crime whenever you go to court >> and compensate them for any >> but no one's saying [laughter] to compensate them. And if you were listening earlier, if you were listening earlier, I said I don't really understand why I add the Gen 6 to this cuz you don't need to.
>> Oh, so something you're against.
>> No, it doesn't make sense to add it because it's just it's an add-on. It's pork in a bill.
>> This guy. Yo, man.
>> You don't know what this means.
>> Appreciate you for calling. Before you go, we got to give you the dilemma question of the week. Would you rather eat through your backside or go number two out of your mouth?
I I already have a I have I have [ __ ] up teeth already, man. I don't need another problem. Watch, man. Listen. Eat through my back, man. That's it. I'm not even going to >> That's funny. That's interesting.
Everybody's going that one. I feel like that would be way more difficult to navigate in the world. Eat it through your backside.
>> I think so. But yeah. Yo, appreciate you for calling, brother. It's always a pleasure here.
>> Enjoy. Enjoy the conference run. Thunder and >> F.
next year, baby. Appreciate that.
>> I like that. You got Now you got to come back for that one.
>> Who do we got next? Who do we got next?
You're >> okay. Arson, please can you talk can you talk some sit right now, please?
>> I know. Every time I come on, that's the first thing you say.
>> Jess, I get so frustrated so I can't get my words out. [laughter] >> Uh, well, first of all, I'd like to address the point you kept saying massie lost to a foreign government. Like, what what are you talking about? What? What foreign lobby? What foreign government?
[laughter] >> Um Apac groups.
>> That's a that's not a foreign They're not registered as a foreign lobby.
>> That is very true. That's very true. But we all know >> the donors. They're dual citizens.
They're American citizens.
>> Wow. Thank you, >> Arid. Yeah. Where's the foreign problems? What's the problem?
>> Ar make a point. Make your point.
>> He made his point. [laughter] He made his point. Yeah. Yeah. My good point is that uh >> Apac has America's uh agenda in like is that their goal?
>> Probably not. Oh, okay. There we go. So, >> well, it depends what you think America should look like and what they who they should support.
>> And doesn't everybody have a different opinion on what it should look like?
>> Yeah, because >> that's why we have the democracy, right?
People can go and they can donate whoever they support.
>> Foreign wars.
>> Foreign.
>> Yeah. You love you stand up for that. So you like that we kick out of power people who are fighting against sending money to Israel. You like that stuff?
>> No, no, no. I actually like Messi a lot.
But you know >> Oh, >> see. But see, but here we go. [ __ ] who wants to put you in the [ __ ] up cuz I don't have to speak up. No, I don't have to speak up because this is the game.
>> So, but you don't realize but because you're going off of just the Iran and Gaza thing and he's like, "Oh, we shouldn't be fighting anybody else in this world." There are plenty of people who think the same way. Plenty of people. Uh but Massie uh even though he did vote 91% with Republican uh legislation, I understand why they're trying to get rid of him because he goes against the grain. It's the same thing with Rand Paul. Ran Paul is just a little more popular, but he's on he's on the docket.
>> He goes against the grain.
>> He goes against the grain. And you know what? He got two years left of Trump being in power. They're trying to get rid of him with the Jerry Mandarin. Go ahead. But my my my my general point is that uh and I I've said this, you know, when I was in the studio with you guys is uh the Citizens United Supreme Court decision in 2010 is when we lost voting power in this country.
>> And so I don't think there's a lot of high f like it's crazy because everybody is there's this perception in all the polling is like oh the midterms election is going to be that the Democrats are going to take the House and Congress and it's like now you see this special election with with Massie or whatever.
It's like are they >> are they going to >> y >> you know so it's um we're you know I think the founding fathers would be like taking up arms at this point if they saw what was going on in the country with all the foreign influence. It's like it's both parties you know this is just the the party in power right now that's that's doing that.
>> So and and what I like about it is what I said before it's what I like is it's in everybody's space. Let's just go for it. Let's go $1.776 billion dollars like you know the year of the funding of the nation. They're just trolling us because they're I think actively destroying the nation. I think it's a huge money grabbed Yeah. Lenny, how do you feel about $175 million made in quarter one by by Trump with stock trades?
>> I Oh, the stock trades his >> Yeah.$17 $175 million made by Trump quarter one this year. his his entities, not Trump himself. He has a trust.
>> No, I mean, you want to be factual. He has a trust, right?
>> I just can't stand.
>> Let me ask you something. Let me ask you something.
>> So, how's your So, his trust is just the best stock tra because Nancy Pelosi isn't.
>> Okay, but that's the thing they're both doing wrong.
>> Okay.
Instead of pivoting, but pointing out somebody else >> because my money is not their money. And at the end of the day, the other like three weeks ago, four weeks ago, I said, "Yo, it was it was a good week on the stock exchange. Everybody check your 403s and 401's. It's looking good. You know, ride the wave and contribute more to your your your funds." You know why?
And that's what they're doing. Except when I put in a,000 bucks, they're putting a million bucks. Theirs is going to flip a lot more than mine.
>> No, you know what they're doing?
>> And then he gets on Twitter and says, "Hey everybody, this is a great company right here. We should all invest." And then he makes way more. He's cheating.
He's not playing the same playbook as you. It's not fair.
>> Yo, >> that's what I'm saying. You're okay with that.
>> You're not paying attention to the companies that are being pushed forward or anything else in the world. That is all you. Everybody's been playing the games for years.
>> I don't get the notice for years.
>> I don't get the notice right now.
>> I don't get the notice. You think I'm on I'm on freaking goddamn truth and Twitter looking for this [ __ ] No, you got to be aware. Yeah, but I don't have the notice that he's going to have Door Dash come um deliver him McDonald's at the White House and he bought Door Dash five times before that happened. I didn't get that memo, Lenny.
>> I didn't get the memo either.
>> Exactly. I would have been on Why are you okay with that?
>> Because a stunt like, "Oh, I bought Door Dash to my um to the White House." I don't think that it doesn't matter. It's really McDonald's was the real winner.
McDonald's and the >> both But still >> McDonald's was not real winner.
[laughter] Both of the stocks went up but in our face.
>> Is it any secret that Trump likes McDonald's?
>> Oh my god. Why are you not seeing what's right in our face?
>> I'm not. What I'm saying is what I'm saying is inside of trading.
>> It's not That's not insider trading.
>> Okay. That um >> That's not inside. What's the correct word for >> That's not inside of trading.
>> This is pumping.
>> That's not inside.
He's manipulating the market.
if why don't you get aware and start planning accordingly.
>> I can't get aware. I'm not in the government. I'm not a billionaire. I'm not getting the text message. But again, I'm telling you you guys, if we don't like if US citizens don't make a change with everything that's happening right now with the elites dropping all this money. Like why are like allegedly there are these like industry leaders and they're helping like look at the state of the country. like we're still allowing these people to control our votes and they have been doing so at least really blatantly since 2010 since the Citizens United decision and the country is every year getting worse. So unless us citizens like look at Kentucky like yo that's on y'all like >> correct >> they got manipulated you guys didn't you know it's like there's a certain age bracket where Massie won like I think under 45 he won by 30%. But it's like, yo, if you're in that age bracket, call your grandparents. Like, talk to them.
If we're going to let this happen, it's already on us. Like, we we, you know, it's like when you like lead lead an animal like off of a cliff, that's kind of what we're doing. Like, if we don't stop and turn around, it's it's done with. It's all in our face. It's as in your face as could be. And if you're looking at that and being like, bet, let's keep let's keep doing this. Let's not change anything. That's something else. And just one little other little little uh point to agree with uh Lenny is that I think January 6 was a very weird day. The pipe bomber situation is weird. He is correct about what he's talking about where there there is footage from certain people who got in that were like being ushered around peacefully by the uh capital police. And there was also people climbing the walls of the capital, breaking in, breaking windows, you know, trying to get in, getting shot in the face, attacking officers. It's I don't think it's one-sided at all. I don't think there was weird stuff going on on both sides.
>> Absolutely.
>> But I also don't think they should all get a universal pardon. Like a lot of these characters are like had, you know, child pedophilia charges, got arrested, like evading the cops after they were pardoned. Like the the uniform pardon was ridiculous, especially when you're running on like a law and order platform and you have these guys like, you know, on video attacking Capitol police officers. So there's just hypocrisy on on both sides.
>> But here's the thing. you you mentioned the other charges and stuff like yeah let's get these [ __ ] out of here anybody that's a pedophile [ __ ] like that however they're already out of jail and it's not the same crime so you can't go around just putting people to jail >> I'm just saying what I'm saying is I'm saying it was a mistake to do a blanket pardon and I think what Alex brought up >> yeah but just the point of bringing up their former charges doesn't hold you can't hold it >> no meaning like they weren't investigated individual by individual obviously right I know what you mean it's like you know they they got pardon and they did all this other stuff or they had this history before. I'm just making a point like not all these people's character was there. Yeah, there could have been like, you know, some grandmas or some some mag people that were just there got their cell phone records that they were there and maybe they didn't even there was like some people who didn't even go in. There were some people who were reporters inside of the capital that got charged.
So, it's like, you know, it it should have been a case by case thing is the point that I'm trying to make.
>> Um, >> so, but Arson, how would you say we >> Well, sorry, sorry, just hold that point before I forget. And I think the the point that Alex made earlier, which I didn't even consider, which is pretty scary, of doing this whole slush fund and partying the January 6, it's like, yeah, if you want a coalition 2028 to do like >> that you already those people.
>> Yeah. Boosting it.
>> Yeah. Like what's the what's the >> And the message that it's sending is like, hey, we got your back, you know, like you you that is kind of scary. I didn't even consider that part. But even like again with all of this like what can we do to change >> uh it's getting I think it's getting a little squirly where they're like nudging us Yeah.
>> towards violence. I'm not advocating for violence, but I'm saying like you watch this Thomas Massie thing like he is uh what's his name? Tim Dylan had a really fun take on his head. It's like Thomas Massiey's agenda was Trump's agenda like a year and a half ago, right? And he got voted out >> for literally supporting all the stuff that Trump was supporting while he was running [laughter] office by candidate supporting all the opposite stuff. Like the guy like the guy who he lost to is like a Navy former Navy Seal veteran like is talking about saying, you know, we need more kids in the military. Like Tim Dylan had a really funny ticket like like bro this guy's saying he wants to send your kids to get killed in foreign n you know in foreign wars or whatever.
And everybody's like, "Yeah, yeah, let's get this Thomas Massie guy out of here."
Who like it's running on Trump's original platform, >> which is just crazy, huh? Crazy. Uh Arson, before you go, would you rather eat through your backside or go number two out of your mouth?
>> You need to like insult me before you pull the trigger on me. My questions.
>> This is crazy. And this is like an easy like, can you imagine being over the toilet like with [ __ ] coming at you?
Like this is that's not even a some people don't they like to put stuff up their butt anyway like weren't this like a China putting like alcohol tampons up their butt to get drunk like that's actually a decent way to like absorb nutrition you know but it would definitely have to be like eating you do some intermittent fasting like just when you're at home have fun with the boys completely drink would be a lot easier you you to get the alcohol up there would be a lot less work than getting this the food you have to probably blend it and everything you guys had that since earlier like or whatever.
[laughter] >> Uh, I go opposite. I guess we could all answer now. I go opposite. I go I'm [ __ ] out my mouth. I'm [ __ ] out my mouth. It's the It's the easiest uh >> Yeah.
>> It's the easiest way to continue living your life >> normally.
>> Barely normally.
>> You're going to be the first one that gets plugged into the matrix.
>> What?
>> I don't got to move. So, you're going to be the first one that gets plug plugged into the matrix. You're going to volunteer. Just be like in a pod. I don't have to move. I don't have to do anything. And I can have my superpowers in this other world. And like >> what does that have to do with anything?
>> What I'm talking about? I want to [ __ ] out my mouth. So that way one, I can still go out to dinner. I can still >> convenience. You're talking about convenience.
>> Yes. Convenience. Yes. Life is crazy.
>> If I got a [ __ ] you feel the [ __ ] feeling. I was like, "All right, I'm excuse myself. Go to the bathroom. Go to a stall. Boom." And it's just going to be like throwing up. But at least I get to eat out in public. I don't got to drop my pants every time I want to eat.
Is this becoming like a intervention? Do we have like eating disorder?
[laughter] >> You're so cool with throwing up.
Throwing up is like the worst thing ever.
>> Worst feeling ever.
>> Um, have you guys shoved food up your ass before? I don't think that's going to >> It's not going to h You got a sphincter, son. It ain't going up.
>> How look like I'm I'm like, "Okay, let's eat these burgers together." And I'm [ __ ] reaching around.
>> No, you blend it up. You blend it up cuz obviously unless we're in a little world where there's like teeth in there.
>> So then nutritional value.
>> Okay. But think that means you have to get to a blender every time you want to eat.
>> That means you got to do a [ __ ] enema and [ __ ] You got enema your food.
>> Nah, son. You're >> y'all crazy.
>> You can't even drink.
>> You talking about going to You talking about going to a restaurant, [ __ ] on your mouth, and getting back to the table.
>> No. No. No. You going to hold it. You got hold.
>> You brush your teeth. You You mouthwash.
Good to go.
>> Just like you hold the [ __ ] you got to hold this.
>> You hold the [ __ ] now. Crazy >> when you when you're out.
>> That is true.
>> That is true. You could do on the island by yourself with ya. Shut out your mouth island by yourselves with this.
[laughter] >> So wait, wait a second. So if you guys are constipated, you're just going to have [ __ ] in your throat the whole time.
>> Nah, crazy constipation.
>> Nah.
>> Yeah.
>> Well, you know, [laughter] so you know what's going to happen? You know what's going to happen? Your bow duck is there is making all this stuff.
It's going to turn into mush. It's going to be I'm telling you, it's a better thing.
>> [ __ ] out your mouth.
>> I feel like that's a nobrainer. [ __ ] out your >> [ __ ] out your mouth. Your life has changed when thousands eating through your ass.
>> They just sit on the plate and you do whatever.
>> What the point? Your ass is doing this.
It's not That's not happening.
>> Make a clap on the regular. What do they [laughter] do?
>> But their spinter's closed.
>> How do you do? You got You got to blend it. You got to blend it.
>> Thank you so much.
>> You got to be You got to be careful.
>> Well, I got to be careful, man. If you're going to start [ __ ] on your mouth, you're going to turn magnitude.
>> Oh, I'm start sounding like Letty, right?
>> Bunch of [ __ ] Bunch [laughter] of [ __ ] coming at you now.
Yo, love you, brother. Appreciate you, man.
>> I love you guys. Later.
>> Love you, bro.
>> All right, we ran super long. I think we do have another caller that wants to do a offscript. So, we'll just jump straight to offscript. This is the part of the show where [ __ ] it, say whatever you want and address anything. So, let's do it. Bring them right up. Who do we got?
>> First of all, like I always say, you got some creative questions here. Uh, so you got to get creative with the answers, right?
>> Yeah. Yeah. Okay.
>> I'm eating out the backside, bro.
Because you got to think about it, bro.
That's the perfect excuse to get out of dinner plans. Nobody want to see you eating like that, right? So you get out in-laws, important meetings that you might not want to go to. Like, hey no, no, just call me over Zoom. I can't really be in public like that. Like, >> okay, but what about the opposite? What if you're looking forward to a restaurant? It's like, oh, everybody says the food is so amazing. You got to just sit there and watch everybody.
>> I got you. Listen, you just got to present yourself like a like a a master pianist, right? Remember back in the day or even still, they had that toe totail and they just whoosh it back. Put my plate on the seat. I'm a whoo back, sit down and do my thing. You know what I mean? Like, >> but you can't see.
>> No, that's a great idea. So, wait, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on.
>> Just doing this.
>> So, two two things, right?
>> Hey, we don't know. You didn't give the anatomy.
>> We did it. We did.
>> There's a mouth down there. You chewing and stuff like that.
>> That is true.
>> But go ahead, Pedro. What were we going to say?
>> The same thing with going with you guys were saying was that like, hey, first of all, you don't have to eat and talk at the same time. So, you can have conversations, stay connected with people, do all that stuff.
>> Your body's moving though. And then second of all, >> like an engine, >> what are you going to do? You're a little groovy. Ain't nothing wrong with that.
>> Are you going to keep a cheeseburger hanging for an hour now if you get eaten through the backside? [sighs] >> Listen, I'm not doing the meal.
>> I'm [ __ ] out my mouth. I'm skipping the meal.
>> So, first of all, >> see, >> first of all, like >> yo, something's coming out of your >> It don't matter.
>> Imagine how about all those times that you ever fart and it's really not a fart. You'll never know to trust if it's a fart, a burp, or a shark, you going to half throw up in your mouth or half [ __ ] in your mouth. There's a lot of people talking to like the girl of your dreams and accidentally [ __ ] [laughter] >> That just means every time you feel the rumble, you go to the bathroom just in case. You always have some genius to me.
>> Don't you think the logistics of eating through your ash is a little more cumbersome than the logistics of [ __ ] out like [ __ ] out your mouth? Listen, again, y'all didn't put the anatomy to things, so I'm just imagining I don't taste anything down there. It just I'm chewing and it's going up just to come back out the same way.
>> Sounds efficient to me.
>> Oh yeah, >> sounds efficient to me.
>> And the other thing too, you got to imagine, right? Again, for the way I'm looking at this, there's a whole mouth down there. You tell somebody to kiss your ass, they can have a good time down there. You feel me? some girl like for the story y was talking about all flagrant she want to start licking the booty then you know we could just make out lick [laughter] >> exactly >> I just be giving you food that hot dog >> oh that is funny hot dog now you took it too far >> oh there's that aspect of things too imagine going to jail bro that's the best defense go ahead and put some up there if you want to I'll bite that [ __ ] off [laughter] >> wait but now if you go but now if you go down on your girl's question >> ask the puss What are you doing?
>> What are y'all doing? It's >> Oh, well, technically you still have, bro. No, you still have mouth.
>> Hey, for them guys out there that are attracted to studs. Yeah, that could be the play right there, girl. We could scissor, too. What's up, [laughter] brought some good strap attached like, let's go.
>> He brought some good luck, >> dude. We We've gone off the rails, too.
>> We did. I like radio set. What What else you got going on?
>> Yeah, >> man. I just been busy. I ain't going to lie. Um, >> what's going on?
>> I was going to say I wanted to talk about Akos for a second. I ain't going to get too crazy cuz you know I I know y'all trying to leave a boy alone. Okay.
>> But, um, >> he's missed on the show a lot. Um, but I'm excited to see what he's got coming next. Um, a quick story. I remember years ago my sister took me to one of his shows out in Holland, Michigan, right? And he killed. He had a little Q&A at the end. I was able to talk to him, ask him some advice about doing some podcast stuff. And um, it was really cool. But then I saw him again the next day in Moskegan and y'all talked about this on Flagr. That boy did not do well at that show. I'm gonna be honest with you.
>> The crowd the crowd >> comics hit or miss. You know they have their nights.
>> He was good but the crowd wasn't. But what I loved seeing though was in his frustration he got in his bag and he started doing like he was working on his jokes on the spot type of thing. So he basically saw like >> this ain't a good opportunity but I can still make this an opportunity good for me. So I'm excited to see if he can turn that around on stage live. I can only imagine what he's gonna turn around with this situation he's going through and what comes from it. So, I'm really excited about that.
>> No, that's dope. You know, that's my brother. I love him and it sucks. I I miss him. It It feels like something's missing in the room on flagrant, but I I begged him I begged him to stay, but he really is happier and he wants to just like focus on stand up. Like, he's been able to >> take [ __ ] to another level. And I saw the Radio City show. Oh my god. Like dying. Like the show was great. And he addresses, you know, the stuff that he went through. So, I can't wait till he puts that out cuz Yeah, it is.
>> And that's what I'm saying like, >> and I know he'll get what I means by this if he ever sees this or whatever, but like, you know, them people took it his people's jewels once. I know they he ain't going to let him take his jewels again. You know what I'm saying? Like, >> no, that's my guy, man. He He He's the best. He's the best. I love him.
>> 100% 100%.
>> Well, yes. Radio Sam, I appreciate you for closing out the show like this, man.
You're you're the dude, bro.
>> Got to It's been a while.
>> Yes. All right. I'll see you next week, right?
>> Deuces. Oh yeah, I'll be here. Look, are you all gonna be here on time?
>> Yesterday [laughter] watching this like, "Oh, it's going on.
>> We gonna be on. We gonna be on time." I I will say this, even though I was I was late. I was running a little late today.
There was a lot of [ __ ] going on with Trains. However, it wasn't like we just jumped into it.
>> It don't matter. It don't matter. Be on time. All right.
>> You're right. You're right.
>> Appreciate your radio s.
>> All right, brother.
>> Do it, bro.
>> All right, man. That uh >> Let's just hope for next week real quick.
just just, you know, just let's sweep these guys. Let's get ready for the finals.
>> Uh let's get ready to see the Thunder most likely.
>> Do you want to sweep or do you want them to close it out at home?
>> No, no, no, no, no, no. You know, you know why? Because we already dealing with this um they already canceled the watch parties outside of MSG cuz they going nuts. Even though when we went we was at the ball for game one. We went outside. It was at MSG side talking.
Everybody there good time, but [ __ ] is wilder as as as they do.
thing too. They wild out. They rush the the watch area. So now NYPD shut it down. So this is the thing and it feels terrible to say this, but if the New York Knicks in some way, shape, or form win the goddamn championship. This whole goddamn city is going to burn.
>> It's going to look >> I don't want this to happen. So please, can y'all please let's win the chip, but let's not destroy New York City. Can y'all not Can we do that?
>> I don't know who this is and what the [ __ ] he talking about. Let's tear this [ __ ] down. We win the [ __ ] city. Yo, we'll build it back. We charging you back. We're charging you for a ride. How you trying to destroy your own home?
>> Because we need this. We have >> That's why we got to shut [ __ ] down cuz of people like this.
>> Okay. I'll be >> Nobody can't have anything.
>> I'll be right out there. Yo, his people be eating horseshit when they win.
>> Lord, >> horseshit.
>> Yeah. [laughter] >> So, in Philly, they was eating horseshit in New York. All right.
>> But you in Philly now.
>> I know. Yeah.
>> So, we took care of y'all and we going to take care of Cleveland.
>> Let's do it.
>> All right. Well, can just be safe, okay?
>> Be safe. Yeah. Yeah. [ __ ] all that. Tear up the city. All right. [laughter] Yo, that was the show everybody. I want to give a big thanks to Lenny and Tjo for holding it down today.
