[00:00:00]How would you characterize the global impact of Donald Trump's leadership style, particularly in times of crisis?

[00:00:05]The impact is huge.

[00:00:09]And it became uh stronger in President Trump's second term.

[00:00:16]Um I had frequent relation with President Trump during his first term um when I was the Italian Prime Minister. And by the way, Italy was chairing the group of uh seven.

[00:00:31]Um Um some ideas were already there on the world trade relation, on um climate.

[00:00:42]Um so, the the first Trump was uh from this point of view coherent with uh the second term of President Trump. And now, uh the disruptive intention, because President Trump is firmly convinced of the fact that the international order caused a problem to uh the American citizens, and he wants to change this order.

[00:01:07]Um but the risk is very clear, in my view, that under this claim, um America First, you could have a negative result, which is America alone.

[00:01:23]The American strength was built in these decades um through alliances.

[00:01:30]Economic alliances, the role of the dollar, military alliances. We spoke before about NATO, but same was happening uh with Japan and in other part of the world.

[00:01:42]Is the American strength uh possible in a more um solitude attitude? Is the American strength possible only with the claim America First? This is a big big um question for our future.
